Great sub place! Got a chessesteak sub and it was very tasty. More of a old school sub place (comparing to Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's) which made the sub even tastier.
I ordered the Ultra Uncle Sam's Special Steak(extra steak, provolone, mushrooms, grilled onions, "sweet" peppers, lettuce & tomatoes fries included of coarse! Delicious ?

I always live stopping by Uncle Sam' Subs. Whether in Squirrel Hill or Robinson, the food is always good. I don't know if they bake their own bread or not, but you could put Shoe Leather on their buns and it would taste good.Always a winner.I did notice that the fries seemed a bit thicker than I remember from last visit but my vote is to stick with the thinner fries - they hold up better as lunch goes on.
