“Food was on point. And delivery on a wet stormy cold night. Got General chicken just the right amount of spice and steam dumplings. I can always count on China hut. Edit everyone’s complaining about the spice being too hot. It’s about time a place made it the right amount of spice how it supposed to be.“
“I give the food 4 stars because I always test each Chinese restaurant for their General Tso’s chicken dish. If the chicken is not crispy, then the sauce and the chicken should’ve been presented separately even if it’s takeout. No one in PA has survived that test yet. Also, there should be a tang from the vinegar that stands out and again no one in PA has reached that level. However, based on the taste and experience of the local residence, this is a five star to them. So I see both sides. However, if you are well traveled, this is a three star restaurant regarding their food.Parking: They are usually parking spots to park at, but may have to park further down the street during peak hours.“
“Very clean, floor, tables, and counters are in very good condition. This buffet opened recently and I believe you should give it a try if you are in the mood for Chinese food or snow crab legs. Sodas and juice are included in the price, ice cream are individual cups, No messy station. For under $19/ adult including drinks is really worth a try.“
“Unexpectedly found this place when we went to Lehigh Valley Mall and didn’t find any place interesting inside. The cooks are amazing at what they do and their sons are great hosts/cashiers. We had the Drunken Noodles with Tofu and ended up ordering another to take home. There’s limited seating (1 table with 4 seats & barstools) but the freshness of the food and friendliness of the people make up for it! I wished I lived closer so I could be a frequent customer. Glad to have found this gem!Vegetarian options: We got the tofu drunken noodles and requested no egg, so the dishes were prepared à la minute.Parking: There’s a 3-hr parking zone right in front. (Parallel street parking)“
“This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I went with dishes that test a variety of flavors. The chicken skewers were amazing and were 11/10. The chicken was aromatic, savory, and tasty. The beef and broccoli I got was good but needed more umami flavor like garlic and soy sauce. Overall 4.5/5, will be a repeat customer and bring my friends along to tryDietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and managed to find a meal that worked for me without any difficulty or having to search out the menu“
“A great place for a date or a casual night out. Friendly, prompt staff with hideous plating and delicious food. We ordered the Sashimi for Two and the Crunch Tower. Both stellar and came out looking gorgeous. The selection of fish was tender and flavorful. Will definitely go again.“
“Absolutely love this place. Food is always fresh and great tasting. Their prices are very comparable to other restaurants however their food is amazing!!!Vegetarian options: Their menu selection is great and they will always accommodate requests.“
“Really great, chicken with broccoli had just the right amount of sauce. I also love that you can order pints and quarts still, instead of only one large size. The guy that helped me behind the counter was also extremely helpful. Will definitely be coming back here again!“
“My co-workers kept mentioning how good this place is, so I decided to order along with them. Some places that sell healthy food can be so blend. Let me tell you how my food was so DELICIOUS! I'm one that gets full easily and takes leftovers home. Well, as you can see from my pictures, it was almost all gone. Everything I had was so fresh and tasty. I posted a picture of the ingredients of my bowl. If you're into eating a healthy meal, definitely try Poke Kai.“
“After moving to Bethlehem, I felt like it was a mission to find a good quality Chinese take out spot. But Ruby Cafe has not disappointed. Hands down the cleanest and most delicious in Bethlehem. Tiny downside is that they don’t deliver but that’s ok the drive is always worth it.“
“Just enjoyed a great dining experience at Hunan Springs. What impressed me immediately was the waiter wearing a mask. My wife and I take care of her elderly parents; her dad has some immunity problems. We are very careful when we take them out with us to avoid too much exposure. The menu has ample choices, prices are reasonable, and you won't leave hungry! Service is fast and the orders brought out accurately. Delicious food. We will definitely be returning.“
“I absolutely loved their shrimp lo mein! It's been a challenge to find a place that makes it just perfect. The flavor is on point and they don't overcook the noodles like other places. The shrimp tasted fresh. I also love their wonton soups and eggrolls.“
“Wish I took a picture, but I was too hungry to think of it. I got the Deluxe Rainbow roll, and hubby got lunch special General Tso’s chicken. Food. Was. Amazing! The sauce for the chicken is different than what we’re used to and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good, and the fish was so fresh and melted like butter. Definitely 5 stars and would love to go back!“
“1st the Lemon Chicken best I ever had and I've been to every major city and state, chicken cooked perfectly and the batter is crispy and hits with that deliciouslemon sauce, 5 stars, next the Hot and Sour soup was amazing, I was feeling under the weather and it made me feel good, can't wait to pass back through Allentown I will be stopping for sure.“
“I recently dined at China Wok, and I can't praise it enough! This restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves five stars without a doubt. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and cozy. The menu offered an extensive array of Chinese cuisine, and each dish I tried was a culinary masterpiece. The General Tso's chicken was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, while the vegetable fried rice was a delightful blend of textures and tastes. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure every detail was taken care of. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.Whether you're in the mood for a cozy dinner with friends or a family celebration, China Wok is the place to be. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Five stars all the way!“
“Can't get much better food or portions, especially when you eat in.Their sauces for several dishes are very uniquely flavored (sweet and sour chicken, tso's chicken and sesame chicken are huge stand outs)Atmosphere wise it's kinda cute. Extremely mom and pop store feel, but hey, they've got a business to run and childcare expenses are insane so I get it. Their kids are there but are super well behaved in the restaurant.“
“Would give it 0 stars but giving it 5 so this way it can be seen we spent 100 dollars to feed the family and it tasted horrible the rice was soggy the egg rolls are gross and the noodles tasted cheaper the crab rangoons were mushy so disappointed won’t go there again“
“First visit and ordered General Tso combination, large pork with broccoli and an order of crab Rangoon. Very tasty and fresh. Interesting style of General Tso with cabbage in it- very good. Ingredients were very fresh. Will definitely return.“
“Excellent food! Highly recommend eating in, if possible - the service is impeccable, friendly, attentive, and SO FAST! We enjoyed lunch combos. Everything was very good, highly recommend!Parking: Parking is relatively plentiful and easy to accessKid-friendliness: They have some kids options on the menu and fries, which is important in our neurodivergent house“
“Love the steak on a stick. I’ve been here twice now and it hits the spot. I’ve also had the beef and broccoli with garlic sauce with pork fried rice, delicious. The egg rolls are also some of the best I’ve had. The hot and sour soup was exactly what I was needing today and it didn’t disappoint in the least. The place is always very clean too.“
“First time here. We're from New York where we have great Chinese. We decided to try this one and it did not disappoint. It was pretty good and my kids really liked it. Food came out super fast as well. Not even 10 minutes. Definitely coming back. And they deliver!!“
“I order from here at less once a week and the food is always good but I have noticed that the food is the best on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I have on this day about 6 times and the food was really hitting in taste and flavor.Parking: Open parking lot with lot of space but it not marked out. The sides of the restaurants are very dark. It was been like this for the since I have been coming here and that been a year.“
“I’ve tried ALOT of Chinese food spots in Allentown but haven’t found one I would loyally go to every time the craving happens. But I did today. I walked in and was helped by the most sweetest, beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on ( I’m a 20 something year old women). She helped me quickly and even gave me a free 2 liter ( I did spend about $50).The food was great! I’m ordering my Chinese food from here from now on. I wish I would’ve had cash so I could’ve gave her a tip but I didn’t… so this review would have to do. Thank you !“
“This is my favorite Chinese spot the closest to New York since I moved here.. their Shanghai Duck is to die for, the lo Mein is dark just the way it suppose to be and the Fry Rice with veggies or plain is delicious. I first came here in 2020 during the pandemic and have been a regular since. The owners and staff are very friendly and family oriented I love them?‼️“
“Best Chinese food in Lehigh Valley, hands down. Every dish is authentic and very northern Chinese. Every dish is different because as real Chinese cuisine, every dish uses different sauce and different cooking technique and temperature. The chef here was not a farmer, or construction worker, who becomes a chef later because of survival necessities. The chef here must have been trained as a chef at a proper organization. We used to love this place and go over very frequently. The server Dino was very friendly; the owner/waitress Amy was always warm. Then we realized that they did not do anything about their inside decorations. The carpet is getting dirtier and dirtier. When covid hit, they only serve takeout; when Covid is getting better, they still only serve takeout. Real authentic gourmet Chinese food should not be takeouts. It ruins the flavor and texture. We haven’t been back but look forward to trying again.“
“Personally they have the best boneless spare ribs and their rice is always so soft and fresh. Their pizza egg rolls are so good I get them everytime. Their ice tea is perfect as well. Literally the only place in Allentown I order Chinese food from.“
“Great food. Clean and bright restaurant. Newly remodeled, looks great. The best take out within 50 miles. I take it home from Macungie to Jim Thorpe. Super friendly staff accommodates any special request without question. We love China Moon Macungie.“
“This was my first time ordering from Lin's Garden and the food was incredible! I got Pepper Steak and an egg roll. My family also got General Tso's and Sweet and Sour Chicken all were very tasty! They've got repeat customers with us.“
“the food was delicious. it was recommended to us from a friend. it was a bit of a drive, but worth it. it is the best tasting quick chinese food place we have found in the area.the recommendation was spot on and they did not disappoint. we will be ordering from there again.“
“My wife and I been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since moving to the area Most of the ones we tried were very bland. Dragon Place had what we were looking for. Both tasty and good price First time here an the food tasted great Only concern was my wife's spring roll was a bit soggy My egg roll and shrimp w/ lobster sauce was great and have enough for a meal later this week Definitely going back here for more meals“
“The food here is always hot and very flavorful. The portions are good and the prices are a little under than what other locals charge. Kitchen looks clean and everything taste fresh. There is not old dirty oil taste or smell like some chinese places. Parking is on street and can be a burden depending on time. I also believe they are takeout only now. Would recommend and if I lived in allentown they would prob be my go to chinese spot.“
“Spicy Shrimp & Broccoli with steamed rice was very good. Curry Shrimp & Broccoli with steamed rice was very good. Spicy Shrimp Curry and Spicy Chicken Curry with steamed rice were both very good. Mixed Vegetable Soup was full of vegetables and broth had good flavor. Ginger Shrimp with Bok Choy and veg fried rice was okay. Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai had plenty onions and was good. Spicy Chicken With Mixed Vegetables & steamed rice was good, probably would be better without spicy seasoning. Spicy Shrimp & Scallops in garlic sauce was okay, over-seasoned. Scallops smaller than expected. House Special Lo Mein with shrimp & chicken was prepared fresh and served hot. Lo-Mein was good, could've used more chicken. This restaurant is very casual, mostly takeout. Owner is hardworking & wonderful person.“
“Food is really good and fresh. It’s one of those mom and pop Chinese food restaurants. The establishment itself could use a remodeling. But I honestly don’t care about how the place looks to over how great the food tastes. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“
