“Gina makes the BEST rosemary cheddar scones you will ever find! All the treats in the shop are so tasty and baked with love, but the scones are outstanding! Gina and her staff are so sweet and friendly, that the “Sweets” of their Sweets on Darby name refers as much to the people as it does to the delightful pastries she bakes. Such a cute inviting shop with an amazing staff and delicious treats all wrapped up in one place❤️❤️“

“Ashley’s Cake Shoppe is the best bakery I’ve ever been to in my life. Everything is so delicious. I’ve tried 3 different desserts. Peach cobbler, strawberry crumble cheese cake and another one I can’t remember the name. I’ve never been disappointed. I promise you won’t be either.“

“I can't say enough good things about Meg and her work! She was absolutely fabulous to work with for my geeky 1950’s wedding. She was sweet, professional, and up to whatever challenge I could throw at her. From start to finish she was amazing to work with, our trial was delicious and we spent months anticipating getting to taste the amazing cake again. On our wedding day I was so excited to see our Doctor Who themed cake and cup cakes, it was more then I could have ever imagined it to be. All night people commented on the design of the cake, and once it was cut people commented on the taste. I am so glad I was able to save a few cup cakes to take home, I’m not sure we would make it a year to taste the cake again. “I placed an order for a bowtie cake which I was hoping would not be impossible to make but Tyisha did an excellent job with the design. Not to mention the moisture and flavor of the cake and fondant was superb. I will order her cakes for any occasion. Makes me eager to have potlucks at work and refer her to my friends, family and coworkers.“

“Such a great place! I went a few months ago and things were good but OH MY!! I went again today and everything was AMAZING! We were one of the first people in shop and the selection was actually overwhelming! So many options and everything has been great so far. I’m actually a vegan bakery owner myself BUT when traveling love to try other treats & I was super happy about all the treats. Also, the staff working was super friendly, helpful and just overall great to chat with. “Highly highly recommend this Black Owned Business!! You will not be disappointed!!! Best cupcakes I’ve literally ever tasted - which is saying a lot because before Kia’s I did not like cupcakes!!! I’ve tried so many flavors - even flavors I “knew” I wouldn’t like - and I still liked them! It’s wild how good Kia’s cakes are!!! Top favorites of their general cupcakes: Vanilla Oreo, Carrot cake, and Red Velvet! The cupcake specials for the holidays are amazing - and for Black History Month they did punny cupcakes that also told a story of the person that they were honoring - so sweet and important. Other foods that are there like the Iced Pound Cake and the Banana Pudding are equally as amazing as the cupcakes. Recently tried the “Irish Potatoes” which were a special for St. Patrick’s day - they have coconut in them, and I don’t like coconut - but I ate so many of Kia’s Irish Potatoes!! “Out of a lot of different places, I went this place, definitely answers to the Trinidadian culture. All their food takes me back To my trip to Kingston a bit. The oxtail was some of the best oxtail I’ve ever eaten, and they gave me a very nice size platter. The food was very affordable and I will be back.“

I'm in love with the pumpkin spice bundt cake. If you do a survey on the bottom of your receipt, you can get a free mini bundt when you purchase one. That way, you can try more flavors.“
