“A little crowded and unorganized but the coffee is hot and flavorful. No need for sugar just cream, please. Parking lot is often a mess coming in and out in the mornings and afternoon bit only 4 min walk from my apt.. Coffee is good, processed foods, not so much.“

“I have enjoyed this place since it opened! The staff is magnificent. They are personable and take care of you! The atmosphere is wonderful. It is a wood decor. There is not a lot of seating inside, but there is ample seating outside. There is a good size parking lot (approximately 15 spots) and more parking right out front. The food and coffee is wonderful! The lattes are not extremely sweet of the syrups I get. This is a preference of mine real and strong coffee locally roasted!“

“Really a unique experience. Food was amazing and fresh. Happy to see someone willing to take a risk with their food and not open a restaurant that's just like every other place in the area. There are plenty of pizza places around and they all serve the same restaurant depot food. Steel Penny is top notch!“

“I've tried Top Hat Coffee Lounge by the UPenn campus, but I'm glad I discovered this new location! It's definitely hidden within a plaza and is situated within the walkway as you exit Saks Fifth Avenue. While the space is small, there is still plenty to order in terms of drinks and several pastries as well. The staff greeted us with a very warm welcome and was patient while we decided on our drinks. My friend and I both ordered oat matcha lattes, which were delicious and tasted like high-quality matcha as we were told :) The added perk is that he did not charge us for substituting our milk with oat milk, so thank you for that!“

“Decided to travel here for an impromptu late lunch last Tuesday. We've been here before because The Landing Kitchen offers so much more than great food and beverage selections. It also is home to such an accessible space overlooking the Schuylkill (skoo-kill) River. It sits across from Manayunk and can be accessed by walking bridge that spans the river. There are walking paths along the river and at The Landing Kitchen outdoor space there is a bocce court, ping pong table, corn hole, a giant Connect 4 game and other items. There is protected dining outside and also propane heaters and a fire pit strategically located. Back to food, my wife enjoyed their signature chicken sandwich and I opted for a bowl of outstanding Chorizo Corn Chowder and the TLK Burger. Chased it down with a Workforce IPA from King of Prussia and it too was an outstanding IPA. The Landing Kitchen also offers wine and cocktails, along with various coffee offerings as well. In season it really gets crazy busy, so now is a great time to pay a visit. They do breakfast sandwiches and other offerings as well. Salads and sides are equally satisfying. Cheers.Vegetarian options: I noticed a number of items that would be the perfect option. Simply check out the changing menu online.Parking: There is a small lot and there is the much larger lot that also services The Landing Kitchen, its more refined sister restaurant, LARK (that sits on the top floor of The Residence Inn that is all part of the complex). We have also dined at Lark while staying at the Residence Inn. It's a win-win.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor games, walking paths and the bridge across to Manayunk which features protected walking lanes. The bridge is basically used by cyclists.Wheelchair accessibility: Getting into inside seating is accessible. To go outdoors I believe you have to go back outside and simply swing around the corner of TLK to the riverside of the property to the outdoor seating and activity area.“

“I chose to have a few dishes catered by Simply Delicious for my Easter dinner and everything was great. Scalloped potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, and a beautiful salad topped with fresh fruit and more. My guests raved about the food! Tina was wonderful to work with. She was also able to make these wonderful dishes gluten free so our guests with dietary restrictions could enjoy them. I will definitely be back! Thank you Tina!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available“

“I initially thought Platform Z was a bit of a strange name for a poke place, but once arriving it was immediately obvious that the name was due to the fact that this place is inside of a cute little train station! The service here was absolutely outstanding. The staff who were present the night we went for date night were very kind, patient, and eager to help with menial tasks like even giving us a bag as we were walking out the door. The kitchen area itself was very clean and all of the food was fresh. The lighting in the restaurant itself was a little bit lacking in terms of atmosphere, but I don’t really fault this place for not having absolutely perfect feng shui. The food here was really good! The portion sizes on the poke bowls are honestly massive, easily enough for 3 meals. The boba in the boba tea was a little undercooked, but nothing to complain about. The miso soup here specifically was easily the standout out of everything we ordered, I don’t think I’ve had miso soup that good in months.Whether you’re just passing thru on your commute to work or you’re coming here for a date, I highly recommend!“

“I know this is a coffee shop but don’t sleep on the toasties! Look at that cheese pull. Immaculate, much like the cleanliness level of the shop. The guys that work there are all real stand-up dudes. But definitely get a toastie.Kid-friendliness: Just don’t be obnoxious and bring your entire stroller inside. There’s not room for that. Don’t lie to yourself for the sake of convenience. “I am declaring Founded Pizza's Caprese Pizza a culinary masterpiece blending fresh greens, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil on a perfectly crispy crust. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, elevated by a delicate balsamic glaze. It’s surprising to find such commitment to quality and attention to detail in a local pizza joint, but Founded Pizza offers an exceptional selection that will leave me craving for more. We’re lucky to have a Pizza restaurant offering this level of quality in East Falls.“

“This is really the best cafe one can find. Amazing selection of delicious sandwiches u can’t find anywhere. Easily 50 or may be a hundred of options. And they will customize it based on your taste. No wonders once u tried their food u keep coming back because nothing comes close.“
“This is my first time here, and I adore the interior and cozy atmosphere. The croissants were incredibly freshly baked and delicious. The selection of hot and cold drinks is impressive. I plan to revisit this bakery regularly (but bringing my reusable cups if there's an option to use them). The only thing I would like to suggest is using regular ceramic or glass cups. I was quite disappointed to see single-use cups exclusively.“

“The food is so good. This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back regularly. The restaurant is larger than it looks from outside, there is plenty of seating and parking was not a problem. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and the baklava cheesecake. “Start off by saying I got a parking ticket because Ambler doesn’t know how to draw lines for parking spots. Besides that, this place has one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had! “The crepes are great, and there are plenty of good vegetarian savory options, especially looking at the build your own option. The side salad is a highlight! We also tried the French toast crepe, which has an egg incorporated into the batter. Interesting. The espresso is good but the cappuccino is weird; they don't pour the milk through the crema at all, so it's mostly foam on top of a single shot. It can be folded through but I think next time I'd just get an espresso here. I really like that they have reusable cutlery and crockery, and service is brisk even when they're crowded. They also have a bunch of pastries if you're looking to grab and go. No parking lot but free street parking up to two hours. Friendly staff.“

“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful coffee offerings from Coffee Malem at a few events, and I must say, everytime it was the highlight of the event. Amro was not only skilled in his craft but also incredibly friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the coffee was exceptional, with a rich and robust flavor that satisfied even the most discerning coffee enthusiasts. The convenience of having a well-equipped coffee cart at the event added to the overall enjoyment, making it easy for attendees to grab a superb cup of coffee on the go. I highly recommend Coffee Malem for any event seeking a perfect blend of professionalism, friendliness, and, of course, outstanding coffee.“

“Great locally owned coffee and plant shop! Seating is limited in the main area near all the plants, however, there is an upstairs with more seating but limited wall-plug space for charging devices if you plan on staying for a while. Coffee was also a bit pricy for the quality of the coffee.“

“My wife, adult daughter and I visited for the first time today. As Francophones and French speakers, we were pleasantly surprised to hear some of the staff speaking French and how authentic this place is.The food, while slightly pricey, is WELL worth the trip. Haven't had a croissant that good since the last time we were in Paris. And the eggs were amazing - perfectly savory.Only negative is the tight squeeze. Recommend you only go with one other person, as all the tables are 2-tops. Chances of seating 3 or more people together, like us, was a challenge on a busy Friday. We were squeezed, for surePerfect place to go on a cold Sunday morning, pulling up a table for coffee and brunch.Parking: This place only seats about 25 people. No parking lot available, but street parking was ample at noon on a busy Friday“

“Found this little place while visiting an in-law, and I can't wait to come back! It was a very homey vibe...cute & comfy. There were two employees behind the counter (one appeared to be new, but awesome) who were HUSTLING to manage the rush that arrived just after my husband and I ordered. They remained patient, communicative, efficient and avoided cross contamination, which means a lot to me. I watched them consistently change gloves between handling different orders, even while preparing 8 different tickets. That alone was enough to sell me on this place. Now, our orders... I had the avocado toast with egg & tomato. It wasn't the best, but it was reasonably priced, and well prepared. My husband had the cinnamon bun waffles... he's a sweets lover, and he was very happy that the waffle wasn't overly crispy. The icing on top was the perfect touch. He also had an iced matcha latte, which was (surprisingly) blended. He loved it! If it wasn't for the rush of customers, he would've gotten another one to take home. I had an iced dirty chai latte--it was the perfect mix of spiced chai and bold coffee. Maybe one of the best that I've tasted.“

“Enjoyed a lovely solo breakfast at this location of the Turning Point franchise. After deciding to forego a visit to another nearby breakfast place, my trusty GPS and a quick scan of yelp led me to this gem, nestled at one end of the inviting Shops at Valley Square shopping center. Absolutely no complaints from my first visit: The staff was pleasant, welcoming and accommodating; food was on point-tasty and prepared as ordered-I especially liked the light and fluffy pancakes and the bright and tangy salad greens; atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. “I'm right around the corner and hadn't been aware of this new addition to our area last year. As the owner advised me, evident by his discernment to details, they've been open about 6months now in the heart of Mayfair.I had to wait longer than I'd expected for my ordered pickup. But considering the wait was due to the size of my unexpected order needing to finish baking..... well, there's never been a better reason given to wait than food being made fresh.I hope the local commerce groups get him involved in the community, and this young owner has just started a new landmark on pastries in the area that surely has a glass ceiling on acceptance, if my opinion is asked.Lol, but that's just, "One man's opinion. ".....said this local grandmom.Dietary restrictions: Aside from what's obvious by the menu, the fact that the owner is on site, caring about the finished product and the customer, I daresay, if there's any restrictions that are not as easy as not getting the allergy or other self-imposed eating restriction, a conversation regarding what you are specifically requesting, would not be a problem to at least request.Kid-friendliness: 0-109 ... who doesn't love a fresh doughnut?“
