“Fantastic community gem. Mouton Noir catered a 4 year-old birthday party on Sunday and it couldn't have been nicer. The kids played on the green and parents ordered coffee and drinks from the counter. Then we had a wonderful catered spread for lunch for kids and adults - everything was delicious and everybody ate a ton! Phil was so lovely and easy with the planning and couldn't have been nicer. The staff was kind and responsive. I feel so lucky to have such a nice cafe at the rec center and in the park!“
“This cafe is my regular haunt for its fantastic coffee. Although there's a slight variation in taste depending on the barista, it remains an excellent spot overall. The ambiance is cozy, and the service is consistently friendly. Highly recommended for a reliable coffee fix.“
“The staff are absolutely lovely, the atmosphere homey and warm, a great neighbourhood spot; all that plus the best quality coffee that doesn't require milk, cream or sugar to make it palatable. If the food only gets 4 stars, that's because I can't eat sugar, flour, etc,Kid-friendliness: The staff are unfailingly courteous to everyone. I have been with my granddaughters - no problem.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is sidewalk level. I have seen people in wheel chairs. The only problem I can imagine is space. It's not a huge café, but in normal uncrowded conditions there should be no problem.“
“Uber ordered their egg sandwich and loved it so decided to visit the place for breakfast to explore ?. I repeated the egg sandwich and was great. Also tried the bagel with cream cheese and the egg burrito and were really good. Cosy nice place and friendly staff.“
“I came here with my family for sandwiches one afternoon. I had heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. I ordered the fuggetaboutit and I enjoyed the flavors. The fries, which come separate, were pretty standard. While the sandwich was good, I didn't think it was one of the best sandwiches in the city. I also felt the menu was a bit limited, so I'm not sure I need to come back as I got to try the dish that I wanted.Overall I'm happy to have tried it, but not exactly worthy of a second visit.“
“Small quaint place with with small brunch like menu. Their mixed salad with lardon and dressing was delicious. I found their vegetable soup was very salty. They have a nice covered terrasse to eat your goodies. Will come back to try their beautiful presented desserts.“
“Wowww coming in the little cafe is like walking into Grandma’s house. So warm and inviting! Smells delicious you want to try everything !I had the fresh grilled croissant ham and cheese sandwich - melt in your mouth!Paired it with an amazing cappuccino with an added heart shaped foam which I thought was the cutest thing.Having trouble leaving. Lollll“
“The people working there were so kind and patient while we took so long to choose and edit our meal, the food was so so good, absolutely delicious, the breakfast sandwiches were the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was nice they played good music.“
“I visited this well known Italian cafe for a morning coffee.I have to mention how elegant and timeless the decor is, its the perfect spot to grab a hot drink and sit for a moment with a friend or a date.I had a latte to go.It was absolutely the best latte I ever had in Montreal. It was silky smooth, very rich and creamy. Id recommend it to any coffee fan.“
“commandé 2 plateaux de 30 morceaux ch. il est arrivé avec 1 plateau et après le décompte il y avait que 50 morceaux. Après commandé 5 repas reçu 4 et 15 min.à 20 min. plus tard reçu la 5ième entrée on m'avait oublié, pour se racheter il nous on offre 2 entrées genre oeuf visceux moyen comme goût. Désolé pour le service. A+“
“I took a manoushé for takeout, so I can’t say about dine in experience. However, I have eaten an unspeakable amount of manoushé in Montreal, and I can confirm this to be a top choice. The labneh is simply incredible, you’ll want to bathe in it.If you’re lucky, get their halva brownie and go straight to heaven. Trust.“
“Toujours un plaisir de s’arrêter à ce charmant café hiver comme l’été. Un endroit sympathique et chaleureux qui nous transporte, le temps d’un café. Au pays des Gina Lolobrigida, Fabio Cannavaro. Jarmo Trulli. Federico Fellini et Luciano Pavarotti pour ne nommer que ceux-ci. Que de mieux qu’un cappuccino accompagné d’un panettone Merci la vie.“
“Very friendly, family-run café with “home” style cuisine. We are happy to encourage a new business in the neighborhood. Thank you for the warm welcome and see you soon!Dietary restrictions: Several plant-based milksKid-friendliness: Very popular toy and games corner“
“I don’t have the words to articulate how pleased I was with my recent experience here. We ordered a latte, an americano, and numerous baked goods, including mini pizzas, focaccia, and chocolate croissants. Everything was absolutely incredible! It is so rare to find a fully vegan cafe that offers this level of quality, especially at such a fair price point. Even though it was very busy when we visited, the employees were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. Absolutely phenomenal place with some of the best food I have ever eaten, and greatest coffee I’ve tasted. If I lived in the area I would surely visit every day.“
“One of the best coffee spots in Montreal. A small and cozy place that offers an amazing and tasty coffee. I went there with my wife to grab a coffee and some croissants which was absolutely tasteful. The service is wonderful and the owners are so friendly. Prices are compatible with the quality offered.Vegetarian options: They have almond milk“
“I passed there all the time and it is always packed with great looking people and the baristas are all so congenial..smiling faces , great place. And they let me post my music poster there.. The good looking barista even offered me some tape to get my poster up. She's lovely !“
“Ive yet to find a cafe like Limoo. The place is beautiful a perfect ambiance with gorgeous furniture and so much seating space (even chargers.) The service was also spectacular you can tell the owner cares about quality and hires according staff. I had a Kabab sandwich and was just blown away, fresh and healthy ingredients and just so delicious def up there as my favourite montreal sandwich. I also had a detox sweet green smoothie and of course it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Limoo to everyone I know simply the best cafe.“
“One of my favorite cafes in this city. They make the absolute best coffees and even the decaf is amazing! Super fun italian coffee bar style with retro vibes. Very unique and non boring for a change in this city. The staff are all super kind in a great mood! Their deserts are to die for! I highly recommend it if you want a unique experience, good mood, and disconnect from your phone and actually talk with humans. Thank you Caffettiera for opening your doors to us!“
“Came here with friends and the mini crêpes were really delicious! We had 30 puffs and chose two of the recommended recipes, and they really disappeared within 5 minutes. The Professor recipe (banana, strawberry and chocolate) was just perfect for dessert after our heavy meal, not too sweet and light enough to enjoy without being too much, and the apple caramel recipe (which comes with a choice of ice-cream or whipped cream) would be awesome for anyone who likes apple crumbles, cinammon and fall style desserts. Coffee and oreo milkshake was good too. The price is great, and the owner was super kind and helpful. We'd arrived a little before the opening time and he generously let us stay inside, gave us a lot of time to choose and kindly answered all our questions. Really glad I came here! Will definitely be back.“
“The atmosphere was instantly welcoming with Diba and her father asking us about our days and giving us a run down of the cafe. Her mother's cakes, especially the pistachio cake, were heavenly. My boyfriend loved them so much that he expects to have them every time he comes back. The persian latte and the persian fog were decorated with love and have notes of pistachio and saffron.I am definitely going to try everything on the menu, but I just had to write this review because I felt that I had found a gem.“
“If you love tea you will love this place!!! Great tea, great food and cakes, great place, friendly staff and easy music playing and a good place to meet people. Very nice place in a very friendly neighbourhood :-) highly recommended :-) if you live locally or simply passing through Parkdale :-)“
“This is the best spot to grab a coffee in Brossard!! Such a lovely ambiance and the customer service is fantastic, from the owner to the baristas, everyone here is so nice and welcoming! My cappuccino was excellent and the barista’s latte art skills were top-notch. Stop here if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it!“
“We celebrated a trio of birthdays while we were visiting Montreal. Nolan is super cool vibes and cozy. We let our waiter who I believe is one of the owners curate a menu for our group of 6 at a price point that we set. Felt like we had a great variety of food and good portions and they were able to accommodate some items for my dietary preferences. The food was really good but what was the best was the service. The workers were warm and so friendly and we stayed many hours enjoying the vibes. Highly recommend!“
“I was close to berri-uqam station in st. catherine and I didn’t have much time to choose a place to eat, so I saw this spot and I liked the quality of their sandwitches , and they have friendly staff.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwitch“
“This cute cozy café is located in the heart of old port and is a perfect spot to grab desserts/small sandwiches to go or sit down and enjoy your coffee, dessert or breakfast sandwich. They open at 6am, so perfectly suitable for early birds. The staff are very nice and friendly; they made special cold drinks for us and recommended best options to eat.We tried their Tiramisu, Nutella-Cookie and Pistachio Bombolini. My favorite was Nutella-Cookie; I will always come back to try more.“
“the latte was so good, made me smile after the first sip! i’ve been meaning to check this spot for awhile since living really close to it. so happy that i went. the atmosphere was great. tried the pastry with the dates in them. i was so full after eating it?. went around 2pm on a weekday. there were seats to read. also the customer service was excellent! i think the latte is very addicting there (too good), but it’s much more affordable than other places!!“
“A snob place in Griffintown. You can't make a reservation but the hostess asks you if you have a reservation every time and looks at you in despair when you say no. The food is excellent. I had the pasta with bolognese sauce, which seems basic but when it's done well, wow. And Mano Cornuto set the bar high. My friend had a Caesar salad which is huge btw, but so good. The waiters are very qualified, explain their special in a way that you want to try it. Great cocktail. But go ahead with the idea that you won't be annoyed by the hostesses who give you a really bad welcome.“
“Extremely tasty cinnamon rolls, house-made granola, and english muffin egg sandwiches. Friendly service -- order at the counter and food comes to your table when ready. Plus f ully ♿ accessible, including washroom. Thank you Finca!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a little step across the front doorway, like 3 cm. But once inside it's easy and flat to navigate, including the washroom.“
“An extraordinary place with very special decor, full of retro objects! I stopped by for a croissant ? I was in a hurry, the lady was with a customer but served me before in a friendly manner ? I associate her excellent service and excellent atmosphere! I also heard about their muffins and biscuits, that will be for next time! Recommended ??Vegetarian options: PastriesMuffinsCookiesDrinksKid-friendliness: Very happy for childrenWheelchair accessibility: I think it's easy to get into“
“We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around“
“The atmosphere is so cute, not to mention the name of the café itself very good for a date or just going out with friends for a coffee with a good pastry. The tastes are varied and special. I recommend the base of the base the strawberry shortcake ? ??“
“Very good latte, the notes are potent and you can choose light or dark roast espresso. Scones are nice and crunchy. The latte does get a bit cold quickly which is fine for me cause I like to drink it fast and not too hot, but would have liked a heads up cause I wouldn’t have waited to drink it :)“
“Adorable and cute coffee shop. The barista was charming and offered good advice. The attention to detail and aesthetics is incredible with pretty drinks and those slices of cake straight out of an animated film. The cakes are fresh, light, delicious and the Sakura matcha is memorable.“
“I hesitated to give this review, because I love that it's a bit hidden and there aren't many people haha.Great place to work in the morning and enjoy the light, and probably the last Cortado under $4 in Montreal. Love this place, thank you!“
“P'tit latte this morning was a banger, the service is exceptional too. I'm going back at noon to try the paninis, I'll keep you informed, team, but I think we've got a nugget ?UPDATE: I ate the panini, I'm not disappointed damneeeeel! Ultimately it's not a classic panini, it's a kind of foccacia, it exudes Italy (I love Sicily) for $10, not gross (they're still just as nice 4 hours later)5? Subscribe for more nuggets (Italian or not, I love lots of other countries)“
“Excellent food and pastries!!The sandwiches, panini and mac and cheese are delicious. The kouinaman is excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the almond croissant...overpriced and no almond cream inside. Rather dry for an almond croissant. The rest I highly recommend!Plan to wait though because there are always people.“
“Coffee (both filter and espresso-based drinks) are always tasty and consistent week in and week out - something hard to find among mtl cafes. Wine selection is one of the most impressively curated in town. Vibes and staff are always on point!“
“Awesome experience working with Lamar at Allo Velo! I really appreciate the great service and attention to detail, from the ongoing communication over many months to the willingness to "modify" the drivetrain to the excellent job of preparing the bike for shipping, I could not be more grateful!“
“We love going there when we are in the area. The owners are charming and very hospitable. The cakes, pastries, and cookies are delicious. We really love the drunken cookies a unique blend of kourabie Stuffed with what seems like baklava. Highly recommend this place.“
“With Verdun having undergone gentrification like no one's business, the next hot-spot is going to be Ville Emard and Monk Boulevard, I think. The pawn shops and thrift shops are disappearing and the cafes with avocado toast and Nutella waffles are showing up. Go now before the place is ruined.Cafe Central keeps a low-key vibe with friendly service, great cofffee, drinks, brunch and breakfast items, cookies, and treats, lots of natural light, vintage furniture and happy green plants everywhere. There's also Wi-Fi and tables so you can work here as well. The vibe here is chill but happy.“
“Small cafe located in the petite Italy. The lady behind the counter was very friendly she prepared the cannoli on the spot for me.The cannoli shell is already made, I did not ask if it was fresh. I assume its a day old because of the stale texture, as for the filling, it was delicious with a ton of rich flavor while still not being too sweet. If you are craving a small cannoli for under 4$ its not a bad choice.“
“Nicest baristas / staff working there. Coffee is pretty decent, but their scones are out of this world! Super crunchy exterior and soft and fluffy on the inside. Apparently their blueberry scones are famous. I can see why! They can heat up the scone in the oven if u like it hot as well!“
“It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to surprise him. The restaurant took us on a journey through the magical flavors of North Indian food. The presentation, the smells and tastes. Truly amazing. Also, they were very friendly and attentive at all times.“
“Had a wonderful experience there. we had bought the bagels next door and went in to buy the coffee. The owner was gracious to offer us seating, plates and utensils so that we could enjoy our breakfast and wouldn't have to sit outside in the cold. very thankful for that. Coffee and croissant were great but the best part was generous hospitality“
“We've often walked by with the intention on trying this charming, understated café-buvette for brunch and we finally found the perfect snowy Sunday for it.We started with the obligatory mimosa (for the basic b in us) after a complimentary cup of maple syrup drizzled fruit. We followed that with an outright divine 8-hour braised ham grilled cheese that knocked our snow-filled socks off and smoked salmon between an English muffin and hollandaise topped eggs bendict we couldn't get enough of. Both dishes came with exquisite potatoes and an essential homemade mayo to dip them in. Needless to say we didn't leave a single crumb of this fantastic, elevated Sunday brunch. Our experience was made all the better by friendly, helpful and extremely quick service.“
“I’ve tried many of the dishes and each time I am over the moon! You can feel the love in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and the playlist is always perfect to set the vibe. The server Alejandro is absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!“
“I bought myself an espresso machine and went to buy coffee at Faro.I met Guy and he took care of me directly. He made me taste different coffees to find my preferences. Then he explained to me in detail how I should go about making delicious espresso.Thank you for your time and valuable advice. Guy and his team are passionate. They don't just want customers, they want us to have the best experience possible.I recommend to everyone“
“We were in the area for some other business and decided to go in for an afternoon coffee and treat. We found parking on the street and paid for our space at the meter. We were quite happy with the food quality and the beverages. We saw one great treat after another, and decided to order a few different things so that we could share. The coffee and latte was deliciousThe service was mediocre, no extra effort to make it extra special just very straight to the point which is fine .The interior decoration was also OK we felt it was lacking something , maybe a Personal touch of sorts.Very nice discovery on Park Avenue .“
“I chose the Cherrier café for a surprise event on the occasion of my beloved wife's 60th birthday...everything went wonderfully, the small intimate room, the big screen for the presentation of a video montage and above everything, the charming and efficient waitress Gabrielle. Thanks again to the whole team!“
“Tucked away in the back of the lobby of this Westmount office building is one of Montreal’s best kept secrets. The authentic diner has none of the fake or forced nostalgia you see from other establishments that have been canonized by this generation of Montrealers. The daily specials are delicious as are the home baked goods. The staff is dedicated and wonderful and the lack of any element of trend, pretentiousness or self-awareness makes this restaurant an absolute gem and classic. Picture “Arthur’s” without the scene. This is a place for those who know, and those who know order homemade soft-shell tacos on Friday.“
