“I love going to the Tioga Bistro when I'm back in town; I grew up here but we never had any cool little restaurants like this one downtown as a kid. Im in the area for work and made a special trip into town just to have lunch. Great food at a fair price. Today I had a large bowl of pumpkin soup.......amazing. Followed by my favorite Bus 22 sandwich, ham and apple butter. I took a salted Carmel brownie along for dessert. Service is always fast and friendly. The interior is a little dimly lit, so I have to wear my glasses to read the menu. On street parking out front. If you are traveling on either 29 or 6, plan to have lunch in Tunkhannock!“

“Came to town with a "semi" local and went camping. T.j. took us to Double Ds for Saturday morning for breakfast and all I can say isWOW!!!!Thank God it was my cheat day!! The portions were outrageous!!!Best cornbeef hash on the planet I can't even make it that good for myself.amd Ive been cooking for over 30 years.....Best home cooking I've had in a very very long time.Hopefully I'll visit again soon possibly next season.Thank you guys so much for a great meal.....and the fresh canister of coffee ☕️ ☕️YOU THE BEST, BETTER THAN THE REST!“

“We love LOVE love their breakfast menu. Unless we are out of town, you will find our whole family there every Saturday morning and have been for several years. You'd think we'd get bored with the menu, but it's still my favorite thing about Saturday mornings. We enjoy the staff and indulge in the bakery every now and then, too. Typically, we order our pies here for the holidays and have ordered birthday cakes and other treats. In warmer weather, we've brought our dogs with us for meals at the outdoor seating and the staff has been so welcoming for the pups. Can't say enough good things.“

“Friday night, 9/18/20, I went to Perkins in Tunkhannock and had HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I asked to speak to a Manager and the woman that came to talk to me was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and said that they were busy. There were 4 tables occupied. HER NAME WAS MARLINDA. I have NEVER dealt with a person so rude!!!!! I asked her for corporate's number and she REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME!!!!! I called this morning and spoke with Jeff who repeatedly apologized for the nonsense last night and assured me that he would contact his head manager and regional manager. He also gave me the corporate number which I will be calling Monday. Because of him I will be going back but will never deal with Marlinda again, if I see her I will leave and go somewhere else.“

“Stopped in today with my husband. He had the crabcakes, fries snd coleslaw. I ordered the haddock with crab stuffing, steamed carrots ans twice baked potato. Both meals were delicious. We brought shrimp bisque and potato soup home for supper. I'm not overly excited about the atmosphere of the place but the food was good, service was good. It did take awhile for our foid but gave us a chance to talk and have some wine.“
