We went there at 9:30. They close at 10, they were so friendly didn’t rush us at all.We tried a mix of different dishes for 2 people. Everything was sooooo delicious, but butter chicken was another level!!! I am regretting why I didn’t discover this place earlier!We brought the rest of it home and ate it for the next day lunch. One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Going to the Star of India is always a treat. The food is divine and the staff is friendly. The place is a staple in the city and is always busy, you know that's a good sign.Vegetarian options: We always order the DD vegetarian option and still walk out stuffed, delicious !

Awesome experience! Perfect and discreet service. Very nice tasting menu options for two, with perfect value for money.All the dishes were delicious (samosa, butter chicken, lamb and vegetables) as well as the bread which was freshly baked. The dishes were very accessible to everyone because they were not spicy. This can also be a negative element: we don't lose flavor but it doesn't sting at all.
