Definitely a historic place to experience in the heart of Mile End. Make sure to get the special and try one of their home made sodas, you won't regret it. Prices are low (5$), but the lunch is also light as they define it. Might need two sandwiches each.
In town for few days and this place was recommended for a quick on the go lunch. I went in for the special for 5$ and was greeted by a very friendly staff. Had the sandwich in hand in less then a minute as they are constantly making them. First bite, OMG!! Super hot and crispy bun. A good amount of meat to bun ratio. I am now hooked on this delightful sandwich. I was disappointed they are closed Sunday and Monday as I would have gone everyday. I wish I got two specials that day....read full review
