“I like how the staff didn’t bother using any French on me and assumed I was an English speaking American. ? The food was amazing. Staff was great. I was under the weather so I didn’t get to engage as much with the restaurant or people and ordered takeout to eat at home. The energy of the restaurant was positive and of course smelled great.I ordered the spicy wing combo with spaghetti and it was the pick me up I needed. I opted for spaghetti as the side and still got blessed by the team with rogue delicious spicy fries along with a delicious dipping dipping sauce. As someone who is used to fried chicken in the southern United States, this was a top tier fried chicken meal.“

The staff here are courteous and efficient. “Honestly, it is the best poulet rouge I have eaten so far. Without discrediting the others, this poulet rouge is very friendly and very clean. As a vegan, they literally grilled the “poulet vege” separately and make sure there is no contact with the rest of the chicken. Strongly recommended!“

The restaurant offers different seasonings on the chicken, seoulmate (Korean style), Kansas BBQ, Jerkalicious (Jerk chicken) and Piri Piri. The food was great, the amount of food you get with only one article on the menu is enough to bring back home. It only costs 50$ for two chicken plates (with salad bar included). “This review is from a while ago, but I figured they still deserved the shout-out. At that time the portions where fair, the value was good and the staff was nice. This is a no-frills take-away, rotisserie chicken and fixings type of place. They do have some other items like ribs, fish, and poutine, but most of their menu revolves around chicken in all formats, shapes and sizes; on bread, in a wrap, on a plate --- cooked: grilled, battered, on a spit or even popcorn-style --- I think you get the idea. If case you are not from Quebec, France of the like the name of this place is a play on the French word for rooster and the last letters of Quebec; a mashup like their menu; a complete and total mashup of chicken or their wings with various sauces, brown gravy, coleslaw (my fave) and of course fries fries fries. Quick, easy and but not gourmet by any reasonable stretch of the imagination. Oh, and they do have family deals which is nice plus wings in quantity and free, fast delivery.“
“The food here is delightful. We typically get a large family meal. And it never disappoints. I normally tire of getting one thing over and over again, but this meal is fantastic. Of course, the other meals are nearly as delightful, but this one tops it all off. Great chicken, great sauce, and great chips (fries for you Americans). The service was mostly reasonable. But it can be a little slow at times, but the food makes up for that. The atmosphere in there is 10/10 for me. It is beautiful. And it is a great place to dine in.
