“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. “We often order delivery from here and are always impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and the speed of delivery. Tonight it was chicken parmigiana with angel hair and a side salad with fried zucchini as an appetizer for me, while my dad did the build-your-own-pasta with gnocchi and carbanara (bacon, mushroom cream) sauce and caesar salad. They said it would be an hour and it was only 30 minutes. I don't know how the fried zucchini travels and still arrives crispy, but they do it, and it's awesome, large slices, very generous, like a whole zucchini, with crisp, though not too thick, breading. It does not include a dip, only lemon wedges, but I have ranch dressing here. The chicken parmigiana was two large breasts, breaded, moist, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The side salads are generous with a thick slice of cucumber, grape tomato, red onion, and lettuce (the caesar - not real authentic but good - with croutons, black olives, grape tomatoes, lettuce, and parm cheese). We are never disappointed and always have leftovers. The one time something was wrong with our order, they promptly came back with what was missing and gave us a credit. Try the focaccia pizzas for a week's worth of great food! Highly recommended!!!“

“Found this hidden gem today on my way to work. I had the Italian sub with chips. It was both delicious and filling. The owner is a real nice down to earth gentleman I had the pleasure of conversing with as I waited for my meal. I ended up eating the whole 1/2 sub, which is rare for me. “I used to go to Center Avenue all the time when I lived in West View, and I got to know the owner. Now in Shaler, we don't get Center Avenue as much, but when we do the pizza is as good in 2023 as it was in 2005! Family owned, they continue to take pride in their food, and I NEVER had bad food there.
