“Great for a midweek date. Food is very good. I enjoyed my appetizer (the burrata --delicious and with eye appeal) more than dinner (Chicken Florentino --good but could have used some imagination). The mussels appetizer was excellent and the veal parmesan is always to perfection. Service was friendly and familiar; our server knows how to "read" her guests. The atmosphere is plain, no frills, not the type of place you want for a romantic night out; but definitely worth popping in with family and friends, or for a treat midweek.“

“Hibiscus. There’s no other place to get vegan food in West Philly. Period. The curry chickpea wrap, salmon wrap, and Jamaican tofu are my absolute favorites. All of their juices and smoothies are so fresh and delicious!! They have these new jackfruit patties that are packed with flavor and delicious curry seasoning. I’ve been coming here since middle school, and they never disappoint. It can be a little crowded in the afternoons but the food is absolutely worth it. Most people order out but I always enjoy dining in and listening to the music. Definitely come visit and try it out!Parking: Parking is good depending on the time of day you come“

We were one of the first people in shop and the selection was actually overwhelming! So many options and everything has been great so far. Although they need to update their online menu and the prices because the prices i saw on here google menu isn’t what they have in the restaurant. Might have adjusted due to inflation - understandable. but recommend to the owner to update on google menu too.“

“Buna Cafe is such a gem in the neighborhood. I’ve not had a chance to dine in yet, but their food via delivery has been outstanding. It’s always well-presented and carefully packaged, which just isn’t the case for all food deliveries. I’ve tried a number of the vegan sides, but I’ve found my groove with the veg platter, and it just makes me so happy! The shiro is amazing—smooth and creamy and so flavorful! I sometimes get it as a side in addition to the platter to have some to enjoy the next day. Definitely worth a visit or placing an order!“

The beef and tripe was okay, but I think it was missing something flavor-wise.Although the dry pepper chicken was good, I was a bit disappointed with the serving size. I think other places would give you more chicken for a similar price.
