“I get the grandma pizzas every week and holy SMOKES…very good quality ingredients, masterfully proportioned cheese and toppings like REAL ITALIANS do…not sloppy with way too much stuff…just exactly right so the crust has some crisp but nothing is dry. The bruschetta has fresh, real, raw garlic in it (which is always a good sign of real Italian food flair!). This is my new place, and they’re gonna have to try real hard to get ridda me!”

Excellent customer service, they were busy and right in the beginning they told us it might be a bit slower of service which was great communication and it really wasn’t slow in my mind. The owner was friendly and greeted everyone like family. Actually everyone felt like family in there- the atmosphere was amazing. Families, couples, older people, kids, everyone was there and it was nice! We had delicious food- chicken parm, a chicken lasagna with vodka sauce that was delicious and a delicious bowl of butternut squash soup! Bread was good too! “We had a great brunch on Saturday. We were treated warmly, food was very good and our 3 year old was very happy with his food options. We will definitely be coming back for brunch.

Kid-friendliness: Our 3 year old is very rambunctious. He was surprisingly well behaved here, he loved our server and everyone was very nice to him. He had many options to choose from, and was happy they had his favorites, tomatoes and cucumbers.”

Cozy atmosphere, excellent service. The dishes are presented well. Generous servings. Everyone works together, so it's never hard to get the attention of a server.

“We were pleased with the food and drinks we had here. Generous portions. My sausage sandwich on hero bread did need some salt and pepper for my liking, because the sausage wasn’t heavily seasoned like some. I think I’ll try it with bacon next time. Breakfast potatoes were served with or without peppers and onions. Both were good. My husband had an omelet with salmon and really liked it. Coffee was very good, not burnt or bitter at all and they offer free refills. My smoothie was very good, but I also had to buy a water because it was almost empty by the time we finally got our food.

The service was very slow when we were there (Sunday early afternoon). It was also lacking a little. We had to approach to ask questions a couple of times because service was so relaxed. They were very nice, just not necessarily in a hurry or overly informative. They also seem to do a lot of takeout orders through apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash, which dramatically slows the small kitchen and staff. We were fortunate to be able to get a table, since they only have a handful of them.

We will definitely go back here, but might try it on a weekday next time to see if service is faster.”

“This is my go to for southern food & deserts inside the Shillington farmers market. I've gone back several times to try different food items & loved everything I had! Overall I've tried the mac & cheese, white rice, lemon pepper & jerk chicken, collard greens, sweet potatoes, cabbage, mango cobbler, soul roll & lemon cake were all delicious! Food did not make it past the car let alone into my camera lol. Sampled the curry chicken aswell & it was so flavorful, tender with just the right amount of spice. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the German choc cake everything else EXCELLENT!”
