“Amazing food. Got the sausage and relish bun, custard filled bun and the steamed cake. Everything was extremely fresh and very affordable. Went there multiple times during my trip. The service is efficient and the people working at the store are very helpful. Make sure to get a bao next door too!“

“It’s definitely an interesting restaurant, the food is good and on par with the speed of service !The fact that the restaurant is opened late at night is a life saver for anyone craving Chinese after a party !I gotta say, we had the beef orange and the general Tao and both sauce felt too similar, next time i will take something different in terms of meat !Their noodles / enoki mushroom rolls were really good too“

“We went for supper and there were parties that evening. We were seated outside the main area which wasn't a problem for us. The dishes were amazing with great 'wok hey'! The problem was more when the party inside started and waiters for the not main area were scarce.“

“The first thing I have to say about this restaurant is the wok Hei is on point. You can't go wrong with the beef padsew. The smoky flavour that the wok gives, you can't find it everywhere. The salt and pepper calamari are just fingerlicious. The spiciness combines with the wok hei is so fragrant. I like to have the snow flower fat beef hot pot. The beef is so tender, but sometimes the cut is too tick. The small pot can easily feed 3 adults. In terms of service, it can be improved. Don't really expect top-notch customer services in Chinatown. The decor is typically chinese restaurant decor. The price is very good for the quality and quantity.“

“Ji Chang Fun is one of my Cantonese favourites -- stuff my mom and grandmother used to make, that I delighted in. I frankly can't be bother to make it -- actually, I have almost no idea of even where to start. So Ji Chang Fun is my go to for this delightful food when I'm feeling the need for old school ji chang fun and congee. The food here is very authentic -- relatively inexpensive, quick service, and like most authentic Chinese restaurants leaves a little to be desired with respect to atmosphere. But it's pretty reasonably priced.Have the beef/shrimp and Chinese cabbage -- it's delicious, and if you are really feeling in the authentic mode, there's nothing better than the congee with pork and preserved duck eggs. Seriously.“

“Came for a quick bite and it was great! They are connected to a roasted meat shop so you get fresh roasted pork! Super flavorful and crispy meat! This is something you must get if you are new to Chinese cuisine! You have to order the menu items from your phone through a web browser and they come out relatively quickly. You also end up paying from your phone as well. I like this system because it's fast and you can order whenever you want. Overall the food was pretty good! Taste the same as any other dim sum place though.“

“I got off work in the area, starving, and it was the only chinese restaurant that was left open, short of going downtown. I did not expect anything but I must say I was blown away by the place. Was craving salt & pepper squid and they did not disappoint. Batter coooked to perfection, super crunchy with tender squid. The portions are very good, not to say too much because there can never be such thing. I've also had fried rice, which was fresh and soft, clearly not days old rice as some places. Speaking of freshness, their sea food is incredibly so and I'm not sure how they do it. My lobster sauce shrimps came out amazing, thick sauce, did I say fresh? shrimpies and so much ground meat. Their spices is on point, must be the best one I've ever had anywhere. Overall very good prices, you get tons of food and the lady that greeted and took my order was the nicest. Zero complaints and will definitely go again.“
