“The Lakeview Restaurant knows how to do meals right. Their menu features creative selections, and the chef handles each ingredient with finesse and a light touch. I especially appreciate that they offer half portions of pasta—a thoughtful option for those who want to sample more than one dish.

The house-made spinach pappardelle with English peas, asparagus, zucchini, and wild ramp pesto was absolutely delicious. And the La Belle Farms duck breasts? Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection.

Of course, exceptional food is only part of the dining experience—stellar service truly brings it all together. A huge shout-out to Carolyn and Ashanty for their warmth and attentiveness. They made our evening not just enjoyable, but genuinely memorable. We felt celebrated from start to finish.”

“Les is a wizard with a cocktail shaker. This is a wonderful way to wind down the evening. Amazing atmosphere. They're one of a kind drinks are top notch and I have never been disappointed. The sign of an amazing bartender is when you have no idea what you want but they make you exactly what you never knew you craved.”

“During our stay at the Skytop Lodge we had two breakfasts and two dinners in the Windsor room. One breakfast was on the weekend and was a buffet, one we ordered from the menu. Both were great. The buffet was much above average. We had huevos rancheros, potatoes, sausage, smoked salmon, and fresh fruit. The morning we ordered from the menu we had the caprese omelet and the South porch breakfast. The omelet was a little over cooked, but that’s being picky. The flavors were well balanced. For dinners we had the duck duo, pork prime rib, rack of elk, and short rib pappardelle. Words cannot describe how these meals were prepared, the flavors, fats, acids, and spices were all balanced and the presentations were perfect. For appetizers we had the mussels, bison chorizo crostini, and the crab stuffed mushrooms. Again all of the flavors were outstanding. We had no dishes that we didn’t like.”

From the moment you approach the main lodge, you are transported. It looks exactly like a fairytale castle or a grand, private hunting chateau has popped up in the Pennsylvania mountains! ​The architecture is absolutely magnificent. The rough-hewn stone exterior, beautifully contrasted with the vibrant red ivy in the fall (as seen in my photos), evokes a powerful sense of history. The grand stone facade, rooted in the Dutch Colonial Revival style of the 1920s, instantly reminded me of a European castle—it truly is a stunning landmark. ​The interiors are just as impressive. The grand lobbies, with their beautiful wood paneling, towering arched windows, and cozy fireplaces, have the warm, elegant feel of an exclusive old-world club. Sunlight streaming through those enormous windows is a sight you have to see in person! ​Opened in 1928, this Historic Hotel of America sits on 5,500 acres of meticulously designed grounds—planned by the legendary Olmsted Brothers. Whether you are enjoying a round on the historic golf course, relaxing by the enormous fireplace, or exploring the extensive acreage, Skytop offers an atmosphere of timeless tradition and unmatched beauty. ​If you are looking for a getaway where elegance, history, and natural grandeur meet, Skytop Lodge is an absolute must-visit. It completely blew my mind and is a true gem of the Poconos!”

“This restaurant is amazing. Not only is the food beyond delicious but the service is the BEST!! I had a last minute event and needed to feed about 20 people within 3 hours. Seafood Haven went above and beyond to help me out with a catering order. The food was excellent and my guests couldn’t stop raving about how flavorful and tasty the food was. Not only will you taste the love in every bite but I felt the love they have for their customers.”

“Fabulous find. Great authentic food - made to order. It's not fast food, so be patient. The beet soup (borscht) with mushroom dumplings was great. Lech, the owner can out and spoke with us for a bit. Was there in September and will be back again soon. Not to be missed in Greentown / Ledgedale / Lake Wallenpaupack area just a few min off I 84.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at The French Manor. The food served for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view from the top of the hill is really scenic. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the Venice room. It was nicely decorated, but the bathroom would benefit from some updates with the plumbing (water can be forceful at times since it is well water). I would recommend staying in the spa suites as they looked more modern. The spa was very relaxing, and all guests have free access to the sauna and saltwater pool.”

I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this deliciousness all these years I’ve lived here. Now I can’t wait to check their FB to see the special’s. The food was exactly what we needed, so good, the staff was so friendly and accommodating of our bigger party, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They put our leftover wedding cake in the fridge and brought it out for us after we finished our scrapple. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality!”

“We ordered fried calamari for an appetizer it was cooked perfectly! Since it was our fist time here we decided to try the Mamma Maria’s Special pizza which was delicious and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings!!! We also ordered a chicken cheese steak with peppers onions and mushrooms had amazing flavor! Last we got two cannolis to go and they were the best cannolis we’ve ever had. Great service and food came out fast! We were only in the area for the weekend if we are to ever return to the area we would definitely come back here again!!”

“Went in to break Passover with a Bacon Cheeseburger (hey, we all have our own traditions, right? 😀). I ordered the Renegade Burger—and got waaay more than I bargained for. This thing was HUGE...and DELICIOUS! I barely made a dent and took home enough for at least another meal. Very welcoming crowd, and I definitely would go back again (but next time I'd order a smaller burger!)”

“Delicious pho. Best in NEPA. Very fresh and the broth was exceptional. They even had real fish sauce instead of the sweet chili lime fish sauce other pho restaurants try to pass off on the uninitiated around here.
