“Clean, casual modern restaurant. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Their Chinese food is one of the best if not the best in Rhode Island. I first went about 15 years ago. My first visit I had the Orange Crispy Beef! It has consistently been a favorite ever since. They do a great job with all of their food. A few of the many highlights is their delicious Hot and Sour Soup! Very traditional, full of flavors and has a nice kick. Their Egg Rolls are old school with celery, pork, cabbage. These are top notch! If you like wings, they have Asia Wings with a sweet, garlicky, sticky, finger licking good sauce. The wings are crispy in the right places and juicy on the inside. Another favorite of mine is their Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Shrimp is always fresh and the sauce is delicious! Definitely one of my favorite places in New England!“
“Fabulous dinner last night. Loved the Ceilo Rubi cocktail, the delicious oysters and the paella. My boyfriend also loved his lobster bisque and seafood casserole. “Valentine’s Day was my first time ever visiting the restaurant, it was very busy and me and my boyfriend were actually late for our reservation and the hostess took amazing care of us and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated even though we were late. When we sat down our waiter was Ken and let me just tell you Ken is amazing. He made my entire experience at the restaurant amazing, and he made sure our food was cooked to our liking. He was knowledgeable of the entire menu, and he recommended some really good things for us, and I am not only loved the food I loved the atmosphere, and the entire experience was amazing! “Officially one of my new favorite restaurants in providence! When you walk in, there's dim lighting which I particularly enjoyed especially because it made the providence sign stand out. Our waitress was kind and very attentive from the minute we were seated. Now the food was divine, everything was perfect. We ordered the calamari and each ordered the short rib with gnocchi. Every ingredient in that dish complimented each other so well, it was such a lovely culinary experience. My friend also ordered the "only fans" drink which she enjoyed. Will definitely return and can't wait to introduce more family and friends to this restaurant.“

“1st time eating here. Service was very good. Food was good, large portions. My swordfish was slightly overcooked, but not bad. The rest of my party enjoyed their dinners. My biggest complaint was the strange seating. We had a party of six, they had a bench seat for 3 of us and chairs for the other 3. The strange part was the table for 2 set right on top of us. 1 person on the bench, 1 in a chair. Just felt very crowded. Overall a very pleasant dinner.“

We typically grab a couple seats at the bar, and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. Every time we walk in, a manager is there to greet us and gets us to a couple seats either by the bar or at the adjacent tables. I eyed the flight of margaritas offered on the drink menu long and hard, but discretion won the day. First was the fish slider appetizer, which was generous and tasty. Next, I had the Chicken Scarpielle: chicken and sausage with asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes and a cream sauce. The sausage was sliced thin as communion wafers, so 'boo' to that, but the dish was good overall. Boyfriend took umbrage at the amount of side-dishes which were up-charges (namely, all the good ones... including salad) so he settled on the French onion soup.So, this is our second time here, which reminded us it's not our kind of place. “I've been going to Micheletti's since it opened in 1976. John Whitelaw has done an incredible job bringing the restaurant to the next level. I've read some of the other reviews and with all due respect, it's a dinner! Not the Capital Grill for gods sake. Every dish, every server, every person on the grill has been outstanding. Oh by the way if you like chowder, fish n chips, whole belly clams, or a fisherman's platter this is the number one place to go. It's better than the Cape, or any other place in South County RI.“

“I am a little bit of a harsh critic when it comes to my meat. I ordered the tomahawk and I wouldn't say it was bad by any means, but it was just okay. It tasted like any other cut of meat. It was not as tender as I would have wanted it to be and there was more fat than usual. However, I ordered the banana bread dessert which was phenomenal and I would go back just for that and the drinks. The ambience was great and our waiter was extremely nice. He brought out samples of all the various sauces they had available with our steaks which I loved. It was my friend's birthday and the staff wrote her a birthday card. I thought was super thoughtful and went above and beyond what most restaurants would do. Overall I would recommend this place, I may have just caught them on an off night for steaks.“

The first time I walked into the Chieftain, my very professional bartender Kenzie made me feel like I had been here a hundred times before. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, she filled me in on the history of the restaurant. She made me feel comfortable from the get-go. It's almost St Paddy's day, so I got the Corned beef and Cabbage. Spectacular is all I can say. This was the first time I've been here, and certainly not the last. I can't wait to go back.“

It was pretty distracting this visit. Love the house salad! Excellent dressing. Entrees this visit were Chicken Parmesan which is always tender and delicious served with perfectly cooked linguini, and a new item, Bacon and Cheddar Meatloaf. The meatloaf is smothered with what I would call French onion soup gravy, and served over mashed potatoes. Delicious, and nice presentation, but we both felt the somewhat thin slice of meatloaf itself was lacking in texture and bite. It was almost mushy. I can't say I really noticed the cheddar and bacon. We ordered a slice of Tiramisu to go and ate it later at home. Light and flavorful!“

You have a sauce with some pickle flavor. You add salt to your liking (I added a lot) and you have a very interesting flavor for the fries! “I went here with my friends after climbing and literally hits the top 3 burritos I have ever had (I think the best tbh). The tortillas are handmade on site and seared which adds a nice crunchy texture. The cheese was so good because it had an amazing pull and bite like a cheese pizza.
