“The food and service is absolutely wonderful at Mr. Dumpling. It has been and remains my favorite "asian food restaurant" in Verdun since its opening a few years ago. It's a great place to have lunch / dinner! I highly recommend ?“
“This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in town. I ordered General Tao and chicken Pad Thai, and their portions were so generous; the food was delicious. The protein and veggies are well balanced. I wasn’t expecting to have a salad with the General Tao, but it was there, and the veggies were fresh. Both meals had a Vietnamese-style touch, and I loved it!“

“Very comprehensive menu, there is something for everyone. Mix of Asian and American dishes. The Shake Shake fries are well seasoned. In fact, everything we ordered was very good. They make handmade biscuits which are really excellent. They give some to customers at the end of the meal but you can buy some in bags for home or to give as gifts. The service is very good. Great experience, I recommend it.“
“The owner is super sweet and the food is delicious. I recommend the jjajangmyeon, the bowl is huge for only 20$. I also tried some of my friends' japchae and it was really good. Unfortunately we didn't order any entrees but they seemed delicious and I will definitely try some next time.“
“So far, the best sushis and bibimpap I had in weeks!! Ingredients are FRESH❤️❤️❤️I recommend 100%I love the owners, they are so kind with the clients. The service is always perfect and quick. That's a good point since I work and don't have much time for lunch! You beloved client,Hajar“
“First time at m.ramen and certainly not the last. The takoyaki melts in your mouth in an explosion of succulent flavors. The karaage is simply delicious and what about the ramen...wow! The owner and chefs are super friendly. Thanks for the dining experience and see you soon!“
“Excellent food, we had salmon pot, papaya salad, veggie curry and chicken vermicelli bowl and everything was very delicious. Tempura shrimps had a bit too much batter but all and all, its very good. Staff was very nice, price is good for griffintown. Will go back and try some of the other experience on the menu. “
“In the heart of the industrial and business district of Longueuil and near the Parcours du Cerf, this small Sushi and Poke Bowl restaurant is a very interesting choice for dinner at the office!Every time I go there, I get a Poké Bowl and they are always delicious. Well stocked, fresh and varied, it's perfect for dinner. Around $18-20 for a good dinner. Choice of drinks, aloe water, soft drinks and Asian drinks. The service is always kind and fast. Last time they added a free soup for me to taste. I appreciated this attention.#: sushi, Poké Bowl, Korean dinner, Longueuil, restaurant, soups, bibim bap, Bubble tea, makiVegetarian options: Vegetarian Poké availableParking: Two parking spaces reserved for the restaurant“
“I was so proud of invited my friend to this well know restaurant. New clean environment, I ordered fish and lamps , food is delicious, tasty.. actually any kind of choices depends on what you like . As long as I m in Downtown is my best place to enjoy meals . Owner is kind good service. Thank you I will definitely return .“
“My favorite sushi/poke place to go after work on my way home! Very friendly staff with a great variety on their menu! I usually take a sushi Fanta with something else. I absolutely love their pokebowl & combo ❤️Amazing service & food !!“
“Very good dumplings! But they're often out of the vegan options! Also I ordered the vegan "pizza" option and they put cheese on it, dairy cheese, and a good thing I doubled checked and ask because they indeed put real cheese... Odd since it's explicitly written vegan. Anyways, for the rest, I love their tofu dumplings they're the best in town in my opinion!!! Also I recommend the peanut butter noodles soooo yummy! I recommend this place for great dumplings!“
“NOTE: This is a two-for-one review...we visited Yama during a soft opening in mid April 2023 but they had not yet set up their Google Maps link at the time so I was unable (and eventually forgot) to write a review. We returned for New Year morning 2024 brunch and are now combining the two reviews together.First...the overall architectural style of Yama is modern, bright and sophisticated. You certainly sense you are going to enjoy some fine dining as you enter the restaurant. It is divided into multiple small sections that help convey a more intimate atmosphere (and prevent noise pollution) but there are a number of glass walls that help keep the restaurant airy. Overall, a definite positive in styling and design.DINNER: Visiting during a soft opening period in April 2023, we had a glorious and overwhelming meal. With a bottle of Antonio Park's sake at the ready, our dinner started with the Seasonal Salad (very good), the Toro Tiradito (very good) and a massive Seafood Platter...out of this world in volume and all excellent (see pictures for reference)..finishing off with a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake (delicious). A truly wonderful evening and great and friendly service.BREAKFAST: Several months later, on Jan 1, we visited for a morning breakfast which was understandably quiet (considering all the New Year's Eve revelry before). For this meal we had the Korean Short Rib Eggs Benedict (excellent...very tasty), the Banana Foster Waffle (very good), the English Breakfast (excellent) coupled with a side plate of fruits and a chocolatine. Every was great. Service was good too.Overall, a fun place to go and enjoy either an evening or a breakfast. Enjoy!“
“Had not been back in a long while (pre covid) but Jatoba remains a great spot, fantastic quality food, and great service. Inevitably prices have gone up quite a bit, which makes this an expensive eat, and now more of a special occasion place for me. Regardless, still strongly recommend if looking for great Japanese fusion in downtown Montreal.“
“Très bon resto thaï-cambodgien. Portion généreuse , prix très raisonnable, service excellent! Nous y allons depuis leur tout début et ne sommes jamais déçus. Ah oui....si vous aimez la nourriture piquante demandez et vous recevrez!“
“My recent DoorDash order from this sushi restaurant was a satisfying experience. I opted for a salmon poke bowl, and it was fresh and satisfying. Nothing extra special or particularly fancy, this was what you would expect for the price. I would reorder from this restaurant.“
“This Mon Ami location stands out as my favorite in the chain! The food is SO GOOD! I like how their menu, featuring unique items like corndogs, which sets it apart from other branches. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also affordable. Also the staff is so friendly and kind!“
“Oustanding place but they barely speak English or French. Food is top notch, fresh and consistant.Highly recommended, we have ordered from here dozens of times and travel to come here.Terrasse is large and lighted. Its location could be better for more accessibility but to be honest how can one complain when you have delivery, pre order, takeout and dine in as options.Plenty of seating inside and out. You walk in and you can see them making the sushi on the spot. Produce used is consistantly fresh and while i was waiting there for only 20 minutes for a larger order there was plenty of activity and orders comming in.Highly recommended try it and let me know. Check my review for menu and pictures.“
“Après quelques expériences décevantes pour trouver des sushis décents dans Villeray je me suis laissé convaincre par les bons commentaires lus ici. Effectivement, les sushis étaient très frais, bons et le prix décent. Pas les meilleurs en ville pour du take out, mais franchement bien pour la qualité et le prix dans Villeray. J’y retournerai.“
“If you are near this restaurant, it is absolutely worth it to stop. The food is amazing, the portions are incredible, the service is great, and the ambiance is so nice and chill. My friends and I stopped there after walking a while, and it was such a nice and calm place to eat and talk. Do not miss the opportunity to try their amazing food!!!!!!!Ps: The fried rice with chicken, a piece of cake, and the litchi drink is a heavenly combo ??“
“Cozy and really original place. They have a variety of different asian dishes and they're all good !We did not pick the tasting menu because we wanted to pick our own dishes. The Vietnamese beef salad and the salmon tartare were the highlight of the night.Great experience overall, you should give it a try !“
“My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night after a long day. We were so impressed by every aspect of our experience here, especially the service. I ordered La Boeuf L'Orange and my husband had Poulet General Tao aux legumes. Our food was hot and delicious. We also ordered two Beignets for dessert, one banana and one apple. The ice cream was so delicious with a nice lingering aftertaste. The Beignets were hot and crispy. This was an amazing birthday treat for dinner! Highly recommend.“
“The food is delicious and I was able to get a beef bimbimbop with extra beef with a drink for under 20$, the staff was extremely well trained and very accomodating, especially in my case as I have a service dog. And the music choice of Kpop was just, Amazing. This honnestly is becomming my go-to korean resto when Im downtown.“
“The best for your bang, their $10 chicken katsu combo is a steal for a food court meal. The service is usually pretty fast and their meals come with a complementary soup (wonton or miso). Their portion sizes are huge!!! I often have a hard time finishing everything. That being said, don't expect the best customer service, they're curt and a little cold but that's how they keep churning out food at a fast pace. I always come here after classes, since it's so close to McGill.Update: I returned back to Sushi Momoyama after graduating from McGill and the food still tastes great! The chicken katsu is $15 after tax, not too shabby for mall prices. Lots of people took the poke bowls, so I might need to try that for next time!“
“Discovering this hidden gem of a restaurant was a delight. Everything surpassed expectations – from the delectable food at a reasonable prices and the excellent, charming service. It was a perfect dining experience that left a lasting impression, making it a place I'd eagerly return to.“
“This is a very friendly small restaurant. The food is amazing especially the meat ball with bread and big bone soup!!! We really enjoyed. Only the price is cheap, but not their food nor their service! I appreciate server’s kindness also! My kids were distracted and me, I was asking for many tiny things like a spoon, another bowl, more these more those. I feel very grateful for them who helped me have a great meal!“
“An absolute hidden gem for authentic Chinese cuisine. Great prices and good portions, but most importantly amazing taste!I have been there on multiple occasions and plan on going more. My personal favorites are their pad sew, chow mein and sweet & sour pork. Pay them a visit and you won't be disappointed!“
“The restaurant was empty when we arrived. I think it’s more of a takeout place but the had nice tables where we were seated. The service was amazing our waiter was very nice, he has to leave so the owner took the lead and he was very pleasant and friendly. We had the wonton soup, a salad, teriyaki chicken (hope it has more sauce), chicken coriander dumplings and beef coriander dumplings and all were delicious ! The price was very descend as well. Would definitely come back, I highly recommend it !“
“Super souper ce samedi! Le plateau de sushi classique était excellent! Les entrées sont ultra généreuses et excellentes, je vous recommande fortement la salade vietnamienne. Super service, prix très raisonnable et personnel très sympathique! Les enfants étaient les bienvenus et il y a un bel étang à poissons très agréable à regarder. En plus, il y un forfait souper-spectacle avec la salle andre- mathieu, profitez en! Belle découverte de resto, nous y retournerons!!“
“WoW! The price of the food is affordable. I couldn't believe where I was (Montreal!) when I saw the price. The foods are great for the price. I don't think you will regret trying this place. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere as well. Enjoy ~~~“
“We discovered this restaurant this year and we go back there 2-3 times a month. The service is very friendlyand the food is really delicious, generous and tasty portion and we bring our own wine.Reservation suggested.Yesssssssss. !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The last time I went here was with my mother and grandmother and the service was exceptional, the food was delivered incredibly quick, portion sizes were large and definitely worth their prices, and I scarfed my food down faster than I ever have before there! I got biscuits and gravy and 2 eggs over medium and they were delicious and my eggs were cooked to perfection!!“
“i have eaten at Sesame only a few times & had take-out twice.I am pleasantly surprised each time. They make the absolute best dumplings i have had in the Montreal area. Fresh & light! Very tasty. Their service is impeccable & polite. The atmosphere is Asian chic & airy without being stuffy. It is not inexpensive but i feel it is worth the price!“
“Nous avons commandé pour une première fois et ça ne sera certainement pas la dernière! Nous avons commandé plusieurs plats pour emporter: salade de concombre aigre-piquant, dumplings aux crevettes, porc-ciboulette et chou-champignons, avec les xiao long bao choix du chef (un mix de plusieurs saveurs). Tout était délicieux et prêt à temps. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute!“
