Satisfied our Dosa carvings successfully at this place. Best sambar that I had in recent times. Chutney was a little watery, but the taste was amazing. We had egg dosa, masala dosa and podi idly, all the dishes are great and the spice on the podi idly is on point. Will definitely visit again when we are back in montreal.
I went there a few days ago. I was craving South Indian food. I ordered chicken Masada dosa and idli with coconut chutney & sambar. It was my first time trying at Chennai Express. You have to wait at least 20 minutes because of the preparation. Everything is freshly prepared with love. The chef is very professional and polite. The kitchen looked clean but messy. I had the Idli Sambhar and it was worth the waiting time to prepare it. This is as good as it gets in terms of quality. It might be a small place but it delivers big flavours. I also had the Dosa and it’s just as good.
