“You may like to build your own tacos from the nice selection of ingredients or choose one off the list by name. The music played at a volume not too loud but not soft and I enjoyed the songs. The margarita was awesome. The taco tasted the best of any place I have been.“
“the Manager treated me and my boyfriend eric and our disabled cousin, Elaina, with so much care and compassion. She has autism and seemed really nervous and the manager quickly saw and approached us. She kindly calmed elaina down and gave her a sprite. the staff were wonderful and the food was great!! loved the nachos with extra beef and cheese! 10/10 recommend“
“The food at this place as absolutely great. We always compare food with the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to (in Arizona) and this is the closest competitor we’ve had so far. The guacamole was great, so were the deserts. The one complaint we had was the music is so loud it’s hard to talk with people at your own table. We wish the music was a little quieter. Other than that, it was great!Parking: We had to park at the bank. It’s pretty difficult to find parking unfortunately.“
“They gave us the green salsa with our chips, we had to ask for the house/red salsa. Offered a "peach tea", it wasn't peach at all and barely tasted like tea, I took a sip and asked for another drink.....we were billed for the green salsa and the nasty tea.....neither of which we wanted or enjoyed. I have never been to a restaurant that charges you for something you didn't like or ask for. ordered 2 soft chicken tacos....small as a taco bell taco and had a tablespoon or 2 of juice in them.....just runs out all over the place.“
“I tend to enjoy menus that encourage you to build your own entrees, so that's a plus here. Good ingredients served on sustainable-ware.Huge windows but faces a parking lot.Vegetarian options: The tofu was crisp and tasty! Lots of sauce and condiments combinations to keep things seasoned.“
“If you are looking for authentic TexMex, Fajita Pete's is the best spot in Pittsburgh for it. Everything is made from scratch, including their tortillas. We lived in Austin, TX and this was our first TexMex experience that reminded us of the food down there. Highly recommend!“
“I came to this location for my friends bachelorette party and have never been so impressed! We had a large group that they easily accommodated for. The staff was so welcoming and personable.. shoutout to Evan our waiter! Clean location and DELICIOUS food. Eric (manager) was also such a big help and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience! Would definitely recommend.“
“A new favorite. The wife and I got put on to this place by the kids. Everything here is freshly made and you can see them making everything right there. Burritos and tacos are great and the Fries and Cheese are the best ??Parking: Usually plenty of street parking but you may have to go up, down and around due to all the various one way streets.“
“Probably one of the best Mad Mex in the city. Definitely the best wait staff around and always a consistently good meal whenever I come. Can't go wrong with any of their sides but the wings and pennsyltucky tofu are the best. The new tortilla soup recipe is bad.“
“This Moe's location is somewhat unique in that orders are primarily placed using kiosks (iPad Pros -- nice choice!). You can also order at the counter if you prefer. The employees at this location are very friendly, food is served quickly, and the dining area is clean. Conveniently located on Fifth Ave; frequented by students and hospital workers.“
“Excellent service and food. The photo doesn’t do justice but we are so busy that we didn’t get a chance to take photos. Birria quesadilla was excellent. Drinks are great. We were visiting Pittsburgh from New York City and this is definitely one of the highlights of our trip.“
“I had such an amazing experience yesterday when I ordered a chicken burrito from a supervisor named Christian. Not only did Christian help me create a tasty burrito; she also was extremely sweet, patient, and able to keep a wonderful conversation. Christian made me feel very welcomed on my very late lunch break. Thank you so much Christian for not only the tasty burrito but for your bright calming personality. I will be coming to Moe’s a lot more. 5 stars !“
“MadMex is one of my favorite restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and this location did not disappoint. Although I am not a vegetarian, I love the selection for those that are. On this visit I had the tofu and mushroom fajitas and they were delicious!“
“First of all, this location is awesome. Their patio/porch area that overlooks the lake is such so cute and such a nice spot for a meal or drinks (or both!). We love their happy hour and we've never had a bad thing on the menu - their wings are our favorite wings, love their tofu as the app and as the tacos, delicious steak tacos and fajitas! Just go lol it's great (we had Otis for a late lunch yesterday during their NYE special - which they always have great specials - and he was so sweet!)“
“So this is a hidden gem I guess-not sure, reason I say hidden-It was no wait and plenty of space yet LOTS OF PPL were in Chilis on Saturday. Anyway, food was great-Ribs tender and juicy-the chicken honey chipotle was ?! The only complaint was the triple dipper southwestern egg rolls-HAD NO FLAVOR-our server was ok, atmosphere was laid back and the drink WAS A DRINK ?“
“I ordered THC from Uber Eats for dinner tonight and it was excellent. The bowl was BIG and made with fresh ingredient; I particularly loved the flavor of the chicken. Definitely recommend the queso and guac too! Like the other reviews say, skip Chipotle and order from The Hungry Cowgirl!“
