5 Best Dive Bars near Ronks

“We were2 senior couples looking for a local bar to have a few drinks before we headed back to our hotel. From the outside, one would might have a modicum of concern before entering.. but we were up for some fun. And that exactly what we found. There was a dart game in progress and the pool table was busy with some locals. We were welcomed by PJ, an absolute lovely local who has been serving drinks here since 2017. The drinks were cold and generous, the conversation delightful and the welcome sincere! The walls are covered with license plates from all over as well as some snappy sayings and the ceilings COVERED with dollar bills signed by patrons over the years ! While we didn't eat , the locals said its one of the best places around, with Vic, the owner shopping all the local markets every day for his supplies. You wont be disappointed if you stop in here .. and if you are lucky enough o be served by PJ , tell her you came because you read this review !“

“We love the Lancaster area in the summer and this was our first time in the Strasburg area. The location of the Barn in Strasburg is perfect with many attractions within minutes away, and a short driving distance to Bird in Hand, Intercourse and other amenities. We stayed in the Master Suite which was wonderful, but did get a chance to see the other rooms which were also beautiful. Breakfast was great every morning and Gina makes sure there are always snacks and beverages available in the well stocked common kitchen area where breakfast is served. My wife and I have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts in the area but by far the Barn In Strasburg hosted by Gina is our favorite and we will be back. We highly recommend it. “Just a good hometown bar. Great prices. If you don't like smoke you may want to stay away. Some great staff members help to make this place. Bar menu for food, pool tables, plenty of stools around the bar. Unfortunately they are Steelers fans tho, oy.“

“Absolutely love this bar. One of few I'll even venture out to. The people are great, the bartender makes the perfect drinks (personally I prefer trash cans and long islands), and I always find new and great friends to shoot darts with.“

“owners are cool, bar staff is excellent, regulars are nice, vibe is homey and chill. karaoke on fridays gets loud and crowded with more of a lively party atmosphere and almost too many people, but isn't that kind of what you want on a friday night?my only complaint is the cigarette smoke can be a bit overwhelming when it's crowded.“
