What a gem. J'aime is a small café that will win you over on smells alone. They have traditional French pastries both savory and sweet - don't try choosing, get one of each! We loved the salmon & spinach quiche and the quiche lorraine. The almond croissant was buttery, the frangipane filling ratio just right. Grab bread to go, try a madeleine, or a bag of day old pain chocolat. We sat for our treats and coffee but it does get tight when it fills up (only two seats at the window.)...read full review
Sometimes when you come to Center City for a few hours on your day off, you want a nice little treat. I was in the mood for some coffee and pastries. A quick search led me to the charming J'aime French Cafe. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate hazelnut croissant and dined inside the cafe. The cappuccino was so foamy and delicious. Lovely little neighborhood coffee spot. Delicious coffee, great service, cute atmosphere....and it always smells *amazing*!I can't speak to the bakery section due to a gluten allergy, but my friends who have eaten here say the food is really good!
