“Wow! This place was amazing. The food and drink were unbelievable! Everything is made to order, so it takes a little longer but is totally worth the wait. I got the battle bagel and a carmel macchiato. My mom got the Jacked up spud crepe and a chocolate covered strawberry drink. Because this is also a bakery, we got some cookies and a cinnamon bun to go. The cookies were some of the best from a bakery I have ever had. Next time, I would heat the cinnamon roll just a bit, and it would be so much better. The location is preety good too. This place is right across the bridge from the river trail.Update: My mom got a carrot cake cheesecake for our easter dinner here. It was fabulous! Worth every penny, we will be back for more!!”
“Heard about Riverside Subs on the Hoagie Gurus page on Facebook and since we're only about 25 minutes away, thought I'd give it a shot. Definitely glad I did! The hoagies were excellent, with some of the best bread I've had. Portions were generous and everything was of good quality. Great service too. I'll be back to try other menu items. As a side note, check out their website for the "secret menu" items.”
“What a find River House was! I love the Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry. I’ve brought several family members here as well and it has quickly become their go-to place for Asian food. My one family member who isn’t into Asian got the fried chicken and thought it was phenomenal as well. Couldn’t recommend them more.”
“This restaurant is located on the shores of the Susquehanna River. The views are awesome!!! We eat in the full service restaurant. My shrimp and grits were out of this world crazy good. Our service was attentive and they accommodated our desire to eat a slow paced dinner. There is a bar with live music and an outdoor bar with a casual menu... The pizza looked great. I will return here again.”
“My neighbor sent me here and I'm glad she did!Took my old Ross in one Monday morning. It wasn't shifting correctly and I'm clueless They took me right in and while I waited I looked at their other things--got new gloves, bottle cage and looked at their nice helmet selection. Definitely will be back. Hoping the barista is in next time because it poured down rain-a coffee would have been just the thing!”
“One of my favorite wineries in the area! When the weather is nice, it's a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy their flights. The bottles are reasonable prices.”
“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.”
“Returned to our old haunts and ordered. a long time favorite: "ham boats" plus a margarita pizza. Ham boats were delicious... a simple sub sandwich (see my photo) with ham & cheese, and a few "Fixin's, slightly toasted....yum. Pizza was just OK. Crust was crispy but really lacked any distinctive flavor....sauce was same. Toppings were fair. (You can kinda "see" what I mean in my photo). Filling. Next time will probably just stick to the ham boats... Always a winner.”
“Grateful Dead themed brewery that was playing some good tunes on the radio and then had a great live band play (The Nobles). Every beer we had was good, they have a good variety of styles to choose from. They have a small food menu, we each got burgers that came with fries or tots and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious! The bartender could have been a little friendlier but other than that we had a good experience.”
“Best Original Ham & cheese sub smash & toated to perfection. Sometimes I get tired of a regular sub roll but I told them exactly what I wanted and they were pleased to make it for me. It was amazing! ”
“This was our first time here after having lots of recommendations to go. When you walk in you seat yourself our waitress came over almost immediately with menus. Didn't take pictures but for drinks we had White Peach Crush, Punch Bowl Crush, and a Reeds Apple Ale.”
“I've eaten here since before it was bought and transformed and let me tell you, they did an excellent job making this place look gorgeous!! I haven't had bad food there yet and the same goes for drinks. It's a little pricey, but a very nice place and worth the money. I highly recommend it!”
“Hands down the best diner experience i have had in the past 30 years, I ate at diners from lancaster county up to fort drum new york . This is my Favorite of all time . I would recommend the chipped beef . Its phenomenal ?.Also taking home a quart of Daryl ham nd bean. The dining experience from the moment you walk in till you leave is nothing short of the best you could ask for . The waitress Tina is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best dining experience . The owner and the cook , walk out to Greet you and make sure all is above and beyond .5 stars are not enough . To say how great this place is .”
“Definitely a fun ice cream shop and one of my go-tos! I’ve been here on multiple occasions and always enjoy it. The creations that they come up with are definitely nothing I could think of with the combinations of flavors that flow together. Their options to make your own creation is plentiful and the cost is very reasonable. Then to top it off with friendly staff and owners, you can’t beat that. Don’t wait to check them out!”
“A must-visit featuring a delicious food and drink menu, relaxing indoor and outdoor atmosphere, and beautiful art and products available for purchase created by local vendors. I’m from out of the area and make sure to come here every time I’m in town!Definitely try the cronuts and hash bowl!”
“Amazing breakfast sandwiches on fresh bagels. Great variety of drinks. We drive out from Lancaster as a special treat every few weeks though once we went three mornings in a row because it’s just too damn good.”
“My daughter found this coffee shop online and we decided to give it a try and I am so glad that we did. The owner is absolutely fantastic. She has such a wonderful, bubbly and outgoing personality. The muffins are wonderful. I'm sure everything else as far as food is amazing as well. My daughter and I both got a latte iced and it was probably one of the best lattes I've ever had. The espresso that she uses is so smooth. The ice latte was not overbearing in flavor. It was absolutely perfect! It was so good I came back the following day and will continue to come back anytime I need a coffee fix.Parking: Parking right out front large shared lot.”
“First time eating here and it was phenomenal. I would give 10 stars if possible. Not only was the food good, but the hospitality was incredible. They checked on us frequently to make sure we were okay and made sure we didn’t go without. For everything you get, the prices are extremely reasonable. The Mac n cheese and baked beans were seasoned beautifully. I highly recommend. We will be back!”
“A great gem of a restaurant tucked away in Landisville. We were greeted by Matt, who seated us and was our server. We discussed the cocktails and ordered. I had the steak tips sandwich and fries -- very good. I liked the mushrooms and Swiss cheese on the sandwich. The fries are batter dipped, but lightly. They were great, not greasy or soggy. My husband had Chicken Marsala over risotto. The flavor and texture were excellent. We will definitely return. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. Thank you, Blue Collar Restaurant and Matt, for a great evening.”
“My brother took my sister and I to lunch there while we were visiting him. The food was excellent and the service was awesome in a great atmosphere!! I highly recommend The First Post!!”
“Mom's great home cooking with reasonable pricing. Usually busiest for breakfast so prepare to wait 20 min most days, especially weekends. If you want less noise, eat in the back dining area as the front tends to be louder from the kitchen and the seats are smaller and closer together.”
“If you want one of the best cups of coffee this is where you need to be. No frills, no garbage in their drinks and non of that fake sugar. A genuine cup of coffee! Highly recommend!”
“They have hands down the best pizza around in etown and it’s not even close I just tried there cheesesteak best I have ever had the flavor in the steak is amazing highly ”
“It's very hard to find a bakery that makes sugar free items. Rise and Bake makes wonderful sugar free apple dumplings. My husband loves them!Dietary restrictions: Sugar free”
“What greater compliment can someone give and eatery than returning time after time. I lived in Mount Joy until recently when I relocated to Avondale in Southern Chester County (or some folk think in South Carolina). Depending on buggy and tractor trailer traffic, Miss Calee's is a 55-75 minute drive. I still come to Landisville at least once a week. This little treasure is simply an oasis in a desert of breakfast places. Its food, service, friendliness, and vibe is one of a kind. Give it a shot!! You'll not be disappointed.Parking: Limited parking in front lot. Lots of parking in the rear.Kid-friendliness: Simply put: my grandkids love it!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the far left of front parking lot right near the handicapped space.”
“We had our wedding reception here and everyone (from 18 - 95 in age) raved about the food and the service. Thank you to all of the staff.Nearby activities: The Railroad House has room available for overnight stays. The restaurant/bar serves great food. The menu changes seasonally. The town of Marietta is quaint and full of charm. There is a nice riverside trail and the location is along the non-navigable section of the Susquehanna River. Great place to spot birds.Safety: The town is full of people born and raised in Marietta. They take great pride in their community.Walkability: The town has sidewalks throughout most of the town. Speed limit for cars is 25mph.Food & drinks: The menu is upscale and very good. Wonderful beer and cocktail selection. There are a number of eating establishments in town. Each has their own unique vibe.”
“Got chili cheese fries and chili dog very good the chili has a little kick to it I love it the fries in the picture were half eaten they looked way better before I touched them lol I was ”
“Beautiful set up ,husband and i have come several times .The improvements are nice but i admires the smaller setup it .All around I recommend stopping if its your type of food.”
“DiMaria's is one of the best pizzarias around with the best environment the nicest workers and the best food. Nothing will ever compare to this place! Their wings are to DIE for I swear!!”
“A very cute little shopped tucked away in Wrightsville. A good selection of baked goods. We enjoyed donuts today! Friendly service! A stop on the holiday tour!”
