“If you build it or in this case name it they will come. Made it to Bees knees for the first time! Coffees were so good that they unfortunately didn't make it home. Yes I drank both that was after my cup of joe at home and ones with breakfast at the sunset west diner up the road. Oh and yes the one had a double shot of expresso in it don't judge it was a long 8 hr work week and late night with MLB openers on the left coast . Yes please I'll have the Ohtani with my Trout ( sorry wrong group ). The set up is not conventional, with the pick up window in the back yard (rear of the building ) Unfortunately I chose the day after a significant rain and obviously did not plan for the off the beaten path pick up situation ( I was wearing my new kicks ! ( hoka ) This is the only reason I docked the joint one star. Please support this business so they can get a landscape makeover. Pea size gravel , crushed stone , pavers , a ramp anything would Bee an upgrade to mushy grass. The coffee with 2 shots in it was my favorite, but the dark bourbon with whole milk was a close second!“

“Absolutely fabulous bakery to order a custom cake from! I could not be happier with the cake and outstanding customer service. I shared my vision with Tatiana for a custom graduation cake and she did an excellent job. Our guests were wowed! “This cute little cafe is a hidden gem with vegetarian options!I stopped in with my family while on a road trip and got the BEST vegetarian borscht that I've ever had. They also have the most delicious stuffed pastries that they serve hot if you're dining in. We got the spinach and cheese pastry and also a mashed potato and mushroom pastry. One stuffed pastry is a nice size for a light lunch, especially with a cup of borscht, but we loved the pastries so much that we got some to go, too!My only regret is that this wonderful cafe is so far from home!Vegetarian options: Phenomenal stuffed pastries. There were three vegetarian options, and the two that we got were amazing!Kid-friendliness: There was a high chair and they were so sweet with our two kids. They were feeling picky today, but I think other kids would love the pastries and soups! There is no changing table for babies in the bathroom, though, so you may need to stop elsewhere afterwards if a little one needs a fresh diaper.“

“Seriously the Best Vibes in the downtown State College area! just a super warm, friendly place with a big selection of drinks and yummy local pastries and breakfast or snack items available. My fav is the lavender-vanilla and now the sugar free hazelnut!“

“Recommend! I had never had this style of pastry before - so I picked up an assortment! I got the last Portuguese egg tart, a pork sung, a cranberry milk butter bun, and a Nutella and cheese. (Sadly, they were out of the ham and cheese, so I’ll have to wait and try that another time!) All were very good! None of the sweet varieties were overly sweet and the egg tart crust was so light and flaky. Must say, though, the pork sung was my favorite! Will return to try more of their delightful baked goods soon.“

“Went here to try someplace new, and it was like finding treasure, the food was great and the restaurant was so clean and cozy. I ordered the basil ribeye and it was delicious. What I really liked about the place was that there were swing seats, how cool is that!!“

“Your cafe environment was great. Your coffee, smoothies, and food menu was amazing. Coming from Philadelphia area, and seeing other privately owned coffee shops around there, I’d say you guys are on par with the rest of them, and doing a great job! I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in state college!“

“Cheese shoppe is the coolest cafe in State College. The owners are nice, all the baristas are social and happy to talk. The coffee is old-school which is a plus for me, and they regularly roast in house so you get to be there to see that as well. I wish they'd have more outdoor seating, but space is an issue so I get it.“

“The service is wonderful, the workers are sweethearts, and the atmosphere is idea for working. There are comfortable chairs, tables, and pleasant music in the background. It is the best coffee shop and recommend it for anything looking for a new setting to get some work done.“

“its a cute little place. a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth it i'd say. staff is friendly, menu could use an update though.Parking: parking lot is very small and usually full, and often times during the week most parking meters are used too. its likely youll need to park further away and walk a bit, but its not horrible. there are plenty of places to park within walking distance.“

“A friend of mine introduced me to this place and I've gotta say, it's amazing. You can socialize, study, and a few things more here. Plus, they've got some good food and drinks here. An amazing hidden gem among downtown areas.“
