“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!”

“I was in town for the holidays visiting my in laws and let me tell you, this place is a diamond in the rough. The cocktails are on par with some of the better restaurants you'd find in LA or New York. The food is on point as well, some real proper bbq, but thats what I'd expect in PA. Service was great and it honestly feels like your over at grandma's for dinner with the atmosphere.”

“I recommend the establishment but not for the meal I received. The server did an amazing job for being the only one there and was very pleasant… Thank you! The inside was very clean and aesthetic. The wood fired build your own pizza was delish. I got the pulled pork without the sauce and bun… (dietary restrictions) with the grilled zucchini. The zucchini was amazing but the pulled pork was like eating straw :(. It was hard and not juicy at all. Taste was just ok for me, def not something I would want to go out of my way for. Maybe get the pulled pork with sauce if you can and it would be much better I’m sure.”

“We were in the hotel for a school graduation event in the meeting space, figured we'd grab dinner on site to make it easy. The menu was a simple one page affair, printed paper so it's nice that it changes often I guess. We had a flatbread that the girls loved and I had a smokehouse chicken salad with a BBQ vinaigrette dressing that was awesome.I can't rave about the atmosphere as it is simply an aged hotel, pretty vanilla. The service and value, however, were great and you shouldn't hesitate to stop by.

Kid-friendliness: We didn't see any choices that were kid-specific, but before we asked our server, he suggested chicken strips and fries, lol. Worked out great.”

“First time back to Roland’s Trattoria in a while. So happy it’s reopened. The sauce is probably the best restaurant prepared sauce around- absolutely no bitterness or bite. The veal was tender and a very nice portion. The angel hair pasta cooked to perfection. This restaurant is apparently not well known or the fact that it is open again, after the owner retired, hasn’t reached the population in the area. This is an absolute MUST try experience. Well done, Roland’s. Oh, almost forgot- homemade bread. Baked in house daily and so fresh and soft Italian bread.”

“Tacos were really good. We got our staff at Fat Angelo's two party packs. Shrimp, Carnitas, Chicken, Beef, Chorizo. We got all the sauces they had and the cilantro lime rice. Everything was really organized, our order was correct, hot, and the taste was really good.”

BTW, below is the Breaded Jumbo Scallops & Lo-Mein, from the Chinese/American menu at the top of their website. I've had dozens of different food choices from here over the 20+ years I've been eating here, and I've NEVER had anything even remotely considered bad or NOT delicious. My absolute FAVORITE dish is the Seafood Lo-Mein. It comes with copies amounts of the best shrimp you'll ever taste, baby unbreaded scallops AND a plethora of crab meat. It's literally enough to make 3 GIGANTIC bowls of food, and therefore feed me for 3 straight days. Add in about 6-8 packets of JUST the Duck Sauce, and I'm beyond a happy customer ?????”

“Been to this market a couple of times and love the vibe. The entire surrounding community comes out, such as longstanding community staple businesses (like the Spring House), cottage vendors and nonprofit organizations.

Plenty of fresh and locally grown produce, many baked good selections, music, food trucks and much more. Bring quarters for the meters and your own totes. Easy jumping spot for a walk around the town area, many historic spots, murals and businesses to enjoy.”

“Been to Parlay more than a few times now and can’t say enough good things!
Laid back atmosphere with some booths and tables along with a bar. There’s an outdoor area with a huge fire pit that’s beautiful and warm despite the cold weather.
The food and drinks are great! I particularly like the buffalo chicken pizza. However my favorite is the sushi! It’s always fresh and a must if you stop by!
Service is always great despite being short staffed at times. I recently held an event at Parlay and was well taken care of! Planning and communication were simple and easy.
I highly recommend stopping in before heading to the casino or just for a bite to eat!

Parking: There is a lot in front of the hotel. But the hotel also has a bridge connecting to the parking garage for the casino.”

“They no longer use the white cheese on the food. That was my favorite. And the sauce is a sweet taste. Its not the same "old mexico" that I remember 9 years ago.. the service was fast and friendly. The nachos I brought home was great except, Like I said, that cheese I craved is no longer.”

“I love countryside but the last three times I stopped for items from the deli I was told the deli part was closed. One time was 5.15pm one was 5.20pm one was 5.30pm by the lady cashier as you walk in the door. Was told I could get hot food. I go there 2 to 3 times a week. Some people don't get off of work till 5 so being open till 6pm is fantastic. Is this a common practice. If so shouldn't it be posted what time the deli closes so we don't waste our time. I love this place and always buy more then just deli items but these three times I walk out the door with nothing.”

“Very good baked goods but a limited selection and a very limited time frame to buy. I haven't been able to catch them open in a few years so I got up ridiculously early to make it happen this morning (arrived before 6 AM on a Saturday). I walked in, was not greeted, and had to listen to the lady behind the counter complaining to another lady. When it was my turn I picked the six donuts I wanted but she only had five in the box so I said I had wanted two of the one kind and she said "you only said one". Why was that necessary? Just grab another donut, and maybe smile and say "hello" when a customer walks in and don't subject customers to your grievances. Make people feel welcomed and appreciated especially since they've gotten up so early to patronize your place of work. Very good donuts and Italian bread though.”

“The choices on sandwiches was great. The service here was fantastic. This location wasn't that far from the interestate. I rated the food low due to two reasons. One
the fries were overcooked and full of burnt bits. Two they toasted both sides of my sandwich which made the bread hard and not at all like the original sandwich I got in downtown Pittsburgh. I just think this place needs to focus on quality l, don't toast bread or may only one side on the grill and they would be much better.”

“I always incorporate Popcorn Willy’s into my favors at special events because it’s always a hit! “Thanks for Popping By” was a BIG hit at my Dad’s 80th Birthday Party and in the Welcome bags given out as guest checked into the hotel at my daughters wedding! 2 water bottles, a bag of the Mixed Fruit popcorn and a beach ball made everyone happy! “This is the best Arabic food and the cleanest place I have had in ten states ! It is important to note that this is something between a restaurant and a deli ! You will order at the counter and eat in disposable cutlery but I have no complaints whatsoever ! We finished lunch and took our dinner home with us ! It was that good. You first choose between a wrap , a salad , or a platter , choose the protein you want , then choose the sides. The shawarma and the falafel were so so yummy! “It's Starbucks. but if you're from out of town and wondering "is this a good Starbucks?" Yes it is but it does tend to get very busy at peak times and especially on weekends. And the drive thru line will be very long. If you're in the area during those times, the one in Target may be a better bet. If youre driving on 70/79 and looking for somewhere to stop for coffee, try the one on Racetrack Road instead.”

“As someone in upper management, I know the importance of reviews. The people who love you, tell you and don’t leave reviews, but the ones that had a bad experience always leave reviews. I come to this location just about every morning. I’m here out of town working and the service is the same every time I come in. I’ve tried anothet within a few mile radius from this one, and it doesn’t hold a candle. I’m singling out Ashley because she told me her name this morning. She had a bubbly personality and seems like she tries to make the day fun for herself and employees around her. Although I don’t know everybody by name, the whole staff deserves acknowledgment. You all are amazing. Thank you.”
