Inviting and contemporary decor , attentive service, warm staff, lovely background music, and gorgeous serving ware. We were a group of twelve and seating was arranged so we could all see each other and converse. And the food! Fresh, flavourful and abundant. The recommended appetizers were excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their main choice. Hubby is a chef and was raving about good everythingwas. Exceeded my expectations which were already high. “I have had Foodine food service for almost 4 months. I loved the food and following are the things I would like to highlight: 1. Quality- Homely food, Fresh and I never felt it is made of cheap ingredients. 2. Variety- Amazing variety of food mostly Daal coupled with veggies and on saturday there is special street food like vada pav, pav bhaji or Dabeli. Occasionally sweet dishes are also provided. 3. Punctuality- Never ever they missed delivering my food on time. If they are closed (which rarely happens), Vishal from Foodine informs before hand. Please note they don’t deliver on weekend. 4. Price- Full meal is 295$ with delivery. I believe a full meal is sufficient for 2-3 persons. Half meal is $195 with delivery is sufficient for 1-2 people. Therefore, Per meal per person costs around 5-6$ which is very reasonable. Please note they don’t deliver on weekend and they deliver around 20-21 days a month. However, the lamb curry in the non veg thali was very bad. It had a very bad taste. The veg thali had daal which was soooooo good. Baingan bartha (burnt aubergine curry) was also very nice. “Excellent Sri Lankan food. My lamb kothu roti was too salty so ask for less salt. It was boneless and delicious. A single dinner plate of Chicken kothu might be shared between two people. The lamb is a bit smaller in portion. It's at an older building so you will see a mouse trap on the way to the hand wash station.“
