At first we were skeptical because it looked closed, but we read that many of herbs, lettuces and veggies are grown there. In addition all leftovers are sent to local food banks. The food is delicious especially the asparagus soup, grilled cheese sandwich and veggie sandwich on foccacia.
This is a great place for a quick bite to eat. There is a cafeteria style lunch line. So it’s quick, but the food is good and the scenery is nice.
The entrance is on the end of the trail opposite the main entrance.
They serve beer and wine so you may want to stop there first before taking your stroll through the garden.
