“Clean, warm, well received. Since I tried it I have been surprised by the quality of the beef and the bond created with the staff. I digest well, it’s a very good sign, my stomach only appreciates good beef. It has entered my list of favorite restaurants.”
“Good food for a small restaurant like this. A few steps from the water's edge and boat descent. A little long to get served but good. Maybe the sun and the heat made it take a long time...?There is no more restaurant since my last review. Only the creamery now...”
“I actually eat here like once every 2 weeks. The sushi is always so fresh. You can even add things or take things off you sushi. Always very welcome. They even started to recognize me and remembered my orders. Always smiling. Love this place highly recommend. And good prices for what you get ♥️”
“We took two burgers from the drive through. The wait time was a little bit long, but the burgers were fresh from the oven and delicious. It is a convenient spot for getting food.I didnt get a chance to go inside and check the atmosphere, but it seemed alright.”
“Pou-Tails... What a Canadian concept! Only thing missing was maybe some maple bacon :-) Strawberry Lemoonade was great. Not overly sweet, and cools you off nicely (Brain-Freeze!!!)”
“We’re always pleased with the meal we had, everything was great service too! Never disappointed, only thing is the Poutine Déjeuner wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, their breakfast potatoes weren’t as good as usual, a bit under cooked!!”
“Excellent service and excellent food. We loved the salad/dessert and soup bar. It adds a plus to this type of à la carte buffet restaurant. We appreciated that there were two options for dinner. Depending on your hunger, you can have the salad bar - dessert / soup as well as rice and two items (or 1 for children). The service was excellent, I was informed when it was very hot, when it was spicy for my daughter... we brought a pitcher of water at the start.Only problem. One of the TVs had TVA sports. But this afternoon it was a hunting show, not very interesting when eating. Otherwise it was perfect, clean and a very fair price. Plus it’s bring your own wine. We live far away but we will come back if we return to the area.Vegetarian options: Salads and some vegetable dishes. But nothing seen with tofu (lunch in tk).Kid-friendliness: 2 choices of children's menus $9 or $10.50 (all you can eat) both include the salad/soup/dessert bar so my daughter was delighted!”
“There was no meat or any potatoes left, yet the worker did everything she could to accommodate us. She first gave us substitutions for the meat they didn’t have, and for the potatoes, she gave us two chocolate chip cookies ! Such a sweetheart! Also, she gave us fresh potatoes since i’ve been staying for a while!!!! Also, the ambiance is crazy, the workers r singing, and very well at that.”
“We had the tasting menu with Canadian and European wine pairings. Each of the five courses was uniquely tasty and well balanced. Wines enhance the flavors of meals. The service was impeccable, with special mention to the sommelier who was very friendly.Great atmosphere.”
“Great service and wonderfully delicious food. Quite an exhausive wine list. Would definitely recommend this restaurant yearning for fine French dinning with a creative modern taste.”
“I've been wanting to discover this restaurant for a long time! 2 of us went there and we ate well! We were seated at the bar overlooking the kitchen. I had a hotaru ika mazemen which was very good! I had never seen or eaten hotaru ika, it was an excellent surprise. We also had sashimi as a starter and... to die for! An excellent experience!”
“It is my fourth time coming to this restaurant. For 65$ you can feast on the best food of your life. The mushroom pizza is a must, so is the entree with the beets. The service is also incredible. I judge good service by wether or not my water ever gets empty. And it never does here. Someone will always be paying attention to your table making sure your glass is refilled. And this shows their care for your experience beyond judt water, of course. My favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.”
“It’s amazing. They took the time to give coffee and umbrellas to people who were waiting to come in. Who does that? They do. Go now for the Cabane a sucre platter”
“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!”
“Service was impeccable. We sat at the bar - the bartender (David) was knowledgeable, friendly, excellent. He seemed too be the busiest person in the restaurant, yet always had a moment to check on us - I have no complaints - our meal was superb - although I might say the desert was "ordinary" while our entree and main courses were superb - I had the swordfish, my wife the black cod. A bit pricey, yet, the ambience, service and flavourful meal give reason for this.”
“The disappointment was probably linked to the expectations being too high because clearly it is good. It's even very good. The wine list is not up to par, however. The nice surprise is the very reasonable bill. So the value for money is really crazy.”
“Everything is super nice! The food is good (the fries are delicious), the alcohol menu is impeccable and the service (from Sabrina) was attentive and warm! I recommend!”
“Nora Grey is a highly celebrated restaurant in Montreal. In terms of service and atmosphere, I can see why. The food though? Good, but way overpriced. Like WAY overpriced.60$ for half a bavette, and a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes. The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.”
“Best restaurant in Montreal. Food, atmosphere, service are excellent. Just try once and I guarantee you will always want to come back. Кушайте на здоровье и получайте истинное удовольствие от русской и европейской кухни. Особая благодарность хозяйке за её труд и доброту души. СПАСИБО!!!”
“On a adoré ! cocktail, huitres et tartare de bar, poisson frit en entrée, suivi des parpadelles et de la pieuvre, sans oublier les cannolis miammmmm! Excellent service et ambiance dynamique. Nous reviendrons.”
“The atmosphere is trendy and inviting and the service was impeccable without being pretentious. Each dish was delicious while featuring seasonal ingredients. We particularly liked the radish salad. Nice selections of natural wines and cocktails. Do not miss!”
“Loved the foods and great service from Laurie. Unfortunately its always a long line before getting a table, but its always the case when a restaurant is popular :)”
“Bustling French brasserie. Excellent food. Service was good although I felt we didn’t get the same attention as francophone customers but it didn’t result in issues. I can recommend the place and would definitely come back for the food. Fish soup, croc monsieur, quiche are recommended. I also liked you can take your time here despite the business in this restaurant!”
“I like how the staff didn’t bother using any French on me and assumed I was an English speaking American. ? The food was amazing. Staff was great. I was under the weather so I didn’t get to engage as much with the restaurant or people and ordered takeout to eat at home. The energy of the restaurant was positive and of course smelled great.I ordered the spicy wing combo with spaghetti and it was the pick me up I needed. I opted for spaghetti as the side and still got blessed by the team with rogue delicious spicy fries along with a delicious dipping dipping sauce. As someone who is used to fried chicken in the southern United States, this was a top tier fried chicken meal.”
“Fun atmosphere, good drinks, delicious brownies and kind staff. Plus the original way to get in the building through a hidden door and doorbell was a nice touch adding to the overall experience.”
“Finally an edomae style omakase in Montréal! each nigiri was a piece of art and the kaiseki was amazing. Even if it was a take out, it was well worth it. Can't wait to try the experience at the restaurant!”
“A success from the start. Welcoming team, warm atmosphere and a menu to make you drool. Mackerel, rabbit, spanking, vegetables and even more... Everything cooked to perfection and with respect for the seasons. One visit is not enough.”
“The dishes are very good and fresh. I ate a seafood chow mein and the plate was generous. The heating did not work and it was quite cold in the (temporary) room. People who come for “Take out” disturb the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a small cafeteria style restaurant. The trip is worth it. This is not a BYOB.”
