“How do I describe the Pho restaurant. It has most commonly seen Vietnamese cuisine. The taste of Pho was a bit plain style but nice. I like my pho very hot when served. It's not up to my requirements but still acceptable. They apologized for not serving basil for pho because they couldn't find any from their market... My bad luck... Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. Recommended!!“
“Road trip from Toronto to Pittsburgh. Stayed here for 4 days.My family members were all craving for Pho. Googled the best pho and Pho Van was top of the list.Quiet Easter Sunday in Strip District but not Pho Van.There was lineup outside of the restaurant. In my mind, it’s gotta be good.I went in the restaurant and checked myself in. There were few people waiting before me. Waited almost 25 mins. It’s weird that they didn’t sit us in when there was a table for 4 people.I asked the staff and they said there was one person in front of me.So, it doesn’t make sense to me if you want to sit 1 person at a 4 people table.anyway, that person got another table and I sit at the table which was ready 10 mins ago.————-Pho:It’s very pricy comparing to Toronto (i know I can’t compare but still…). A bowl of Pho cost me $18 USD (~$25 CAD) and it’s only one size.Soup base was nice. No heavy MSG. I ordered eye round pho. Portion was ok (Large size in Toronto), meat portion was just ok. I expected more for this price. The noodle was thinner than Toronto. It was nice.Spring rollIt was delicious. Freshly made. Not those frozen one we have in Toronto. Well done here.————-Overall, it was a nice Pho place to stop bu. It was expensive for Pho. $120 US with tips for 4 bowls of Pho.“
“My brother in law turned my wife and me on to this place for lunch. Everything was made to order and very fresh and delicious. The Pho, Salad and Banh MIi sandwich were to die for (but don't). You are going to want to go back for more LOL! The staff is very nice and the service was great.“
“The Pork Banh Mi is so refreshingly fresh and tasty! Their vermicelli bowls are on the smaller side, but tasty. I’m usually in for a tea, and occasionally treat myself to a Banh Mi.Needless to say, thanks to the food and the ladies who run this place, I’m a regular!“
“Every time I'm in a new city I like to find a good pho spot and this did not disappoint. The broth was so rich that I did not need to add a thing. The meat was very tender. The spring rolls were flavorful as well and tasted different from the many I've had before from other restaurants. The service was amazing, my waitress was so sweet and attentive. I am a pho lover and don't really write reviews but here I am.“
“This place is so cute and well decorated! I love the vibe and there was lots of seating to choose from. My orange cardamom latte was so delicious and flavorful and the bahn mi was also quite good. You pay at the front and then go back up to get your food once your name is called. They were quick and efficient and everything was good quality!“
“Delicious and very nice staff. The iced coffee was soooo good. Granted it was my first time trying Vietnamese coffee. I got the special without the meatballs. Very small place to eat but, a gem of a find. All of my team members and I enjoyed our meals.“
“My friend and I went here on a whim this last Sunday around noon. I had never gotten food from here before but had heard really good things about her banh mi. There was no one waiting when we came up and we were able to place our order right away. We each got a banh mi and it was $8 each. They only take cash. They had a table available if you wanted to eat your food there which I would've done if we got pho. The banh mi itself was flavorful but not what I was expecting (I was expecting the traditional banh mi with pate and all the usual instead of just the roast pork). I thought the pickled vegetables that came with it were delicious and really balanced out the pork well.“
“Pho Minh is back to in person dining, and me and my friend went around 6 PM for dinner. We got the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious and I got a beef pho. The broth was perfectly flavored and light and I appreciated the amount of green onions. Definitely will be back to try other things.Note: this restaurant is cash only“
“Hands down the best Vietnamese food I have had in Pittsburgh. Pho is flavorful, but my favorite is their Bahn-Mi sandwhich. They are massive, use fresh French bread, and are only 8$. Very casual atmosphere but the food is top notch. Don’t miss this place!“
“Excellent food. Pho is great and they have a wide variety as well as other items. The Banh Mi is also very very good. This place can get very very busy with both dine in and a lot of takeout so service can be a little slow but if you have the time it is well worth “
“Food is always tasty. Service is usually prompt and kind. However, my friend and I had dinner here last night and the music was so loud that i could barely concentrate or hold a conversation. Maybe the goal is to get people out quickly, or to only focus on takeout. Whatever the case, please, please, turn the volumn down on the music.“
“We went in for dinner, not knowing what to expect. Ended up getting the hibachi, which came with salad and soup. We were quite pleasantly surprised with what seemed a very homemade ginger dressing on the salad, and full wontons with sliced pork in the soup. The main course was delicious, flavorful and enjoyable both in restaurant as well as the reheated leftovers - portions are generous. The atmosphere is a little kitchy, but not in any bad way. Service was crazy; we never wanted for anything, it just showed up, and the timing on it was comfortable. We weren't rushed but also weren't waiting around for the check. I'm excited to go back and try more! I heard once that 'you know it's authentic pho place if they have a number in the name'. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but they definitely earned a good review from me.“
“Hidden Vietnamese food in a shopping plaza in Wexford!! Recently, I found out that Little Viet Kitchen is the owner's second location up north! The other eatery is Banh Mi and Ti in Lawrenceville. They have the exact menu! The food is out of this world. The protein is flavorful and come in a variety of ways to eat. They have deli pork, beef, chicken, pork belly, marinated pork and vegetarian options. You can pair the protein in a sandwich, rice bowl or dry rice noodle bowl! The Banh Mi is a french baguette filled with marinated meat, pickled veggies and sauce, which is the perfect combination of savory and spices. I tried the Drunken Beef Banh Mi and I could not get enough of it. The beef is slightly sweet but mixes well with the sauce and fresh veggies. I also tried the Pork n Roll (sweet marinated pork with 5 spice) in a rice bowl! The portion was small but enough for a meal. Definitely on the sweeter side, but the pickled carrots, cucumber and tomato cut the sweetness. They also offer pho and a variety of drinks. I had the mint lemonade, which could have had more lemon flavor, but had fresh mint leaves too! The ambiance is casual. And this location is strictly take out. No tables inside at all. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Prices are fair. Looking forward to many more meals! tldr food 5/5 service 4.5/5 ambiance 4/5“
