“Hidden Vietnamese food in a shopping plaza in Wexford!! Recently, I found out that Little Viet Kitchen is the owner's second location up north! The other eatery is Banh Mi and Ti in Lawrenceville. They have the exact menu! The food is out of this world. The protein is flavorful and come in a variety of ways to eat. They have deli pork, beef, chicken, pork belly, marinated pork and vegetarian options. You can pair the protein in a sandwich, rice bowl or dry rice noodle bowl! The Banh Mi is a french baguette filled with marinated meat, pickled veggies and sauce, which is the perfect combination of savory and spices. I tried the Drunken Beef Banh Mi and I could not get enough of it. The beef is slightly sweet but mixes well with the sauce and fresh veggies. I also tried the Pork n Roll (sweet marinated pork with 5 spice) in a rice bowl! The portion was small but enough for a meal. Definitely on the sweeter side, but the pickled carrots, cucumber and tomato cut the sweetness. They also offer pho and a variety of drinks. I had the mint lemonade, which could have had more lemon flavor, but had fresh mint leaves too! The ambiance is casual. And this location is strictly take out. No tables inside at all. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Prices are fair. Looking forward to many more meals! tldr food 5/5 service 4.5/5 ambiance 4/5“

“I was curious about this place because every time I drive by, they're packed. Today I thought, why not try them out. Well I now will only go to this drive thru as my quick coffee pickup. I'm honestly annoyed at myself for not doing this earlier. I'm so tired of giving money to megacorps like dunkin' and Starbucks. This coffee is really solid and they have a wide selection. The prices are cheaper than Starbucks and the quality is the same, if not better. I will be a regular customer for sure!I now want them to open up a ton more locations throughout the city. I feel like the business plan is amazing, you have a small lot with low infrastructure costs and minimal staff. They were quite ingenious on the placement, making use of the roads turning lane to provide 2 different drive thru directions. No megacorp coffee place has something like this. I just hope that the workers get paid a fair wage and that the business stays profitable, it's hard to compete against coffee giants and I wish them the best!“

The staff go above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed every time we visit. They gladly fill my reusable cup with any drink I order, sell us glass jars of milk to take home, and they even have some toys and books for kids to occupy themselves for a bit. While food options are limited, they often have pop ups on weekends. The space can get busy, but if you do get a seat, it is a nice place to relax and people watch over some coffee.“

“Very solid spot for a snack or some coffee and a treat. Solid prices and a nice atmosphere. They have most of the classic coffee shop creations. I tried their hot cocoa, brownie, and chocolate chip cookie.Their desserts seem to be made in house. The brownie varieties vary from day to day, and this time, it was just a chocolate frosted one with sprinkles. The brownie had tons of pieces of chocolate in it, and the frosting was tasty as well. A tad dry, but still good. The chocolate chip cookie was only $1! What an amazing price and deal. It was very tasty as well, also having big chunks of chocolate in it. I’d definitely recommend. The hot cocoa was quite milky and honestly didn’t have much flavor. I was hoping for a chocolatey flavor, but it wasn’t there. Still, solid, and I’m sure the coffee is probably their specialty and likely better. All in all, I definitely enjoyed this place. Reasonable prices, solid portions, and a nice assortment of in house desserts. I'm obsessed with their chocolate almond iced coffee, but they also have so many other unique & delicious drinks. It is very clear that the barristers there are passionate and knowledgable about the ingredients they use/drinks & food they make. They also have cashew, sesame, & almond milk. Expect a hello when you step inside, they're happy to welcome you in! The atmosphere is calm and I love the vibe. The last time I was here, the walls were much darker and had an unfortunate cave effect (peering in from the sidewalk, it had been very dark inside). The fresh coat of paint does a LOT to brighten up the space. It's so warm and inviting, like a latte! :) The art from local artists really makes the joint feel connected to the local community, and I can really appreciate the support/platform they offer (the pieces are for sale, which is really cool). “Dino Cuturic, mate, I think you're the one doing the screeching in the comments. Calm down. Firstly, if you took a basic middle school physics class, you would realize the human voice doesnt have a high enough frequency to shatter a thick water glass (unless u were drinking water in a wine glass), your concerns were useless ;) Oh, and I do understand sarcasm.Anyways Ive deleted my comment because well, I really dont care, I'll let you have your 5 star rating back Tahsin ;), and Google will probably take down your descriptive story telling comments because they're deemed irrelevant. Also just in case you didn't realize Dino, its almost verbal bullying, using the words you used (banshee). I ain't calling you out personally dude, you gotta chill. You're the one screeching here. Also pls dont call me lady, it makes me feel old when I'm not even 21.Anyways, have a good easter, if you celebrate it. Of course I will delete this comment if you take down yours too, I mean Google will eventually take all these comments down anyways since its not relevant to the busines, since I removed the original review and yall are making it personal. If not, guess who's the real vindictive person, as yall say in your comments, (Hint : its not me, because I peacefully took down my comment on the disrespectful service, as I might have over exaggerated it ;) )“

Too often, when I've purchased almond croissants elsewhere, I find that there isn't enough almond filling.Well, let me just say that I was not disappointed today! The filling went almost to the very end on both sides of the croissant and there was plenty spread all throughout. The croissant is flaky but I wouldn't have cared if it had the density of a bagel. The filling did it for me.Good coffee, service felt a smidgeon slow but it i was in and out in less than 10 minutes so, that was just me. And, the people at the counter were just lovely-- very polite, professional, and pleasant.I would definitely recommend Delaney's for coffee and a treat to start the day. Or for lunch.“

“Big Dog is one of our go to spots for post-run coffees! Those caramel and seasonal lattes are just perfect. The owner is incredibly kind, and the whole vibe with the eclectic decor and artwork is my kind of cozy. Bonus points for letting in cute dogs to pet! Whenever I've got the time, sipping my latte from a mug and soaking in the atmosphere is my little treat. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good coffee and a welcoming vibe.“

Ultra Matcha Tea • $$
3511 Butler St, Pittsburgh

“Cute cafe in Lawrenceville, has lots of tables and natural lighting making it a great place to study and do work. Street parking is also easy to find. Service is great. The first time I went, I thought the matcha was a bit bland. However, another friend recommended me to get it with the vanilla flavor and I enjoyed the drink a lot more. Can't say it's the best matcha ever but it's pretty good. I'd come back anyways just for the nice study environment.“

“Lovely bakery & cafe in upper Lawrenceville. The aesthetic inside is cute and cozy but has a unique feel to it with the long velvet curtains and dried flowers. The sweets are super tasty! I tried the cardamom rose cake and it was to die for. Will 100% be back.“

“Fantastic little coffee/tea shop tucked away in the Pittsburgh suburbs. Baristas are friendly & helpful. The hot coffee I had was fantastic. The cold drinks I saw that others purchased looked like they would be tasty. Cannot wait to go back and try something else.“

Trace Brewing Brewery • $$
4312 Main St, Pittsburgh

“As another patron noted, the staff didn't seem all too keen to indulge in free-chat. I too felt a bit burdensome for no apparent reason other than being older than the common lot. But the space makes up for it and some of the beer was very good. I definitely look forward to returning. It seems to me that there's a lot of weird class resentment in Pittsburgh. You can be a bar owner but feel somehow threatened by someone who speaks in an educated manner, even if you're economically far less off.“
