“myself and a group of friends spent this past weekend in Williamsport for a pool tournament and we stayed at the Holiday Inn, and this bar was located inside the hotel. 10/10 highly recommend if you’re in the area (it is open the public, you don’t need to be a guest of the hotel to access the bar/restaurant). We had both breakfast and dinner, and all of the food was excellent! However our bartenders, Billy & Hunter (aka Jimmy and Jessica) were absolutely FANTASTIC and I give them all the credit for the great experience we had. They were very attentive, super super super nice, and so much fun. Billy is a funny laid back guy, and Hunter will make you the best lemon drop martini you ever had! If we’re ever back in the area, we will absolutely be back.”

“Idk what his name was but one of the employees just told me I brightened his day. Let me tell you that brightened my day, and was very unexpected. He was also very polite and even told me not to apologize for not being able to tip more than I had. (I felt $1 on a $54 order was just way too small and hated that I didn't have more cash to tip with.) He told me "Don't ever apologize for what you tip, we are grateful no matter what" You don't see a lot of people like that in the food industry and it was a great experience! Nice relaxing bar. It does need a redesign and fixed up a bit but it still is a place to call home.”

I’m mostly eating bland grab and go items. I put a note in my online order saying “I can’t eat these vegetables, but I can eat these other vegetables—do what you can.” Didn’t have much hope they’d even notice the note, but they completely delivered! This is the first time lately that I was able to order a full, flavorful meal and eat all of it without having to pick out and discard things. So good for my psyche right now. “I have been stopping at this place for over three years now when I am in the area. The prices are great. Service is always top notch and they have one of the best cheese steaks sandwiches I have ever tasted. It's phenomenal!! I highly recommend if you are in the area to go check them out.

“Came with my family of 10 for the first meal of our Christmas vacation. Whole restaurant was decorated warmly and festively, even including pictures of Christmas trees colored by children on the walls going into the dining area. Ordered the Top Sirloin Steak with a side of french fries and fresh broccoli; truthfully, it was one of the most tender and most flavorful steaks I have ever had, and the broccoli and fries were cooked to perfection. Christina gave us incredible service and showed a beautiful mindset towards her work. My meal was the last to arrive, and when she apologized multiple times for the wait, she expressed to me how important it was to her that I received my food alongside the rest of my family. She even provided us with a free brochure for some festive events being held around the area. We had an amazing time! To Christina and the rest of the Perkins staff, thank you for making my family's experience so enjoyable. I sincerely reccomend.

Dietary restrictions: One of the first places from my memory that offered non-dairy creamers at the table; this was a huge relief for my cousin and I. My diabetic Nana and Uncle were also able to eat very comfortably.

Kid-friendliness: Three other kids I saw come into the restaurant, all of them entering and leaving happily. One I took notice of was so excited, they started jumping to get to their family's table. Kids menu very broad!”

“Wanted a quick sandwich for lunch and search engine lead us to Casale's. It's very old school: you walk up to the counter, place the order, and whenever it's ready the server brings it to your table.

There was one person working and we were convinced we were gonna be there forever. Somehow she knocked out two cold sub sandwiches, two grilled pita sandwiches, some garlic cheese bread, and two fountain sodas in under 15 minutes.

She's a rockstar.

Parking: Not a lot of street spots available. The lot catty corner will run you about $2 for an hour or two. Not worth the ticket even on a Saturday.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. It's no Chuck E. Cheese, but they'll be okay.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can eat here if you're in a wheelchair. Door is wide enough and the tables move around.”

So I found Joy Thai on Uber Eats in Williamsport and ordered a salad, some hot ginger tea, and an iced Thai coffee. It was amazing! “The women who work in the coffee shop are second to none as far as friendliness (even when it’s busy). However, the gentleman making the coffee is probably the rudest barista in town. I spend a fair amount of time in there and to watch him yell at a woman in her 70s and be rude to every other customer because he’s busy is absolutely unacceptable. When I tried to make a comment in reference to understanding it had been a rough week, I was verbally attacked by another customer who was cheered on by the barista. If you’re stressed about the amount of orders, train someone to help you with the coffee, don’t take your frustration out on paying customers. I still give them 4 of 5 stars, but only because the other employees and owner are so kind. Their day shouldn’t be spent apologizing for his attitude.”

Parking: You Must travel East on Little League Blvd. until you get to Pine Street, then turn North and a quick right after the light into the parking lot.(this is only viable depending on which direction you are traveling, so it would be opposite if you are traveling from the West)

Kid-friendliness: The owner has children and you will see them learning the family business even at a young age. Very inspiring to see them learning about their family's business.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are located in a Mall type area, so there are already ramps on this property.”

I don't have any phobias of anyone or gender but I was caught off guard by that and I wasn't feeling to happy after leaving. I'm very glad that we have a local pub/bar with entertainment that is within a mile radius of Lake Wynonah. That is the great news however: I do have some concerns for the owner and establishment.It appeared to me that the bartenders there on Sunday we're very unexperienced and didn't have any training. They appeared lost on the POS system and the one was way over pouring drinks. The wait time for the food was entirely too long for the crowd that was there.I am kind of disappointed because I really want this place to survive and do well. Having 6 years of experience in successfully managing a bar, I'm not sure if Southern Grill will survive if there are not protocols put in place and people trained well to work as a team.I really hope I'm wrong because I really enjoyed myself over the weekend.”
