“Clean, casual modern restaurant. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Their Chinese food is one of the best if not the best in Rhode Island. I first went about 15 years ago. My first visit I had the Orange Crispy Beef! It has consistently been a favorite ever since. They do a great job with all of their food. A few of the many highlights is their delicious Hot and Sour Soup! Very traditional, full of flavors and has a nice kick. Their Egg Rolls are old school with celery, pork, cabbage. These are top notch! If you like wings, they have Asia Wings with a sweet, garlicky, sticky, finger licking good sauce. The wings are crispy in the right places and juicy on the inside. Another favorite of mine is their Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Shrimp is always fresh and the sauce is delicious! Definitely one of my favorite places in New England!“
“I don't know why people expect so much service from a self serve ordering place. There are HUGE kiosks and you pre-pay for your food. There are different categories and regions for your food. They have HUGE screens that show your food is being prepared and then ready. What are people going to do when AI takes over?Anyway, I love the food here...I always get the duck noodle soup with Ho Fun Noodles. I've had the pho and it's also great. Yes it's $25 but people throw $25 on a table to lose in a second? I don't get it. It's a huge portion as well with a Deep bowl. What more do you want? Free? Lol“
“My wife and I just had dinner at Izumi. This is our seventh or eighth time coming and we feel it deserves a review. We travel from Rhode Island to come here, and it is because the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is perfect. We really appreciate the attentiveness of Lester and Soap when we sit in the bar area. These guys are professional, fun, and provide the perfect service for a date night out. Overall, we highly recommend I zoom for Asian fusion meals. We really enjoy it.“

“Step into the Asain (Cambodian) culture! From the architecture, the decor and the food- it's transporting you to the heart of Cambodian cuisine. Extensive menu, but they have everything! Full of flavor, great portions and service is friendly as well. If you don't know what to get, do a combination lunch/ dinner so you can taste test different items. Their naem chien (spring roll) is one of the best ones ive had, seeems like they freshly rolled it when ordered and stuffed fully without skimping on the ingredients.“
“i just ordered from green wok for the first time through uber eats and WOW. food came super fast, it was still steaming hot when it got here, and every single dish we ordered was easy a 10/10. i’ve been vegan for 6 years and never have i had such amazing vegan asian-american takeout !!!! super nostalgic, so delicious. 100% recommend !Dietary restrictions: 100% vegan with gluten free options“
“To start, our server chip very welcoming and attentive. The food itself wasn’t bad, I wouldn’t say it was the greatest food ever but for the price better than take out. Restaurant was pretty much empty, but the atmosphere seems as if many tables are not cleaned off. Overall I give this place a four-star. Again, Chip was great“
“This place is a real find for late-night snacks, especially since there aren’t many places open around 10 PM in this area. They’ve got a good mix of seafood and regular dishes to choose from. I really enjoyed the fried calamari—it was delicious, and the steak tips were pretty tasty too.The only downside is finding a spot to park on the street.Despite it getting pretty busy, especially around 10 PM, the food is definitely worth it. It’s also nice to have a lively spot to hang out and grab a bite late at night.“
“Service here was great. Parking lot is a bit small so just keep that in mind. For the most part the food was good and portion sizes were normal. The spring rolls were really good but a little burnt. The weird thing is you have to pay for sauce. Other restaurants give you a ton of soy sauce/duck sauce but this place you have to pay for it. I didn't give 5 starts because I'm wanted the sauce from the shrimp and broccoli to have more flavor and be a bit thicker. Otherwise it was good food.“
“This was the best meal I've had in a long time. The whole experience was top notch. The dumplings in peanut sauce were absolutely amazing. The sushi was great. The fried noodles were excellent. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The drinks were good. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back again soon.“
“Let's be warned, it is a typical mom and pop atmosphere. No exhuberent decor and pretentious interior design. BUT EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC FOOD.Based on my experience and traditional cooking, their foods never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable in this economy. There are some strong cumin flavored and spicier dishes, are personal preferences. IMHO, they are well executed, for example the cumin spicy pork ribs. It reminded me of a well grilled lamb from the autonomous Xinjiang area but with pork.In all, no restaurant is perfect to suit everyone's palate. For those who enjoys highly authentic food and with bravery appetite, this could be your next new outlet.“
“I have been a customer of Lamei for over 6 years now. I go here at least once a week…sometimes I’m here multiple days in a row lol. Everything about Lamei is great. The parking is top notch, the staff is amazing and I’ve really gotten to know them over the years. I love learning about their culture and they are such great people. The food has ALWAYS been consistent in top quality. The sauce bar is amazing, the tomato broth is my favorite! Anyone that doesn’t like Lamei either is uneducated about Hot Pot or doesn’t realize that you have to pay for quality ingredients. You don’t get good quality at a buffet, you get scraps and leftovers. I have never liked all you can eat hot pot from other places and have gotten sick many of times eating at other hotpot restaurants in RI. Lamei is hands down the best spot in RI.“
“Was craving something sweet and noticed they had sweet buns in the menu ! The service was amazing, the staff was very friendly. Leslie was awesome ! It was my first time here and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely come back for noodles.“
“Great crystal shrimp dumplings & soup dumplings. Large menu and offerings including lamb, Hunan dishes, and whole fish. Great to see authentic > Americanised. Glass noodles in chili sauce, pickled vegetables, pea shoots, mapo tofu, and dry green beans were fantastic too. Pleasantly surprised to find decent authentic Chinese food in PVD. Calm place with booths and parking outside.“
“Didn't take pics because it was gone before I thought to? But, the drinks were top notch, sushi excellent and service superb. Ate at the bar so maybe that's why, but even though the bartenders were busy they kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Will definitely be back.“
“The food was absolutely delicious. Hands down the best Chinese food in Rhode Island. The only disappointment was the portion size of the rice. I felt there wasn't nearly enough compared to my experiences in the past. Still, the food is impeccable. I've been looking for a good Chinese food place in Rhode Island for three years, and I think I finally found it!“
“I had not been since new management took over, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent! The front end could use some remodeling and their is a slight issue with communication, but they are on the right path. My compliments to the chefs! I'll be back again soon.“
“Osaka, a gem of an Asian and Japanese restaurant located just a few blocks from my home, has become my go-to spot for consistently delicious meals. Every time I order the sesame chicken, it arrives steamy hot, bursting with flavor, and perfectly cooked. It's evident that the kitchen pays close attention to every detail, ensuring each dish is a delight. What's more, the portions are generous, providing fantastic value, especially considering the very reasonable lunch and dinner prices in today's market. Whether you're dining in or ordering delivery, Osaka's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction shines through. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, mouth-watering cuisine at great prices.“
“You'd think being the only people at the table, we would get less than average experience. You would be wrong! Service was excellent. Food was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The Hibachi Chef was fun and entertaining. Great birthday experience.“
“acky's Galaxie and Sushi Bar is a culinary delight, offering a fusion of Asian flavors in a vibrant setting. From mouthwatering sushi rolls to flavorful stir-fries and traditional dishes, the menu caters to a variety of tastes. The sushi bar adds an exciting element, showcasing fresh and expertly crafted rolls. The restaurant's elegant ambiance and attentive service create a memorable dining experience. While prices may be higher for sushi, Jacky's Galaxie delivers exceptional quality and taste. Overall, it's a top choice for those seeking delicious Asian cuisine with a touch of sophistication“
“When I tell you!!! This is some of the best Chinese food, ANYWHERE, period! Im here NYC and have tried many Chinese restaurants ane this place in now in my top 3! I had the Chicken in Garlic Sauce combination with Chicken Fried Rice and a side order of Fried Pork Dumplings. The amount of sauce they added to the Chicken in Garlic Sauce was on the extra side, but I loved that! It allowed me to mix it into my Fried Rice. 10's across the board! Now lets talk about the Dumplings, the smokey-ness taste to the sauce for the Dumplings was amazing! Truly gave me everything I was missing in my life! I was quiet the whole time I ate with my family because the food was so good. This is the biggest recommendation I can give, MUST TRY!“
“Great food and they fill the box up to the very top with food so you know your getting a good deal. Would definitely recommend about $12 a person or so depending on if you get the two or three option but definitely worth it for how much you get so would definitely “
“Typical Chinese American fare. Decent portions. Clean restaurant. My only complaint is that the Crab Rangoon is on the sweet side, and I prefer them more savory. Since that's a personal preference, though, I don't think it fair to take points off for it.“
“Now that Silver Crystal has closed, this is to my knowledge the only place for Dim Sum in little Rhody. The food is authentic and delicious. If you were a customer at the aforementioned SC, this menu is almost identical, down to the names of dishes. Several years ago, i believe they changed ownership, and I was happy to see them keep the food unchanged. Service for me has always been prompt and attentive. Some of my favorites are the dry beef chow fun, yang chow fried rice, baby bok choy with garlic, and beef brisket wonton noodle soup.“
“We Ordered dinner from China Gourmet tonight through Grubhub. When my dinner was delivered I realized I had accidentally ordered the wrong item through the Grubhub app. I called the restaurant to ask if I could bring back the wrong item for the correct item. Not only did they tell me to keep the incorrect item, but to stay home and they would deliver an entire complimentary meal of the correct item as a courtesy. Not only great food but great customer service !“
“A neighbourhood restaurant with spectacular food!!! I have been all over the world including China and this place rates in the top ten. Number one in Rhode Island if you ask me. Try their soup. Everything they cook here is fantastic. The owners are wonderful people who bend over backwards to make sure that you are happy. They will cook anything that you like anyway that you want regardless if it's on the menu or not, so long as it's Chinese food! Order ahead for special duck or dim sum dishes not on the menu. The kitchen is immaculate btw, I have seen it. They make a mean Scorpion Bowl here too! Pretty much any drink will be good. If you are a Chinese Restaurant fan you will want to visit this place and then you will be home a regular. They also deliver to the Cranston Metro.“
“Great food at a reasonable price. Every time I go there there’s a turtle in a Tupperware container right behind the counter. I’m not sure if it’s consistently the same turtle without fail a turtle. Now I’m not sure if it’s a pet or food but either way it’s definitely a turn off. I would like to free the turtle one of these “
“I didn't like this place until my friend recommended the sticky wings and they are by far the best I have ever tried. The sticky sauce taste almost like a sweet soy sauce/general tao sauce glaze. I wish the sauce were a little thicker so that it could stick on the wings more and so the breading would stay a little crunchier. I only come here for these wings and are the only thing on the menu I would vouch for. The rice taste very plain and the egg roll did have a very fishy taste--it tasted like the smell of the ocean. I also ordered the teriyaki sticks and they were actually good. I like that the meat was sliced thin and was not hard/tough. The parking is very small so I would recommend parking at CVS or dollar tree and walking across the street.“
“this is my favorite Chinese food in all of Rhode Island! Truly no other Chinese food establishment that offers the same quality of service and food, me and my mom drive 20 minutes because we don’t like the fried rice anywhere else, it just doesn’t compare ??“
“Big fan of the orange chicken combo from this location. It comes with rice and your choice of soup. The lunchtime special can't be beat for value or taste. It's a great place to have a quiet lunch or family meal. They also serve free hot tea (or the used too its been a while since I ate in) nice people and friendly “
“Food is always good and consistent, Try this steamed products/ chicken and broccoli everything always good, always polite and friendly. I have been ordering there for 10+ years. This is an honest assessment. And my honest experience with them.Dietary restrictions: You can get any product steamed without the sauce and I recommend highly . You can taste the flavor of the vegetables and the meat.Parking: Streetside parking ,nice and easy.“
“Absolutely delicious, inspired menu. The owner is a JWU alum from Korea and is passionate about providing great food that's affordable for students in the area. Can't go wrong with a Bento box for lunch or the Korean Fried chicken anytime!“
“My boyfriend and I both enjoy ordering delivery from this location. It arrives hot, on time, and the flavors are good. There's plenty of vegetarian options available for those that prefer to skip meat products, as well as some seafood dishes as well. I enjoy the orange chicken, pork fried rice, and beef terriyaki the most but everything I've ordered so far has been great.Parking: There's lots of free parking all around this restaurant, as it shares a large centrally located lot with other stores in the plaza, including a SubWay restaurant and other retail spaces.“
“Loving the new menu! Food is so fresh and the new renovation is superb! Price is fair and the the food is absolutely delicious !! But please be aware DO NOT get the Vietnamese noodle soup!! Now for pho lovers you know what the real noodle soup consist of! This is just not it trust me! The soup is like package ramen noodle soup with very thin noodles and beef that were meant for stir frying coated with corn starch! Real pho and real noodle soup consist of fresh 8 hour simmered broth and fresh bone and meat. They shouldn't even try to offer that leave it alone or serve Chinese noodles soup and not Vietnamese. However everything else is a 10!“
“You wouldn't expect by looking at it that this is one of the better spots for good, fast chinese food in Providence. The sticky wings are amazing. Also has some hispanic dishes. The only reason I don't give them a 5 is occasional inconsistency.“
“Yang Restaurant?? is the best Chinese restaurant you can get in Broad Street. With Broad Street being such a long road with an abundance of restaurants and markets, having this restaurant around is the best. By far their most popular item is the chicharrón and tostones combo. Chicharrón is pork and tostones are mashed fried plantains. I would recommend getting this item!! It’s only $10! If you want to just have one, then get the chicharrón. Another popular item that’s my personal favorite is their chicken wings, these aren’t just your average wings that are the size of a finger, these are actually massive wings that often fit in your entire hand, adult wings! I am unsure of the exact cost per wing, but you can get 6 of them for $11. They’re hot, crispy, and very filling. Of course they also offer several other combos and many other traditional Chinese items. They offer curbside parking and have an entire parking lot at your disposal. They make the food FAST!! Often finishing whatever item you ordered in around 10 minutes since they’re always on the job. They’re open from 11:00AM to 11:00PM and often are opened during holidays. They also speak pretty well Spanish and English.I don’t have any negative comments about this restaurant other than the fact that they only take cash, so be warned this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. No credit/debit cards allowed?❌. For anyone that isn’t familiar with chicharrón, The way this restaurant makes it is with bone-in. So be careful to put it in your mouth and take a bite without being aware of where the bone is, I would recommend breaking off pieces with your fingers before taking a bite. Just to make sure you don’t bite on any hard bones because they’ll definitely hurt your teeth. Some won’t have a bone, but most willVegetarian options: For vegans there's couple of items you could definitely still have here, for example fried rice, and other vegetables. As a vegan you can still have one of the most popular items which is the Tostones, since Tostones are made out of a vegetable.Dietary restrictions: For anyone who is especially Muslim, bewarned that they're most popular item"chicharrón" is pork. Since the name is inSpanish you wouldn't know until you search it up or someone tells you. Other than thatthere's nothing else that you should worryabout that isn't already in English. If youwould still like to try one of the most popular items then you can either get the chicken wings or the tostones. Tostones are made from a vegetable called plantain, resembling a banana.Parking: In their parking lot you can comfortably fitabout 5 cars, if not more depending on yourparking angle. They also offer curbsideparking at the front of the restaurant thatusually fits about 2-3 cars. If you're willing to make a walk you can also park at the curb next to their parking lot (However that curb is often shared with a nearby restaurant so it won't always be available).Kid-friendliness: The restaurant offers many seats so if youcome with a child or plan on dining with them, they offer family friendly tables and waiting areas. For food they do have french fries and soda which most kids like. Be careful giving them their most popular item, "Chicharrón" since most of the chicharrones have a smallbone in the middle that kids could choke on or hurt their teeth with if not careful.“
“The food is excellent only second to the service. They are fast, kind and always there if you need anything. I love this spot for take out or dining in.Dietary restrictions: If you ask they will accommodate most requests if possible. Never been an issue when going with people who have dietary restrictions.“
“I've been going here for 15-20 years. Even though I moved from Cumberland I still continue going there. The food is amazing. The woman who works there is one of the nicest people ever.We usually order a huge order and then just eat Chinese food all week. The order is never messed up even though we are probably pains in the butt to make food forParking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Both of my kids are autistic and it's never hard to find something that their picky palates will enjoy“
“To preface, it’s not entirely authentic or like the best food everrr. But it’s great enough. I don’t usually write reviews but I really appreciate the staff that helped me. Nowadays they have this kiosk that sells boba and take orders for take out. I have only been there twice, once two years ago and again a few days ago. I got mapo tofu rice platter and fried chicken wings. Chicken was great but also as great as any other asian restaurants that sells chicken wings(it’s prepared similarly). Mapo tofu didn’t have mala in it or at least not that I could tell, but it was ok and the portion was great. The staff though, a white man this time(bot sure if they changed owners), but he was exceptional. So nice, welcoming, polite, gave me time, didn’t pressure me to order, didn’t even ask for tip. Asked me again which choice of sauce I wanted and when I couldn’t decide he just gave me all. It was just condiments but he took time to ask instead of just didn’t give me any.“
“Super Dragon is great for classic New England Chinese take out. The crab rangoons are the more savory type, not as sweet as some places. The beef teriyaki are really good too, like with actual good beef. They also make their own duck sauce. And the woman that runs the front desk is frankly so nice and charming I always feel happy to have supported their business.“
“I got to experience all the things that people from past how they set the example for us today they continue to endure everything that they went through we are still going through because of to all my brothers and sisters around the world hang in there we are almost at the finish “
“Always delicious and the service is awesome! I like that you can see the cooks, and how they all work together like a fine oiled machine. Sometimes the wait is long, but yummy things come to those who wait! We treat ourselves once a month, (not the best for diabetes)...we get the egg drop soup, which is Hubby's favorite, and the General Taos combo is nicely presented, with rice, a few stems of broccoli, a nice airy filled egg roll, and the best General Taos sauce & chicken I've had in a long time! Their scallion pancakes are just right and the dumpling sauce is a perfect match....portions and prices are perfect! Wish they had delivery!“
“I have ordered from here about 4/5 times since moving to the location and the service I have gotten has been great! They are accommodating and go out of their way for you. The food being great makes this restaurant so much better and I’m normally picky about new Chinese spots lol you have a returning customer here. Thanks guys! :)Also, prices are very fair!!!“
“First time ordering and I will definitely be back.. I've tried a lot of hot and sour soup and this is the only other one I've ever liked since (imo) the other place was my favorite. I really loved this soup ty?My daughter took half the order and all of the crab Rangoons? I couldn't say no.. lolDefinitely recommend!“
“Driving by and tried it. Just your average Chinese food. We were the only ones in the dining room area so we were hoping for King's Garden quality in Cranston not being busy but you know it's more authentic when you walk in and see Chinese people there as dining customers. They know. Huge menu at KG too.“
“This is the best Chinese food restaurant in Cranston. The food is delicious, always hot, and fresh. They make the best fried rice and the food is consistently delicious. Friendly people, fast delivery, great food. What more cou,d you ask for?!“
“Absolutely delicious! We’ve tried almost every Asian restaurant within 15 miles and had given up hope until we found China Garden! We have had a variety of dishes and have never been disappointed. Portions are big, food is fresh and service is friendly. Super easy to order online and pick up quickly. We’ve finally found our favorite takeout place!“
“The food was delicious and fresh. It was decently priced. Everything on this picture + drinks cost less than $100, but I didn’t expect to see 18% tip deducted from my card. We planned on tipping the waiter for an excellent service but I felt unhappy when it was taken out of my card without prior warning. This explains why the restaurant does not have lots of people dinning in. Next time I’ll just order a take-out since the owner feels entitled to tips by force.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the coconut shrimp and fried chicken wings.“
“Food was so good that it made up for the rudeness I received over the phone. I was prepared to give it a bad review but I respect the food way too much. It definitely became My go to for Chinese food from now on!Added pictures of the menu as it’s hard to find anywhere online“
“THIS should say it ALL!!! My daughter and I drive from EAST GREENWICH, RI to LINCOLN, RI (PAWTUCKET LINE) "ONLY" to pick up our orders in which the"MANY" times to which we call and place our orders with Dragon Villa!! AND, back in the year 2019, when we lived in North Providence, this Chinese restaurant was, (and STILL is), "ALWAYS" the BEST TWO (2) GRANDSONS, ..Parking: There is free parking, which is nice. However, the parking is very "tight", both getting into a parking space and quite often, driving/getting out of a parking space.Wheelchair accessibility: There is NO Wheelchair accessibility to get into the restaurant.“
