“My friend and I came across this lovely winery while out and about for New Year’s Eve (2024). We snagged a seat at the bar. Andrew was a great server, Very friendly and personable. I would like to come back for their cuisine, however they have an array of a wine list! I tried a few from dry to sweet and processed to ask questions, they’re extremely knowledgeable and proceeded to even look for an ice wine for me just by mentioning it. so far my favorite would be the house rosé. (and I don’t usually like the dryer side). Thank you for this experience, I am looking forward to many more and happy new year!“

“It’s so enjoyable hopping off a train from Philly and walking across the street towards a quaint town and welcoming restaurant. Their food is consistently fresh, seasonal and delicious. Excellent, friendly, down to earth servers and staff. Such a good vibe, even in the middle of the day. Perfect place to meet friends in the suburbs if coming from center city. Great atmosphere, fireplace in the winter and outdoor seating in summer. Highly recommend!“

“Opted for a spontaneous visit to Bar Jawn with a friend and his client, seeking a quick lunch fix with a must-have cheesesteak recommendation near Ardmore.Amidst the rain and our lack of reservation, the staff kindly accommodated us, offering seats at their communal table. While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. Just a friendly heads-up for others: don't hesitate to speak up if your meal isn't quite right.“

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

They are twice the size of any other wings that I've eaten.. even if you bought them at the market and made them yourself. “As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

“I traveled from Atlanta to Union Steaks, and it was worth it! Perfectly located by the Philadelphia United arena, the cheese steaks are among the best in the area. Great service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted.As you walk in, it can be a little disorienting with so much going on but as you begin to take it in you see how important the local hero’s are. These guys care about the men and women who serve our country. The staff greeted me warmly and when they discovered it was my first time they spent time walking me through the whole menu and explaining the style of food. A gentleman gave me a coupon for a free sandwich as a gift for my first time.I ordered the pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Amazing. Man did it hit! They have lemonade and sweet tea, but I mixed it half and half and my gosh. The food was literally some of the best I had. I used the mission belle and smokehouse sauce. They offer 6 hot sauces on the table. Lisa was cleaning and serving the table, she helped me so much, was very attentive, and cleaned up the table for us. I was taken back.Lisa then offered me a free dessert as a first time visitor. I’ll truly never forget the service and food and can’t wait to bring my family back.I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I had the best time and it was money well spent. “When I booked my reservation, I didn’t realize it was a hotel. I won’t lie when I say I was apprehensive when I pulled up; hotel restaurants can be very hit and miss. My worries washed away once I got outside and sat down. The outdoor patio is very nice, and the inside looked good too. But on to the best parts. Cheesesteak eggrolls were fantastic as was the chicken parm baguette. Good portion sizes. The best part though? The service. Our server was Branden and he was nothing short of great. Polite, communicative, funny and just seemed like an all around great person. If he is any indication, then I’m sure all of the staff are great. Definitely will go back and I hope the second time is just as good as the first.“

“They are a very beautiful family own place. They are of the Muslim faith, but very well versed and educated in all faiths and manners of life. The best part of the wings! Spicy garlic parmesan is one of my favorites but they have a lot of sauces and other foods to like wraps and platters you would have to just look up the menu. They also have a seafood place and they just open next door I'm not sure the name of it but from what people say it's just as good and you can see the miriam, Samuel, or Islam. Their mother I just called Mama. Every time I go in there it's an interesting conversation had and if you are Muslim say a prayer being played on the TV with the translation from Arabic to English“

“Normally, my boyfriend and I go to Ridley House to eat. The staff are always awesome and the food is always good. Tonight we were exhausted and decided to order through door dash. I ordered the Caeser salad with chicken however, there was no chicken when my food arrived. I tried to call the door dash driver but he didn't speak English and didn't understand what I was saying. I called Ridley House and spoke to the manager, Patrick, because I was initially going to pick up the chicken. Patrick went above and beyond and had a whole salad with chicken delivered to my house for me. Exceptional customer service and we even got complimentary dessert. I tried to tip the gentleman who brought the food but he wouldn't accept it. They were very professional and just all around awesome! Thank you Patrick for being an amazing manager! If I could give 10 stars I would! I highly recommend Ridley House.“

We sat outside and had lamb meatballs, tuna tataki and their soup of the day which was a creamy asparagus soup... all were delicious, especially the lamb meatballs. Great Mediterranean flavors with 3 different sauces that all hit perfectly. Entrees were a smash burger (two patties), the two fourteen burger, which was huge and the kimchi fried rice with grilled chicken, which had a great spice to it. “Chicken nachos and mahi tacos were out of this world delicious and the presentation beautiful. We bought tickets for a show and reserved a table to eat before hand. Our server was on top of everything and we stayed until they closed. Bathroom was supplied beautifully for anything a lady could need in an emergency while out. Impeccably clean, as well. It is a venue we will definitely be coming back to. We even had our 11 year old with us and the atmosphere was polite and excited, not rambunctious and uncomfortable for a child to be in attendance. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up.
