“My sisters and I are always looking for diners when we go out. We are not fond of the chain restaurants. Today we found this diner on google and tried it. While we only ordered breakfast, it was the best breakfast that we have gotten. The pancake was fluffy and delicious. My eggs were made perfect, the coffee wasn’t bitter and our toast was perfect. Sue was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant!! One of the best diners I have been to in quite a while!!!“

“When we arrived the restaurant was very crowded we have been here about 6 times even though it was crowded the waitress waited on us she was excellent our food came within 7 minutes.The food was delicious. It doesn't matter how crowded it is the most you wsit on your food to arrive is 5 to 7 minutes unbelievable we continue to keep going back because it's a very pleasant place and everything is just so perfect. Give it a try and you will keep going back. You will always get a large portion of food“

“Reserved deck area for a meeting/working dinner. Meal was very enjoyable. So much more I want to try on the menu, so will go back. Not the best meeting space, though. Lots of noise echo and not all of the wall plugs were working for chargers. But that won't keep me from eating there again. Food was delish!!“

“The all time best breakfast in Western PA. Their pancakes are huge. I love the Mancini French Toast, so much food. The best home fries, better than The Waffle Shop!! “it was a great place to go until tonight when we went to dinner the service we received from the waitress was fantastic the food was fantastic but when we went to leave we stopped to play one of the games and ended up being harassed by I guess one of there drunk customers. the sad thing about the situation is one of the owners sat there and let it go on. the guy was very aggressive to us wanting to fight all we did was sit down to play one of the machines and didn't realize the volume was on low. this guy pushed his way in between me and my brother put his hand in the machine and lowered the volume he could of just asked us so my brother told him not to put his hand on the machine and he went off now one of the owners were sitting by him letting this go on. he kept going back to the bar and the machine. he made a comment that we played the machine because we saw him playing it. we were in the table area. as we were leaving we walk by him and he yells oh leaving without fighting me. then he was running his mouth with the f word now the owner is still sitting there letting this go on. I started walking back towards the guy and the owner stops me and said you were leaving so leave. then there was a lady sitting at the same table and she got up and talked to us and walked us out. she was very nice. then there was another drunk woman at the bar and as we were leaving she started running her mouth. I never expected this kind of behavior in this restaurant it was always so peaceful and enjoyable. so I guess here it shows that you must have to be a drunk to get appreciated for you patronizing Coaches. very sad have to find another place now.“

“I've been eating Jim's since i was a teenager in the 60s. Unfortunately the famous sauce has been altered and was never as spicy as it is now. Too much heat and spice have ruined Jim's sauce.“

Great food (all of it, one could maybe argue it is too good for a dive bar haha), good + cold drinks, friendly people, and one of the last few places where you are allowed to smoke. “This place is second to none! Top notch on everything. We had my husbands retirement celebration there last Saturday. We had another venue and 5 days before the event we decided we were making a mistake and called Lynn at the Red Lion Restaurant. On short notice Lynn accommodated every single request we asked her for. We had an extensive Menü, Stuff PorkChops, Roast Beef in gravy, Seafood Alfredo, Rigatoni, Red Roasted Potatoes and a vegetable melody, A charcuterie table that was amazing, the food was excellent, the service was incredible, her staff went far and beyond to make this event special! I want to thank them all for making this celebration in our families life so special and a beautiful memory we will cherish for ever.
