First visit yesterday and it was quite filling. I ordered a large grillot and it has fed me for two meals. Haitian food is different since we dont see that too often in Gatineau. The spices can surprise you, and what we think is mild coleslaw is quite spicy! As long as you know that, all will be fine.I prefer the grillot and the cabri (pork and goat) dishes. Great Haitian food with authentic menu items. This is there second location, the other in Ontario is the original and also very good. The menu is very diverse with tons of major staples and a great introduction to Haitian cuisine if you haven’t tried it. The Tasso (fried goat), gryo (fried pork) and djon djon rice (black trumpet like mushroom black rice). The fried plantains and Pikliz are also a great side item and condiments.
