I’m traveling from Oregon and stopped by for drinks and food. This is an amazing establish. Reviews don’t do justice. Highly highly recommend stopping by for a quick sip and bite. Everyone was really kind to me. As a solo traveler I wasn’t sure what I would get into. I got a simple shrimp in the basket and it was SO GOOD. Omg. I can go on and on about Squirrel Hill Cafe. Went here for the first time. These kinds of places are disappearing quick! Talked with the bartender who has been there for 40+ years. There wasn't a cool, so we didn't get to try the food, but we will definitely be back. Nice beer selection in cans and a few drafts.

People working over there are very friendly. The food is good with large portions. We tried hamburger and fried fish. Fries could have been better. Prices are reasonable. I recommend this place.
