“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars”

I can honestly say Sushi Hin is my favorite sushi place in the West Island. I have been there twice and the quality and service is very consistent. On my last visit i was there for lunch in a group of four and we were offered items that are only available for the night service. I thought that was a nice gesture and we really appreciated how far they went to win our loyalty to the restaurant. i highly recommend you give them a try.”

“We are great fans of the Imperial restaurant. We love to go for Dim Sum and their dumplings are very plump filled with yummy goodness. We also adore their sticky rice. We tend to go first thing in the morning and there is always space. The staff are pleasant and service is very fast. We received our order 7 minutes after placing it online using the code on our table. We recommend the Imperial for Dim Sum fans in the West Island as we are loyal customers who are so happy they are here.”

Andrea is true professional and valuable asset to your establishment. I had the Versailles, which has the cinnamon bun and that bun is for me a perfect cinnamon bun, surrounded by fresh fruit and the egg: that is my go to plate.”

“Got stuck in this area and had to bring my car to a mechanic beside this restaurant. Was the bright part of my day. Ordered breakfast here and it was amazing. Very fresh ingredients and home made bread. Only two people working and they looked busy but still took the time to warmly serve me. I hope I did not bother them as I think I came past their schedule. Would happily go back here when I am in Pointe Claire. Very good breakfast restaurant and in-house bakery.”

“La Diperie in Pointe-Claire is the favourite ice cream spot for my wife and I. We love the choices of dips and coatings and the ice cream is of an excellent quality. BUT I did not give full stars for service because for some reason the opening hours are often not respected. On multiple occasions when the shop is posted as being open we are majorly disappointed when we arrive and the doors are locked. The latest time was this past Saturday in mid afternoon, probably the last beautiful summery weather day on a weekend for 2024...and it was closed up tight! So we went down the street and made do with another ice cream shop. The word of advice if you don't want to be disappointed is to call ahead, don't believe what you see posted on Google for the 'open' status, it's often not correct.
UPDATE: The response from the La Diperie Team was also disappointing, they completely ignored the complaint about not respecting their opening hours. Am I to presume no effort will be made to correct this pattern?”

So as you would expect my food was cold since it was to go. There is potential here, staff need to synchronize and communicate. Sure I could have gone back in and asked to redo my order but I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes to get the same outcome.”

The store is cleaner and tidier. There used to be a trash can outside with a lot of debris, but now it has been emptied and there are plants and flowers at the door.

I used to only order takeout, but now I am willing to dine in because the atmosphere feels good.

Although the new owner is a little slow in serving food, she was very sincere and enthusiastic, and the food portions are also large.”

I mentioned I’m not a fan of well-done smash burgers and prefer mine juicy. Without hesitation, he assured me it would be perfect.

I ordered a Pepsi and said no fries, but he insisted they were on the house because he wanted me to have the full experience. After I paid, he told me to grab a seat and he’d bring it over.

Within five minutes, he appeared with a huge burger wrapped in foil, fresh fries, and my Pepsi. He even brought ketchup, saying it was needed for the fries. And he wasn’t wrong—the fries were exceptional.

As for the burger, unwrapping it was an experience in itself—juices flowing out of the wrapper, flavor in every bite. Absolutely amazing.

“We love Emma's. The new location is fabulous. Lots of room to park. And lots of room to party. We love the live music. We love the pizza and their baked pasta is delicious. But since we go for social gatherings we don't really mind at all.”

The moussaka was delicious but the piece was good enough for two meals. The $65 option on the menu was crazy and too much food for 1 person. They should rethink the menu and prices.”
