“What a hidden gem! Going to Rich's is like taking a step back in time and feels so homey and cozy. I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. My breakfast burrito was excellent, too, and service was fantastic.“

“I don't want to dump on Scranton, (It is after all a depressed coal belt city) and I was only there for a few hours. In my limited experience with "The Electric City," this is far and away the best thing about it. Great service, great chili dogs, and if you're passing by on RT 81 or 476, a fairly easy detour to make if you're a Hot Dog aficionado, or maybe just Scranton Curious. Ask for directions to Schrute's Beet Farm B&B and the Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. tour. ;)“

“Found this little gem when my husband was working in the area. I picked it based on the reviews and so glad I did. The place was hopping with customers and the bartenders did a fantastic job of keeping the drinks full.The owner helped us find a seat as soon as we walked in and the service from that point on was incredible! The young female bartender reminded me of myself in the “old days”. She had lots of energy to match the atmosphere and was speedy with your next beverage, served with a big smile.We each got wings and shared the garbage fries, which was all delicious!! “We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table had crab cakes, grilled chicken, fried chicken and a seafood platter. The crab cakes were delicious and I believe better than some of our higher end restaurants.On another visit we had the lobster special and liver platter. The lobster is steamed perfectly and delicious. The liver was covered in onions and bacon along with a brown gravy.Great comfort food at any time of day.“

I was told that they have very good buffalo wings so I ordered some. They have the best wings in town. My friend asked me to try a bite of her plate and I did and it was super good. “I can only tell you about my experience at the bar because I've never sat at a table for dinner. Food is excellent. I had chicken Parm last night which was fantastic. The red sauce is delicious. Not too sweet like some places. Bartender is awesome. Very attentive. Good selection or top shelf bourbon and nice wines. On the downside, it's expensive, and during the week it's pretty dead. Most definitely go there for the food not the bar experience.“

“We ate at Keystone Restaurant and ordered the meatloaf from Mothers Kitchen. One of the best meals I’ve had here. The mashed potatoes and gravy was nice and creamy and the meatloaf was a big portion and had a great savory and sweet taste. The chef came out and even spoke with us, telling us other meals to try when we come back. I will definitely be back not only bc of the food bust bc of how nice he was to stop and talk with us.“

My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!“

Don't think much other description is needed. Just a top notch breakfast, everything done to near perfection. Home fries were personally not quite where I'd like them, but my desire for crispy home fries isn't an absolute right way to cook them, just a preference is all. They were very soft while not soggy, held their shape, and were certainly tasty.
