“Great local place! The people & food are the draw here! These wings are the only ones I'll eat in town & the burgers are hand pressed! Every time I've been here, I've been pleasantly greeted by the bartender/cook on duty, as well as some of the patrons. I'm particular about where I eat, but it doesn't take long to notice the impeccable cleanliness of 'the hancock'! Wing night every Friday, great time to try those secret recipe wings!!!“

“I want to gripe real quick...I absolutely LOVE Vocelli pizza but I live out in Ernest PA which is 15 minutes from shelocta and 15 minutes from Indiana...I have driven the good bit of distance just to get y'all's pizza but I can't always do it. I'd love if y'all could put one in Indiana Pa!! You'd get A LOT more business from me and I bet a lot of college students too!! PLEASE PUT ONE IN INDIANA PA!!!!“

The place has been around forever, clearly they're doing something right and it shows every single time I visit.Parking: Upper parking lot gets filled quickly but there is a back lower lot for the bar that is able to be utilized as well.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps!“

“I could never say enough good about this place. I really miss living a little closer to this small gem. I always enjoyed eating here when my children went to school in that area. I happened to be driving by there today at lunchtime and we stopped to eat. Simply still just amazing. I had the meatloaf sandwich and fries today and brought my apple pie dessert home. Seriously you all, you can get good cooked food here for the same price if not cheaper than McDonalds.“

“I had Slickville Deli partially cater a family event this past weekend. The chicken was very good and went like wildfire, the veggie tray - the same. The sandwich ring was a hit as well, especially later for leftover snacking. Would definitely recommend Slickville Deli for their catering service!“

“I’ve lived in the area my whole life & the pub has always been a staple. It’s always been affordable for families & the food was ok. Recently I’ve ate there & I really must say they have stepped up their food game & it’s impressive. I’m very picky when it comes to spending money on dining out. I’ve followed them & their struggles to persevere through roadblocks of the very old building & I have to say that is equally impressive. I can imagine running a business is hard enough without battling an old building. I feel as long as they continue to push through ironing out the repairs while keeping up the quality of their food as well as a welcoming vibe they will be very successful for many years & I hope I’m right. Very friendly people & nice atmosphere also. Keep pushing & best of luck!“
