“The Mullets continue to impress me each and every time I go! Friday night they went above and beyond and I was so impressed. I appreciate you all and so happy to have you so close. Thank you for being a safe place for the celiac community!Fish Sandwich in photos: to die for!!“
“Looking for that truly special restaurant? Spork in Garfield is it! I can't stop thinking about our experience at this chef-led restaurant. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience. What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. The team works with small producers, grows some of their own produce + herbs, and mills their own grain for house made bread. My favorite sip was the "So Long Frankie Louise" cocktail and my favorite bite was the homemade bread roll. When you get a reservation here expect out of this world food & service plus:- Truly great alcohol free options including mocktails, zero proof beer & wine Surprise bites throughout your meal.- Lots of choice & small plates - great for the table to try a little of a variety of dishes.- This is such a unique spot to book for that special occasion.Definitely go hungry and be prepared to be well nourished!“
“Refucilo is a must visit! 1000% recommend for bilingual families. The wine flights are amazing and the owner/staff so kind. My parents are Spanish speakers, and often feel left out from having us translate the experience. This time, they were able to fully lean into the wine tasting and connect with Juan Antonio. The empanadas were delicious and paired well with the Refucilo wines.“
“We love Pino's. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the Bolognese and Tomato Basil pastas, and the market fish, which was an Alaskan cod, perfectly seasoned and presented. Everything was absolutely delicious! Don't skip dessert!“
“I was there for a charity event. They had delicious snack type food. My chai tea was absolutely delicious. Service was great and everyone very friendly. Much of the historic charm of the building is intact. The only reason for a 4 on atmosphere was the music was a little too loud.“
“Food is usually decent and the service is speedy and always friendly. The atmosphere can be really loud sometimes, especially in the back of the restaurant. Overall a fun place to dine and meet up with a few friends for good food and drinks.“
“My friend and I traveled to Silk Elephant from Bethel Park. Three Reasons:: We love the Chicken Pad Thai.: We love the Thai Crab Bisque and Salmon Rolls: We love the Mango JuiceThe prices are so reasonable especially compared to how other restaurants have really spiked their prices. Service is always good. Hooray for them. Love giving them my business.“
“Great place for jazz and poetry music in the afternoon. A unique blend of the spoken word and smooth music rhythms. I highly recommend a drop by every 3rd Sunday for afternoon brunch and some jazz poetry sounds....It can't be missed.Parking: Free parking out front on Sundays.“
“This is a nice restaurant. The food was good and the service was well-done. With my food allergies, the menu was a bit limited. I can't eat garlic so I had only a few options. The prices are a bit on the high side. My salad meal with one drink and one appetizer was $48 for one person. The restaurant would improve if the lighting was brighter. It was quite dark in the restaurant.“
“Great ambiance in a beautiful and classy hotel and restaurant. Everyone that works there is very nice and friendly. Food and drink service was a little slow, but the delicious cocktails and food easily made up for it. They were pretty busy because there was a wedding. Great views of the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning. We'll be back for sure!“
“Kicking myself for not driving up the hill sooner to this incredible Pittsburgh gem! The food: outstanding and fresh. The drinks: Delicious. The glassware: so fun. The owner and staff: incredible people. We visited on the last night of the season before the owner makes the trek home for some well-deserved time off for the holidays. (They'll be back in Feb). We had lovely conversations with the staff and other bar patrons. It's a lovely cozy space and the perfect environment for talking to strangers. There are some beautiful photos on the wall used as conversation starters from the owners travels. I tried the pickle martini and some of the house-made wines, all were so tasty. The food blew me out of the water. The Iberian plate was a perfectly curated mix of the most delicious meats, cheeses, olives, kimchi, etc. We got lucky that day as the owner had prepared her famous lamb. She slices it thin and serves it with a generous portion of pita bread and house made dips including tatziki and red pepper hummus. I'm dreaming of eating and drinking here again and can't wait to become a regular.“
