When people start plotting next year’s ride, I’m telling them to bypass Rutters/Sheetz/Royal Farms and get some delicious real food!”

“My husband and I have been a few times, and this past time we had the pleasure of our cook being Jacob. He came out as a break, and we expressed how great the food was and how flavorful it is and every single thing on the menu literally is fantastic especially the French onion soup with the beef tenderloin, and my husband had the duck on the appetizers which he says was fantastic and for entrées I've had the crabcakes And my husband has had the scallops again. Everything hears fantastic. The service is great but I would recommend a reservation, but this is our favorite restaurant in Waynesboro or Chambersburg. He was so kind as to thank us for being there he gave us a quart of free chili, and that again fantastic!! Thank you, and we will be regulars lol but serious!!! I wish I had photos to add, but it really doesn't matter because it would not even do it justice. You have to try the food, and I have read one of the reviews where it said the food was bland, and that they would not be back which is outrageous and I think just maybe they were, having a bad day because the food here is like I said wonderful & is VERY flavorful!!!”

“I ordered carry-out from here a couple days ago for the first time. Got the aji de gallina, my go-to order at any Peruvian restaurant. It was SO salty. Like all I could taste was salt. I was like “okay, that obviously isn’t right. Maybe I just ordered on a bad day”. So I just ordered again today. I got the arroz chaufa with shrimp. Now that was tasty, and look at the huge portion! I have enough leftover for another meal, maybe two! I’m glad I gave this place another shot. I’ll definitely try the aji de gallina again later, maybe next week”

“At here on a Friday night. They were busy fast service. Excellent pub burger, loaded fries, fish and chips are were perfectly prepared. Chipotle ranch is a must with the fries. Awesome French onion soup. Perfectly poured black and tan. More than one high chair for children would be my only add.”

Was only disappointed with the chicken or their other food is excellent still other than they switched to real potatoes to instant potatoes so next time I will get a baked potato.”

“I read a review for this little place and didn’t feel like cooking for the crew tonight- so I ordered a feast “to go” thinking there would be leftovers- two little sauce packets were all that was left, after hiking, bowling and soccer games the family demolished everything in the to go containers-and there was a lot-very tasty, very nice staff-metered parking right on Main Street right outside the restaurant, affordable dinner for a family our size on the run- we will be back, thank you!Second visit back for lunch - chicken tacos just as good as the first visit!”

“The Milky Way is what you expect a small-town restaurant to be. No more no aless. That said, it is a great place to eat and to people watch. Most of the folks at the Milky Way are from the area, but when I say the area, I mean 20-30-mile radius of Fort Loudoun. The food here is above average. Most people coming to the restaurant order more than the food (e.g. ice cream, shakes, etc.). The prices are reasonable albeit a little higher than last year but that is to be expected with inflation and all. When you go to the counter, your server (mostly young girls) will take your order and deliver it to your table personally. That is a nice touch. It is a place we go out of our way to go to because it is a throw-back place. It has been the same since it opened (the 70's?). I hope that it continues to stay open for many years.”

“If you like/love Mexican food, you will not be disappointed. I’ve eaten here twice in 3 days. First I had the Birria Tacos and then I had the Alambre and Barbacoa Tocos. That green sauce is spot on and has a nice little kick. I will be going back a couple more times before leaving!Parking: The free parking is down the road at the near by plaza but it’s not far at all. There is also metered parking on the street.”

It was my mom's favorite back when she still lived around here 15 years ago back when I was in highschool we would stop in their old location down the street.Now, I'll drag my partner out just to get coffee from this place and we come from Needmore! But, I'm just sentimental like that too.
