It's -13°C/ 8°F outside, one of those days in Montreal where the wind is biting your cheeks and its hard to find something to warm you up. Coming into McKibbins the first thing that hits you is a warm atmosphere with good music(at least towards the end of the evening) that warms your heart. Secondly the food, in my case a wonderful Irish onion soup, warms the body and soul. A classic student bar, with easy predictable food and drinks. It hasn't changed in decades and that's okay. The food is tasty, the drinks are well priced and the staff is friendly, you can't ask for much more in the are.

Dynamite food and services. Men's bathroom could use a little work. Like being lit a blaze, fumigated and rebuilt, then patrons hazmat suits upon entry, but otherwise just an awesome Montreal pub. Double down on the Nachos.
