“This was our first time at The Downtown, but it won't be our last.

The restaurant was clean and well laid out and decorated for Christmas. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly.

Our server, Bryce, was great. Attentive, friendly, and efficient.

Our drinks came quickly. My wife's cranberry margarita was especially delightful.

The food was excellent. It came timely, but not in a rush. We got the tots appetizer, which was really tasty - the beer cheese in particular. My wife got the French dip, with real roast beef, not just cold cuts. I got the Kinda Healthy salad (with a cheeseburger on top!), which was really great.

Overall this is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. There were people at the bar watching the game and families with kids in the dining area, making for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: There were several families with kids when we were there, having a fun time. Definitely fine for kids.”

“We ordered sushi, soup, dumplings and the mango kani salad. Literally everything was amazing. My husband says it was the absolute best dumplings he’s ever had. Sushi was super fresh. Salad was light yet flavorful, great side dish with sushi.

We went on a Friday evening and it was VERY busy. I understand it’s a casual eatery but it needs to be more inviting when you walk in. If you’ve never been there, it’s super confusing to figure out the flow and how to order your food. We just sat down and waited for someone to take care of us. Waited about 15 minutes. But we once we were served, we were well taken care of and food came out fast.

We heard a lot of the take out orders saying they had been waiting for over an hour for their food. So clearly a better system is needed to balance the way orders are being taken care of.

But GREAT food! I would just recommend you sit down and eat in. You’ll get your hunger satisfied faster than take out.”

“I love the remodel. It is so bright and clean. Service was wonderful as always and of course our bowls were yummy. I personally love the Aloha bowl. The avocado toast is my second favorite. Can't wait to go back. I am never disappointed.”

“To be honest, I’ve never had Thai food prior to coming to Mae Ploy. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff went way beyond to explain the variations they could provide for food allergies and what a novice like me should try. I’m not one to write a review unless I’ve had a great experience, and that I did. I am looking forward to returning!”

“We've been to Outback numerous times, but I wanted to comment on the superior service that Jay provided us tonight. He was personable, and attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with the food. He was very busy but I noticed he provided time and courtesy to all the tables around us. It makes dinner much more enjoyable when people are nice and the food is good.”

“I have been to Bob’s place three times in the last month. I find it very inviting the bartender is fun and right on top of things and they have a blender that works! My mango margarita was delicious and Thursday night is trivia night, food and drink specials!,It is so fun and they told me Friday night is karaoke didn’t try that yet! They re Under new management, and I wish him the best! Sarah is very sweet and cute bartender!”

“Ours was a take out order, for a party of 15. We ordered Lamb chops, Mutton biriyani and butter chicken. Everything was lip smacking, finger licking good!”

“Giovanni's is one of the only places around that is consistently good. The pizza is always amazing. Whenever we are trying to decide where to go as a family of 7, Giovannis always wins out. It's the only place we can name that everyone is happy with. In the summer, some of out best days are ordering a few pizzas or hoagies to take to Nine Oaks Pool.”

“Super friendly staff. Huge menu which clearly identifies food allergens. They were able to safely accommodate our celiac daughter with ice cream cone choices as well!!! At 11 she had her very first gluten free sugar cone.”

“I’m a person who travels for sweets & someone told me about this place, which is like an hour and a half from where I live, but I figured I’d give it a try and let me tell you I was not disappointed in the ice cream is probably one of the best I’ve ever had it’s creamy you can taste every ingredient that is just made perfectly. I highly really recommend this place not only that I happened to lockout going on the day that they had chase and Skye from paw patrol there which was perfect for my twin. Five year olds. Service is amazing. It was really busy but the way they work there’s really no wait time. Amazing place.”

“Corropolese is one of the best bakeries in the area and their Italian delights are incredibly good! The tomato pie is definitely the best in the area! I'm not sure if it's the tasty dough or the sweeter tomato sauce, but it is amazing and hard not to eat in a single sitting. The sticky buns, other breads, sandwiches and pizzas are just so good. Treat yourself! Your stomach will love you for it! 😋”

“Java’s brewin is amazing! We go every weekend to get iced lattes and sandwiches. The staff and owners are so friendly. It’s great to have a plan to bring my son that feels welcoming and kid friendly!”

“Worst take out experience ever. Ordered two corned beef specials to go, requested the chips go inti a separate box so as not to get soggy next to the sandwiches. At pickup, they put the chips on with the sandwich. Requested it be put in a separate box, got attitude from waitress. I gave up paid and left. The cole slaw tasted like vinegar, the corned beef tasted stale as if not freshly sliced. It all went to garbage disposal. NEVER again.”

“May 18, 2024 eight of us decided to travel to Texas roadhouse about a 45 minute drive .We arrived to a rather full parking lot, thankfully, we called ahead and made reservations. We had about an extra 10 minute wait when we arrived, which was fantastic. The place was very busy. We expected slow service. However we were all surprised of how quickly the food came out. upon eating, The manager came to our table to see how everything was . we said it was great Upon then, we learned that our waiter Tyler!! it was his first time serving a large party of eight he did a phenomenal job!! Kudos to him! He was very tentative to detail!!”

“Love this place! Food is fresh & made to order. Our favorite is the massaman curry. Comes out in a bowl on top of a warming candle to keep it piping hot. The pineapple fried rice is also excellent. We have had many of the appetizers. All very good. My favorite is the chicken satay. Best peanut sauce I've had!!”

“My husband and I both think they have the best chicken parm. I am obsessed with their penne pasta with vodka sauce!!! Sometimes I get the vodka sauce on my chicken parm as well. The lemon cake is a must have dessert! George and his team have Been working all through the pandemic making sure the community could count on them! So many restaurants ended up closing down and we are so glad that Piazza Presto was able to make it through. The food is always Fresh and delicious. Great place for a date night or with the family. It is BYOB which is nice since you can pack your own favorites and saves a lot too!”

“We had Penny's pizza and the K-sauce wings today. Both were delicious! The food was ready on time for pick-up, and the service was great. Penny's pizza is unique with the sweet sauce on top of the cheese, and the cornmeal on the crust. You are missing something special if you haven't tried it yet.”

“I recently went here and ordered the 911 cheesesteak. It was the best tasting cheesesteak i have ever eaten. The server was very nice. The overall atmosphere of the place was great. There was
a lot of cool philly sports related items.

Parking: There is a lot of parking right in front.”

“This is one of those "hole-in-the-wall" places that are mainly set up for take out orders. Although they do have a few tables for dining in, I don't think they have wait service. ? (That's just my opinion because it's not that type of restaurant with the ambiance. The tables are there more for if you'd rather sit there to eat your food, IMO)... I really love their scallion pancakes as an appetizer as well as their General Tso's, Chicken in Garlic Sauce, and Mu Shu Pork! ? I feel like a Chinese food conoiseur and this is the only place that I will order from. Moved to a neighboring area over 12 years ago and I've tried every single Chinese place over the years. This is the only one I go to now and I will drive out of my way to order from here! ?”

“Met up there with a friend for the first time last week… and WOW. I ordered the Bus Driver latte and got it iced. Everything I’ve looked for in an iced coffee was met perfectly. I have dreamt about it every day since and cannot wait to get back in there and order another! Ladies at the counter were also super friendly. 10/10 will be going back!”

“The food was incredible, especially for the area. We ordered a bit of everything and our favorite was the sushi, really great quality. The service was ok, our waiter seemed rushed. It was our first time there so we were not familiar with the menu. Instead of helping us he walked away and said “I’ll give you more time”. Not a big deal but it would have been helpful. Overall the hot plates had good flavor and the portions were ok. A bit on the higher price range for Chinese food but the quality was worth it. The only thing we did not like was the wonton soup, the portions were two small and not meant to be shared like in most Asian restaurants. Overall I would recommend to visit and try their Chow Fun and sushi which were our favorites.

“My family and friends enjoyed getting together last night at Lost Planet. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach - which was delicious. We also shared a big Bavarian pretzel which was served with yummy beer cheese. We stayed for a couple hours, sipping on craft cocktails and beer while enjoying some fantastic live music. The service and ambiance was great. This is truly a hidden gem in Royersford. We will be back.”
