“Wonderful baked goods. The Asiago bagels, croissants, and fruit scones are my personal favorites, but there's lots of choice. Avocado toast is a real treat. Great breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. Excellent coffees. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (in season) seating, except perhaps during morning rush on a sunny summer weekend morning. Very charming atmosphere.“

“Glad we popped over here from Newport. The French toast and breakfast sandwich were delicious. The pastry selection was huge, though we didn’t partake. The line was long, but they were taking orders as fast as the could. This is an order at the bar style cafe. The food came out fast. Nice little outdoor area as well. “Their espresso was really good. We ordered an old fashioned and a latte. Their latte art is the best out of any other coffee shops around the area! I will say it twice, really good coffee!!Parking: Street parking available. There is also a church behind that you could probably park at but not 100% sure.“

“Dietary restrictions: Me and my husband came on a vacation to New Port both of us only eat kosher, and this place was amazing. We ate every meal here and even took food home for dinner each night. It truly made our trip so much more enjoyable, and all of the food is delicious. Everything I tried was delicious and super filling!“

“OK. So there are few restaurants and eateries that knock my socks off and Sprout and Lentil is one of them. In the plant based world there are the greats that are wonderful but not everyday places. Only one other plant based/vegan restaurant has knocked my socks off like Sprout and Lentil and that is Vegalicious in Nashville, TN. And both are very accessible everyday establishments that even meat eaters can enjoy. If I could give Sprout and Lentil 100 stars I would. Go there, order the Royale with cheese, go home, put on Pulp Fiction and enjoy! You will not be disappointed. And if you are ever in Nashville go visit Vegalicious.“

“We were looking for a quick place to eat early in the morning on off season, and Kaffeology hit the spot! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the service was quick, the staff was friendly, Taylor Swift was playing in the background, and the vibes overall were great. The drinks were fun (a Milky Way latte and a Rose Vanilla Latte? yum!) and the restaurant was cute with seating for about 8 people. I would love to stop in again next time I'm in Newport!“

“I absolutely loved this spot. My husband and I decided to come here and check out the local beers in the area . The prices are also really great as well. I loved the inside of the place it was very cozy and rustic, and I love the green room where you can go inside and sit there and have your beer. The only thing is, I wish they sold food inside of the brewery. They had a food truck there and had no prices. Other than that, I really enjoyed coming here, and the vibes were great.“

“Was meeting a friend for a walk at Cliff Walk & stopped here for a vanilla chai latte as I was very early. The latte was great & although I don’t drink coffee the aroma inside was fabulous! There were many folks sitting & enjoying themselves. The line was out the door but the baristas were very efficient & friendly! Will definitely stop in again when I am in town for some of the delicious looking desserts & another chai!“

“My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“

“Rachel, our server, was super upbeat and knowledgeable. The ramen is the best in the state, in my opinion, and I have tried a lotof ramen in RI. Yagi makes their own noodles, I don’t believe there are any other ramen joints in RI who do that. And FINALLY a good restaurant in Newport. They needed one! Boba is great as well, dairy alternatives and awesome flavors. There were also caffeine free options for my kids. We will definitely be back.“

Wow!I was introduced to Scratch Kitchen by Kevin at Innovate Newport as I needed to hire a catering vendor to support a conference. The entire process of working with Steff and Scratch was a partnership and nothing was too much to ask.On the day of the conference, the feedback from my delegates was overwhelmingly wonderful and everyone applauded the menu.Scratch Kitchen and Catering is a fantastic gem of Newport and I can’t wait to come back. “A wonderful local small business! They are a staple of Aquidneck Island. Ice cream is always delicious. Expect a line if you come during peak hours (after school time, weekends, or after dinner time). However the line moves quickly and it's absolutely worth the wait!Prices are very reasonable. It is CASH ONLY so be sure to come prepared, or plan to use the ATM outside. There are a few seats outside but otherwise it is only counter service. Parking can be chaotic but there's a lot outside as well as a lot next door (and you walk over).“

“We parked up at the top of the hill, so we were close to the Mansions. Needed a watering hole after trudging round a Mansion. This place was just opening when we walked by. The beer was nice and cold, priced reasonably compared to the rip off merchants down by the Harbor. Best thing about it was the Owners. They were really personable. So, we came back for a grilled chicken sandwich lunch before heading home. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Wish there were more places like this. Highly recommended.“

“When it comes to coffee, I’m a no-nonsense drinker. However, the maple bourbon latte has led me to driving 40 minutes each way the last couple weekends to get my hands on it. It does get full and loud but I can tune it out. The staff are hella quick. Check out the baklava too!“

“Absolutely fantastic wraps and sausage egg and cheeses a little bit on the price your side if I could give them a 4.5 I would but overall fantastic food the banana bread is a little dry, but when you have a little water balances out Nutella toast is out of this world. It is made on shlty bread, but the shlty bread makes it taste even better. A lack of strawberries pisses me off sometimes, but overall I did give it a 9/10. Their location is very nice and the inside is very well furnished. Service is great. Seven minutes tops to get your food. I don't drink coffee or tea, so I can't talk there but overall the food is very very solid and would highly recommend them. People are also very nice.“

“Ordered a steak and shrimp combo bowl tonight and added a side of street corn salad. My steak came out perfectly cooked and the shrimp was great. I had the house teriyaki sauce and it was a perfect blend of salty and sweet. The street corn salad was so good but I was so full from my main entree that I took it home for lunch the next day. The staff were helpful and friendly. One of the chefs brought out my meal and started a quick conversation. It was busy but my food came out quick and the dining room was warm and welcoming. Overall, I had a great experience at the Food Shack. I will definitely be back!“

“Great neighborhood bar with good food. Got the aviator cocktail, which was very good. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. They didn't have a lot of cocktail options. Food menu was mainly subs and sandwich melts. I got an Italian grinder which was quite good too. Overall good experience.“

“We stayed in Warrick Village for 3 nights and ate here twice! It was that good. The first time, we had a calzone and a chicken parm grinder. Crispy crust, and you pick what you want in it. The grinder was great. Chicken fried crispy and toasty bread. The next time was another calzone, ham and onion pizza, and mozzarella sticks. I think it's the best pizza I ever had. The crust was crispy on the bottom but still soft on inside. I don't like a lot of red sauce and this was perfect. Just a touch.“

All of the food here is delicious, and they have a great selection of raw seafood in the market area.My wife and I really enjoy the Portuguese Fish Chowder...it is the best we've ever had! A little spice and plenty of chunks of shrimp, fish, scallops, potatoes and chourico! This is a life changing bowl of chowda! ?We recently tried the cod fish sandwich and that was tasty as well. I highly recommend stopping in if you've been here; otherwise, you're missing out!“

“Our 1st night there got gluten free fish and chips and was amazing! My brother got the regular fish and chips which they cook in a separate fryer and his fish was almost double in size, but I didn't complain because I was happy I could eat. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and allergens. Went back for lunch another day and got a GF chicken sandwich and fries. Bread typical GF crumbly bun so if you have no choice like me you deal. Had to skip the sauce because there was gluten in it, so again, grateful for the waitress being knowledgeable and on top of it to be sure those with allergies are safe. Parking very tough so if you have someone who can't walk distances go during an off time or drop them off and go park somewhere. I would choose this as a regular option due to my dietary restrictions as long as they remain safe. Bought a 6 pack of the APA too go and a tulip glass. Yeah that pour definitely wasn’t the same . It was just a flight so no biggie but maybe double check the taps for accuracy“

“came here for lunch because I wanted some nachos and fish tacos. this was the perfect spot. the place seems busy all the time, but service is friendly and they are hustling to get you seated and served quickly. we had some nachos and tacos, beer and churros. the fish tacos and catch of the day tacos were great. nacho plate was the bomb. they had plenty of different hot sauces. I will definitely return if ever in the area again.“

“I really enjoyed our experience at Sticks and Cones! We were exploring Newport and were in the mood for ice cream. We came across this place and figured why not try it? There was a little bit of a wait, but we also went in the summer, so it makes sense. The ice cream is well worth the wait! I got an ice cream sundae (with hot fudge and rainbow sprinkles) and my boyfriend got their Black Raspberry Ice Cream on a cone. The ice cream was delicious and the perfect treat on a summer night! The inside of the shop is so cute! It transports you back in time to a classic ice cream shop. If you're headed to Newport, I definitely recommend Sticks and Cones!“

“Tasty Thai takeout! I'd like to eat there next time since the ambiance was so nice. The beef teriyaki and sticky rice were super flavorful and nicely done. The soup was classic and hot, and my favorite item was the fried pork gyoza which was crispy and the dipping sauce was perfect with it. Steak seemed like it was refired after being sliced - maybe it came off too pink or timing was off? Not sure! Really tasty gin martini, absolutely would recommend! Beer list was inaccurate - three IPAs listed but only one was available. Also, it never makes sense to me when local beer served on draft is more expensive than its canned counterpart, particularly when it's something like a brewery's flagship recipe or an easy pale ale. Am excited to see this restaurant's team get some more water under the keel and really come together - I'll be back!“
