“Ordered YaYa's tonight and it was delicious. Plain pizza - steak hoagie and wings (yes the wings are pricey but they are everywhere) the garlic parm and honey bbq wings were great! Crunchy and not to much sauce. Pizza was perfect thickness and crust is even good it's like seasoned. Bread on hoagie wasn't soggy and the actually give you enough meat. Give YaYa's a try!“
“I don't live in the area, but I decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad I did! The store employees were super friendly and the order of wings and pizzas were ready very fast. The wings were full of flavor -- garlic parmesian wings were savory and the the teriyaki wings were like candy they were so good. The pizza was great. What was probably most notable was the crust -- it had a nice firm outside but soft and fresh in the inside. They put mushrooms in my order by mistake, but I just decided to remove them by hand since we live far away and I didn't feel like creating a fuss. The cheese blend is also very nice.Beware that parking isn't particularly good -- as you'll be in and out, thus isn't the biggest problem in my opinion. In any case, if you are in the South Park area and want to reward yourself by supporting a friendly business, give this place a try!“
“Omg the food is sooo GOOD my 10 year old son and I started looking around the neighborhood to see if we could spot an apartment to rent ! No joke !! Delicious !!!!!!! Please bulld where i live.. Western NY ! Im writing to shark tank players on Twitter to INSIST they help franchise this gemstone of a restaurant ! lol. ?“
“Let me start by saying they have great pizza and their hot wings were great! The place is small so it's kinda hard to get a seat. Their also located on a cobble stone which sucks to drive and park on BUT with all of that said, people keep going there because it's good food. Great group of guys working there as well.“
“Amazing pizza! I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I had a real big craving for margherita pizza and wow! I’m a huge Mercurio fan, and I liked this even more because it was never soggy. The New York style was amazing as well, and the salad was delicious! We’ll definitely be back!“
“We recently gave this place a try after hearing good thing and were blown away by the food and service. We had meatballs and ricotta, maple Brussels, pizza, and pasta.Their chef has a meticulous focus on quality and you can taste it in every bite of goodness. We will definitely be coming back soon.“
“Easily the best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh! I'm from NY and I've been looking everywhere for the perfect slice. This is it. Ingredients are all made in-house and it shows. We just finished our order and I already can't wait to go back. I don't review much on yelp but you all need to know about this place!!!“
“Found this hidden gem today on my way to work. I had the Italian sub with chips. It was both delicious and filling. The owner is a real nice down to earth gentleman I had the pleasure of conversing with as I waited for my meal. I ended up eating the whole 1/2 sub, which is rare for me. I will be back for the Tuesday special as I was delighted to see they have Michelob ultra light on tap verses in the bottle. The waitress was also very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place ❤️“
“Pastoli's is our go-to for delivery pizza and wings, we order from them regularly. We appreciate the variety of pizzas and the wings usually come hot and well sauced. The zucchini planks are also a hit in our house. I would recommend Pastoli's to anyone looking for good pizza. Also, we've gotten their gluten free crust a few times and it's nearly indistinguishable.“
“We did takeout and this was some of the best pizza in the area. The calzone we ordered was also delicious. I was hesitant to try the cheese steak, since I love a Philly style cheese steak, but was happily surprised at how good it was. This will definitely not be our last time ordering from Crust.“
“Ordered a white pizza with tomatoes and traditional pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Both excellent pizzas for a great price. The white pizza actually had a good amount of tomato on it. That rarely happens at other pizza shops. Keep it up Pizza Al's!“
“We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“
“We used to get Bee’z all the time when we lived in PA, and it’s the worst feeling when I crave the french onion soup and I can’t get it all the way out here in Utah! I don’t think there was a single item on the menu I didn’t enjoy, but the french onion soup was seriously out of this world. I wish I could steal the recipe, haha!“
“I have had the good fortune to be a customer of Fioris for over 40 years! My ex husband worked at the Brookline location when he was a teenager and Fiori and Pepino were family friends. I have lived in several places and have tried hundreds of pizza shops in my lifetime and I can honestly say that nothing beats Fioris, not even Via Napoli at Walt Disney World! My personal recommendations are pepperoni pizza (they put the pepperoni under the cheese) and a meatball sub "my way" which simply means extra sauce and extra cheese. Thank you Fiori for coming to Pittsburgh from your beautiful country and gracing us with both your exceptional food and engaging personality...I fixa you up! ;)“
“The pizza here is absolutely delish and so is the service. Mr and a friend checked it out and split a bottle of wine. They have specials on certain days where it's like half off pizzas and I'm here for it. Can't wait to check it out again as the ambiance is top tier.“
“Our first time here and it was great! A really fantastic beer selection, for starters. The food was so much better quality than the average restaurant/pub. Comfort food can sometimes be so basic and generic but the food here was REALLY impressive, fresh, perfectly seasoned and tasty. We'd go back in a second if we didn't live so far. Oh and the service was really good! Friendly and attentive.“
“Was looking for a new place to try and have heard great things. Called and spoke with Leah, explained that it was my first time and wanted to know what she recommended. Gave me recommendations. Decided to order the meatball hoagies and the pizza bread, both were great. I wish the meatballs had extra sauce, but I'll order extra next time.“
“Country Style Pizza is still the same as it was 20yrs ago because that's how long it's been since I had it and they didn't disappoint...we had the meatball pizzone which is still fire ! The guy's working are super nice and the place is clean....it's worth the trip for dinner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???“
“DiSalla's Pizza, pizza by the slice, pizza dough great, sauce good, good toppings, I try to visit DiSalla's as often as possible I look for family-owned pizza shops all over the Pittsburgh area. Was attending a concert just a mile from DiSalla's, Pizza always consistent every time I make it there.“
“As most would, I expected to be entering an average Fox's Pizza to have an average meal. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was greeted by the friendly ( and equally as handsome) owner who literally transported me to Italy with his unmatched skills in the kitchen. Each bite was better than the previous, and I truly think this Fox's Pizza may have the best pizza in the entire world. You have to go for yourself to try this tantalizing and beautifully made pizza. I truly love the owner Matt and his endless wealth of knowledge surrounding the culinary arts. 10/10.“
“Excellent service, excellent food, and compassionate staff that reintroduce a universally paramount ingredient that seems to be difficult to come across now a days - LOVE. They love what they do, and you can taste it in their food. 10/10 definitely recommend! You can even order online for delivery or take out through their website!Vegetarian options: With this being a kosher dairy location , no meat or meat products are allowed on premises which makes this location 100% vegetarian. The devil that they use for their fresh baked breads as well as their pizza is 100% vegan with no eggs or any other deal breakers in the ingredients.“
“Go order a pizza here now! Harry’s is the best pizza in the area! We drive 20 minutes from Washington, PA (where there are plenty of pizza shops) to get this since it’s our favorite! Literally the best tasting pizza I have ever had! How can it be so good? They have the best quality ingredients, perfectly cooked crust (crunchy and on the thinner side) and also exquisite service. They also have super high quality cheese and pepperoni in addition to a seasoning that they add to boost the flavors. I can’t say enough about Harry’s!“
“POSITIVE - This is an amazing location for a variety of outdoor lifestyles both Male & Female and also kid friendly to enjoy. They host Car shows, Bike Nights, live band and many others for great photo opportunities and social media tags. The food is good and reasonably priced however it is a "CASH ONLY" business. So be sure to stop at an ATM before arriving. Alcohol is reasonably priced also. There parking lot is massive and every event I attend has been packed. So if you are tired of indoor restaurants or just want to experience a fun outdoor adventure. Tiki is the place to be.NEGATIVE - They need to have a lot more shaded seating [preferably away from the stage]. It's a hit or miss that I and as many others are forced to stand, holding and eating our food & drinks because many customers just place purses and other items on the chairs & tables like some deck chairs at some resort then take off. Due to lack of seating, events do not last very long. (2 or 3 hours) than everyone leaves standing too long.Bring Ear Plugs. Noone does a sound check and more often than not the live bands play at a volume heard across the highway for no good reason. Another reason many people only stay for 30min to an hour.Kid-friendliness: The car shows and bike nights are great events to get kids outside and marvel at historical machinery, socialize and get fresh air.Parking: Massive parking lot. Most see to understand. Every event I've attended also has been free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor location on more or less relatively flat surfaces. They do have at least 1 wheelchair accessible Porta Potty.“
“Originally tried to place a large order at recognized pizza places in the Strip and North Side but they were too busy so on a whim, tried BF. Great NY style thin and tasty (not greasy at all) pizza. Surprised everyone how good. A large barely fits through a normal sized door. I am not sure if they deliver.. their menu is pizza only as far as I could see on the chalk board sign. Def worth the trip to the South Side - next to Carmellas. Go Bennys!“
“When I saw the price of the pizza special, I figured there was no way this place could have good food. Boy, was I wrong! It's a square pie, and very very good, worth the nearly half hour drive that I have to make to get there. Their hoagies are decent as well, especially because of their fresh made bread. The owners have been really nice people, but there's a struggle when it comes to parking sometimes.“
“This is by far, the best pizza and the best calzone I’ve ever tasted. The cheese to sauce ratio was impeccable. The crust was a perfect bit of crunchy around the crust. There was NOT a single bite of pizza that was soggy - and given the moisture of the cheese and sauce the pizza had, I was floored by how perfectly cooked it was. This place is CASH ONLY and although there is sorting available, it doesn’t seem like the type of place you want to sit down and eat. Not that it’s unwelcoming, it’s just very quaint.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian pizza toppings available for personalizationParking: Plenty of parking with a bit of a walk from the lot“
“We tried Antonio’s for the first time tonight. We ordered a deep dish pizza with pepperoni and the general tso’s chicken pizza. Both pizzas looked and tasted amazing. I don’t find many places that put fried chicken on pizza, so I appreciate the unique menu items. This style and quality of food is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.“
“Pasquale's Pizzeria joins the rank of local pizza places that continue to impress. From the pepperoni roll, to the cheesy breadsticks, and the pepperoni pizza? I had a really good time eating the food I got.It came off as a greasier pizza, which was fine with me, and suited exactly what I was looking for. It came fresh, with all the effort that some of the local pizza can dish out.And they were not afraid to deliver on the pepperoni, in either of the items named for such. They'll definitely be making my list of places to route back to when I can!“
“Come for the tasty pasta, stay for the excellent service and homey vibes. My boyfriend and I love places like this. We live just down the block, and really, there isn't enough local eats that still feel a bit dressed up, even though casual wear is appropriate. We've gone twice now, and both times, our servers have been lovely. On our latest date on Thursday, our server was there to greet us and ask about beverages not a minute after we sat down. She was super attentive, very fast, and a total sweetheart. The food has some hits, but it's all up to preference. I love the cheese ravioli. My boyfriend had the steak hoagie and we both agreed that while the steak was perfectly cooked, the sauce was a bit on the sweet side for us. That said, it was well made and presented, and we still left with full bellies. Carbonara's is fast becoming a regular date spot for us, and I haven't been disappointed yet. And those portion sizes? Perfect for work lunch leftovers! Yum!“
“We decided to stop in this past Saturday on February 3rd, around 7:00. There was one patron at the bar. We had a group of three and sat at a table. The guy working was fun and personable. He let us know all about the food and helped us in making a decision. We had the dry rub Cajun wings, steak salad and pizza. Everything came out quick was totally amazing! They had a decent beer selection. I will definitely be referring people to try this place out as it was some of the best food we've had at a bar restaurant in a long time! The place is super clean also as well as the bathrooms. They did a lot of renovations in here compared to the many short-lived bars that were in this location previously.“
“I’m sure those who grew up with it think of it as their favorite, but i found it to be ok. Not bad, but not great. At least the sauce isn’t sweet like a lot of pizza in the area, but it tastes canned and not fresh. I’m reminded that pizza is like sex…when it’s good, it’s great. When it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. It wasn’t bad at all…just not great.“
“It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Definitely one of the cleanest pizza places in Pittsburgh and they have lots of seats for a great dining experience. Amazing wings and food. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.“
“The finance swears he found the best pizza place in Pittsburgh. A small hole-in-the-wall that makes pizzas to order, we got ours for take out and it was piping hot when we picked it up. Greasy, awesome topping ratio, crispy crust that folds over so you can eat it like a NY pizza! We enjoyed the pie and if we were local, I'm sure we would've been back! Great friendly neighborhood pizza joint that serves their pies fresh!“
“I live in a pizza desert (Jefferson Hills). This is the only pizza place the delivers to my house that is actually delicious. They are the only pizza place that is open late. Who wants pizza at 6:00 p.m.? Not me. The pizza is awesome. The hoagies are great. The delivery is always before the quoted time. This place checks all of my boxes, so give some extra tip to that delivery driver. pro tip- their wing-dings might be the best fried chicken anywhere!“
“Food was so so good! I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the greens & beans & sausage. Tiramisu for dinner finished me off. All made to perfection. The BYOB is such a great part of the experience. Always love to have a personable waitress. Underrated spot for such a quality meal. Will return.“
“I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy… very tasty!!I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great… Very Nice!!This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely return!!“
“I went to Anthony's for pizza but ended up ordering something else. The "pick two" offer caught my eye and was an outstanding choice. I had the chopped salad that had interesting ingredients, including pepperoni, and the server honored my request to remove the olives and replace the gorgonzola cheese with mozzarella. And it WAS chopped, which was great, because you don't have to wrestle with trying to fit large pieces in your mouth, or fuss with a knife.I also had a chicken sandwich on focaccia, but brought half of it home because the salad was more than enough. Both choices were so good; maybe next time I'll actually order the pizza!“
“This has become my absolute favorite pizza shop! I eat it more often than I probably should but it's fantastic! The thick crust is where it's at! I've never had a wait time over 25 minutes which is perfect. We call and by the time we get in the car and get there it's ready. There only 2 things I can think of that someone may not like... I don't think they deliver but I'd rather go it anyway. And my only actual complaint is the cheese. It seems it doesn't get very evenly distributed. It's thick in the middle and very sparse near the crust sometimes. But again I absolutely love this place and if you live in the Monongahela area and haven't eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and get an XL thick crust pepperoni pizza!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat level ish parking lot, no steps or curbs.“
“Excellent food and service. The room is very small but otherwise very nice.Parking: There is free public parking around the corner. Spaces were all taken but one which was very tight due to a poorly parked car. I ended up parking on the street in front of the restaurant in a slightly tight space. That's actually the most difficulty I've had parking there.“
“What a cool find! I was in town for an afternoon meeting and stopped by. I highly recommend the Odinator. Great sandwich! Be hungry! They have the best homemade chips I've ever had. The fried zucchini was on point as well. Will be back for sure!“
“This was AMAZING pizza. It is Ohio River valley style so it's served in slices with sauce in the toppings get added on after. It's definitely different from a lot of pizza places that folks have been to but the cheese is amazing, the sauce is amazing, any crust is delicious so it's the trifecta of goodness. Our only regret is that we only got two slices. Fries were delicious as well. And you can get free cheese sauce with them so it's a big star in my book for that.“
“My family & I love pizza burgh. Great customer service from ordering to delivery is terrific... Very friendly staff members. The food is always hot & delicious whenever it arrives. Can't go wrong ordering from here bc everything is yummy. Thank you...“
“Our favorite place. We come with my 1 and 4 year girls probably 3 times per month and they love it. Great for kids with a simple menu and great beer. Fair pricing and staff that cares. Last weekend I was solo-parenting and it was pouring down rain so I brought my girls up for a quick bite. I can’t recall who it was but the worker was super helpful as she could see me myself with two little ones and they brought our food to us along with drinks and helped my older daughter put her used cups in the wash bin. They clearly see the value in being a place that caters to young families and kids and if I could give 6 stars I would“
“Didn't knock my socks off, but our pizza we just had delivered was good. Medium, red sauce, sausage, mushrooms, & roasted peppers. You can see a couple of slices didn't have much on them, while a couple others were packed. The crust was fairly thin and tasty. Again - nothing to sing about, but not bad. I'd order again.“
“Great pizza and highly recommend the steak sub.The beef is fire, and they put a ton of cheese on it and this awesome tangy sauce.. all on a Mancini's hoagie roll... it's so good. Staff is friendly and create a very welcoming atmosphere :)“
“The wings were fantastically cooked. I am not a huge fan of the pizza sauce. I like a sweeter sauce, and this one had kick to it. Next time, I plan to say light on the sauce, or try one of the other options. We were part of a large group and the servers kept up with it, even though we were all over.“
“Friendly owner and staff. The food is very good as well. I'm a regular hereParking: There is a parking lot that is free to parkKid-friendliness: People bring their children in sometimes.Wheelchair accessibility: Their is a ramp. No steps to climb“
“Beautiful outside patio that has the perfect vibe. We were greeted immediately and asked for our drinks. The food was excellent and the server was attentive. I recommend stopping by this place on a beautiful summer night.Kid-friendliness: Outside patio is very kid friendly. We took our 2 week old child.Parking: Plenty of spots that share with the other half of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat level straight from the parking lot.“
“Been a customer for a year now since me and my girlfriend moved to South Park... We absolutely love this place! This is our go to take-out place for pizza, wedgies, fries, and fried Zucchini! Food is delicious and their marinara sauce is top notch!“
