“We parked up at the top of the hill, so we were close to the Mansions. Needed a watering hole after trudging round a Mansion. This place was just opening when we walked by. The beer was nice and cold, priced reasonably compared to the rip off merchants down by the Harbor. Best thing about it was the Owners. They were really personable. So, we came back for a grilled chicken sandwich lunch before heading home. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Wish there were more places like this. Highly recommended.“

“My wife and I are vacationing for a quick two day stay in Newport. We came to Pour Judgement at the suggestion of someone who knew of the spot in Providence. We come from a small town and this reminds us of our local watering hole. The patrons are fun and the service is a absolutely stellar. We could not ask for more, this bar made the perfect stop before our nice dinner out on the town. Drinks are poured nicely and the bartenders are unparalleled in their craft.“

“We have added Frankie's to our regular Friday night dinner rotation. The food and the service have been outstanding on every visit. Last night I had an Open Table reservation for a high-top and when we walked in the couple in front of us said they had "called" the previous evening to reserve a high-top. It was pretty obvious, there was only 1 high top available and they had not "called". At first, the staff asked if we wanted a regular table, we declined because we liked the bar area better. In a GREAT customer service move, they immediately honored our hightop reservation and had to put our party of 2 at a 6 top, at the expense of a larger party that may come in. On top of all of this, our server was very friendly, understanding, and attentive. Needless to say, this was one of the best handling of a table "mix-up" we have seen and we greatly appreciated it. Thank you again for a FANTASTIC evening!“

“This a a working man's bar. Or working woman. The people at the bar looked like they get shit done. I think the people that drink here are making life easier for someone. This is not a tourist bar, but do not let the rough look turn you away. This place has cold beer and solid wings. The bartender is a no joke kind of gal, slinging beer and serving food. What made this place great was it was a judgment free kind of joint. I would come back. Get the fries with the smoke house rub.“

“Old Mountain Lanes is a hidden gem in southern Rhode Island. We had an outing there for a parks association meeting and we had a great time. This was the second time we have been there. Great place to bowl of course, but they have a great diner and a bar area. The pizza we had was very good, and others in my group said they had pretty good food there. Although I did not eat at the diner. There is plenty of room for an outing, and / or a meeting. Definitely a good choice. If you're looking for a place for corporate team building, birthday party or other event. I highly recommend it.“

The bar area is modern, cozy, very clean and has good seating space at the bar and with tables around the bar. The place was very busy. Our bartender was Christian. “Our 1st night there got gluten free fish and chips and was amazing! My brother got the regular fish and chips which they cook in a separate fryer and his fish was almost double in size, but I didn't complain because I was happy I could eat. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and allergens. Went back for lunch another day and got a GF chicken sandwich and fries. Bread typical GF crumbly bun so if you have no choice like me you deal. Had to skip the sauce because there was gluten in it, so again, grateful for the waitress being knowledgeable and on top of it to be sure those with allergies are safe. Parking very tough so if you have someone who can't walk distances go during an off time or drop them off and go park somewhere. I would choose this as a regular option due to my dietary restrictions as long as they remain safe. The bartender Lorrie was friendly and fun like your friends cool mom. 80's songs on the play list. Have a beer and watch the local news. It's a laid back, casual vibe that's good for families, as well as couples.We started our dinner with a cocktail... Choosing a cosmopolitan that was quite good! For dinner we had the chicken wraps and the sesame duck. Both were very good...tasty, fresh, and good portion size. My wife and I don't have large appetites so sharing an appetizer and main course works for us.We ended our meal with mango and sticky rice for dessert. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal.
