“Absolutely excellent. Stopped in very hungry for a late lunch and bought $50 worth of stuff including a sandwich on their old world Italian bread which is amazing. Got a cold brew which was fantastic and a container of cheesecake gelato which was absurd. Stopped in the next day to run it back because omg. I have an Airbnb in the area and don't often get down that way because we're renting it out but I may have to block off a few weekends just for an excuse to frequent this place while in town. Can't wait to get back. They have several homemade dinners I will be trying next.“
“I've been meaning to try this place for a while & I'm happy I did! This cafe is so cute and cozy. Great place to do some work or meet up with friends for coffee. The barista was super friendly & answered some questions I had about their menu. I got an iced mocha with oat milk & loved that the espresso was just strong enough.“
“We enjoyed the Everything Salad and the Chicken Salad for dinner. Everything was delicious and the vegetables were in great condition for time of year. If I'd do it again, I'd pick items that were cooked fresh on the spot - the chicken. The falafel is served cold and the gyro meet is warmed not shaved on spot. It would also be helpful if they listed the dressing options on the counter.“
“Delicious selection of fresh and cooked food, Seven Stars Bakery bread (the olive is sublime). Warm sandwiches and pizza every day. Soups too. The café section is clean, nice tables and chairs, faces windows. Really enjoyed discovering this gem!“
“Came here for a quick Sunday morning stop while on vacation. There is a small parking lot in the back with a few spaces out front. Very intimate atmosphere, feels like going to a family member's house with the overall homely vibe. The employees were very nice and helpful. It was also good to see them interacting with other customers in a way you can tell they had longstanding relationships with them. I try to support small businesses and was pretty happy with the service. We ordered the eclairs and some macarons. The macarons particularly were tasty (earl grey and pistachio) although they seemed a bit overbaked; they tasted perfect. So moist inside. Unfortunately we did not like the iced coffee. It tasted very inoffensive and like generic store coffee, although it wasn't expensive.I did notice lots of signs inside promoting French culture and community, which was good. I would come here again for the baked goods alone - would like to try more macarons!“
“If you don't like eating here you're either stupid or poor. Absolutely a certified 10 in my opinion and I've surveyed about three people on it. My buddy Rudy and I went in because we think one of the cooks is a little underprivileged and we just want to support him. Great place to eat and not get the hiv. Ciao, Bella!Parking: Parking was good.“
“A lively, light, and inviting space with friendly staff and great food. Ordered not your average BLT, egg sausage sandwich, kid cheeseburger, tater tots, blueberry muffin, and blueberry muffle pie. Understimated a large plate of tater tots and had to pack to go.Parking: It's all about if you came off season when parking is easyKid-friendliness: Staff was patient with the child wanting to order. Kid's menu is sizable and filling.“
“Came for lunch and was lucky enough to get a table for 5. The place is small, but the menu is big with everything you could think of for breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food was tasty and fairly large portions. I'd like to try this place for breakfast.“
“My daughter brought me here as I was visiting and it's hard to find authentic and tasty English Food and a proper cup of tea. The couple who owns it is lovely and of course have that great warmth of "Here's your tea love." the Cumberland sausages were excellent and are made here, the scones were wonderful and everything was cooked just right. it's a little hard getting into because of the construction but don't let that stop you! Served by the owners and the cute ambiance of the Queen and the King are fun.“
“We were looking for a quick place to eat early in the morning on off season, and Kaffeology hit the spot! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the service was quick, the staff was friendly, Taylor Swift was playing in the background, and the vibes overall were great. The drinks were fun (a Milky Way latte and a Rose Vanilla Latte? yum!) and the restaurant was cute with seating for about 8 people. I would love to stop in again next time I'm in Newport!“
“Dear Steff and the team at Scratch Kitchen. Every single member of the team is pretty awesome and the food. Wow!I was introduced to Scratch Kitchen by Kevin at Innovate Newport as I needed to hire a catering vendor to support a conference. The entire process of working with Steff and Scratch was a partnership and nothing was too much to ask.On the day of the conference, the feedback from my delegates was overwhelmingly wonderful and everyone applauded the menu.Scratch Kitchen and Catering is a fantastic gem of Newport and I can’t wait to come back. PS: The Reubens Sandwich is off the scale ??“
“Beautiful bakery and cafe with excellent food. The side salad with the breakfast sandwiches is a nice touch. Limited indoor seating by outdoor seating on wrap around porch and at fire pits is charming. Glad we tired this. We'll be back.“
“We parked up at the top of the hill, so we were close to the Mansions. Needed a watering hole after trudging round a Mansion. This place was just opening when we walked by. The beer was nice and cold, priced reasonably compared to the rip off merchants down by the Harbor. Best thing about it was the Owners. They were really personable. So, we came back for a grilled chicken sandwich lunch before heading home. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Wish there were more places like this. Highly recommended.“

Always ready to recommend the best coffee options and assist customers with a smile, they make the experience of every visit memorable.Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to work or simply want to unwind with a good book, Grafik Café is the perfect destination. With its inviting atmosphere and delightful selection of coffee, it’s definitely worth a visit.“
“Love it here. There’s indoor and outdoor seating (include bar stools). Very cozy in some areas indoor. The backyard has plush and well maintained lawn. Loved that this outdoor space is child-friendly. They host events here on weekends so I can imagine, the space fills up quickly. I stopped by for breakfast on a weekday and there was a line to order food and drinks, but the service was effortless and quick. Food was tasty. The one thing I will point out is the smoothies are not made of fresh fruit/veggies, I was bummed by that. They use flavored concentrates. Parking in the front is limited, but there is a sign pointing to extra parking toward the back.“
“This place is DELICIOUS. Worth the wait for sure. Came to Portsmouth for Christmas and had an AWFUL coffee the day before at another place whose name has left my mind. I usually am a straight espresso kind of person but the menu was so extensive that I got the peanut butter cup latte which was phenomenal. You're going to wait a while to get it but it's delicious.“
“My family and I had the Chicken salad, Grilled cheese, Rubin, and Lox. Everything tasted great. I had the chicken salad on sourdough bread. Chicken wasnt dry or have too much mayo, there was so much chicken salad I sould have asked for a fork. Its definitely a sandwich you could share the other 1/2. Grilled cheese had a lot of cheese which was in ratio with bread. Rubin wasnt soggy and actually toasted not just warmed. The Lox was on the breakfast menu but they made it anyway which was nice. Cute and quick place to order sandwiches to go. There is one table for 5 if you need to eat inside. All in all it seems like a great place for great uncomplicated delicious sandwiches.“
“Glad we popped over here from Newport. The French toast and breakfast sandwich were delicious. The pastry selection was huge, though we didn’t partake. The line was long, but they were taking orders as fast as the could. This is an order at the bar style cafe. The food came out fast. Nice little outdoor area as well. Popular with both the locals and tourists.“
“Staff here so we super nice. They know my coffee and always ask me if I want my usual. I will go here again. They are apologetic if anything ever happens to register and if something is down. They are always willing to treat you with a smile and ask you how your day is while you wait while they make your coffee.“
“Wonderful baked goods. The Asiago bagels, croissants, and fruit scones are my personal favorites, but there's lots of choice. Avocado toast is a real treat. Great breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. Excellent coffees. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (in season) seating, except perhaps during morning rush on a sunny summer weekend morning. Very charming atmosphere.“
“One of my daughter's favorite coffee locations. A pretty young crowd the days I've been there most times. coffee and food is pretty typical for chain store locations consistent and tasty. Note Dogs are welcome this is a big dealKid-friendliness: kids are welcome“
“Went around 3:30 when it was completely empty. The pastry and sandwich was absolutely delicious and the historic building the cafe was in was beautiful. Their hours are excellent when a lot of other cafes are closed. Highly recommend to anyone needing a meal. Parking wasn’t a struggle- but it was a weekday in the off-season so I imagine it’s more difficult to park around here in the summer.“
“My family and I vacation in Newport, Rhode Island each year. We enjoy breakfasts together during our trips and so we have tried several restaurants in the past, including the Franklin Spa. During our our visit this past week we noticed that the menu was different and there was a different vibe to the location. My suspicions were correct as we met Nick and Brittany, the new proprietors!! The food was great, lots of options and at a fair price. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we returned the following morning to enjoy our last breakfast before returning to Philadelphia. If you are in Newport and in search of a place for Breakfast, I highly recommend the Franklin Spa. We look forward to returning in the future.“
“I arrived a few minutes before closing, and it was pretty obvious they were in that process. They very kindly offered to serve me and the to go food was excellent. Staff were polite considerate and tolerate of me taking photos. The food was excellent, and I discovered they are dog friendly in the warmer months. That's a huge plus for me. Thanks for a delicious meal. I will be back.Parking: Parking free or paid depends on seasonKid-friendliness: Plenty of children's options and the monkey theme will bring squeals of delightWheelchair accessibility: Looks to be“
“I haven't visited often but it has always been one of my favorite scenic spots. The latte's are always good. There was one barista who worked here last summer, I don't remember her name but she had curly hair and the customer service from her was awesome. I was sad to not see her this summer, but I hope she still works here!“
“Stopped here for lunch after a Salve lax game @ Gaudet field. Food is homemade, fresh and delivered w generous portions. Warm customer service. Breakfast, lunch, take away and bakery. Sit down, counter or take out. I had homemade chicken rice soup, crusty melty panini, and a top notch, authentic tiramisu; all bursting with flavor. Delicious coffees for the road. Highly recommend and will come again.“
“Found this place when I went to Newport. After parking I looked places to have a bite. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The workers are very friendly. The menu has different varieties to choose from. And the Chai Latte is amazing. The atmosphere is great where you can seat and enjoy every little bit. So come by and enjoy this little gem.“
“We stopped here at the recommendation of our hotel. Frozen peanut butter mudslides were awesome. Bartender was very nice. They had limited food available (around 3pm). Hotdogs were good. Really a great place to hang out near the water, away from the crowded warf area. We would go back on our next trip to Newport.“
“When I worked in Newport, this was my go-to spot for a latte in the morning with a muffin or bagel. If there was time, I would sit in the cafe to enjoy my food and latte surrounded by a clean and warm atmosphere.Outside of my normal order, Anna D's also offers a variety of desserts and breakfast options with lunch choices too. On a rare lunch out, I ordered a delicious ragin cajun panini that was cooked well and tasted great! You can also grab an ice cream during the regular season when its side building opens to serve delicious sweets of sundaes, frozen yogurt, and more.In addition, parking is available and easy to access, and Anna D's has a friendly and hardworking staff. This is a definite must stop in Portsmouth!“
“This place is great! Best breakfast on Thames and the customer attention is awesome. Try the omelets and the sausage links rock. Staff is friendly and always smiling! Nice to see local people chatting over a great breakfast...See you very soon 12 Meter!“
“Amazing find for breakfast! It seems like a small mom and pop restaurant, very limited seating. The service was some of the best I've had! The food was quick and very good. Even prices were way below what I would expect in a tourist area! Kind of disappointed in the Hunts not Heinz ketchup, but I'll live! This place is worth a stop for sure!“
“It's my little hidden gem. The vibe and atmosphere are great here. Very nicely appointed with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a handful of pastries to include various breakfast options. The various beverages, coffee, lattes, hot or cold. The Acai bowl was delicious. The avocado toast was great. The service was top-notch. Staff was very friendly. There's so much to choose from. I will absolutely return for sure. Kaffeology is on top of my list of places of repeat visits. Can't wait to go back.“
“Great sandwiches and coffee, with a beautiful view of Newport bridge and the west passage. It is a tiny place inside, but has a lot of outdoor seating. The service is very friendly and fast. Unfortunately they close early in the afternoon, but love going there when it is open.“
“What a cute little place! Stopped by The Moose on a whim after visiting a farmstand up the street. The combination of offerings they have here is so strange... yet satisfying? Breakfast/coffee and ice cream don't usually all go together as a business model, yet are some of my favorite things. The ice cream flavors are insane... like I've never seen so many flavors in my life. I opted for a breakfast sandwich and a Frozoffee (couldn't pick between ice cream or coffee, so I split the gap). Very impressed! Will definitely go back for ice cream.“
“Went to Black Goose Cafe today on the recommendation of someone in a sangwich group. I got the Parisian: grilled chicken breast, caramelized onions, herb cheese spread, provolone, and baby spinach. This normally comes on country white bread but I substituted multigrain for no extra charge. It was $9.95 before tax. I rate this 8.3/10. I rate my sangwiches from a rubric of three standards: taste, eatability and texture. Taste 8/10. Overall a delicious sandwich. Good balance in toppings, the herb spread was tasty. Me personally, I needed something tangy/acidic to cut thru the richness of this beauty (do you see the cheese pull in the photo??). That and a little heat, so maybe a house hot sauce I could buy on the side would do the trick. Eatability 8/10. A little herb spread dripped out, but had no issues keeping clean while eating with the paper in my lap. However, I took out most of the spinach in one bite on one of the halves. Texture: 9/10. Not all their sandwiches are paninis but I highly recommend you get one. The crunch on this was incredible and it helped balance the creaminess of the insides. The multigrain is extra good this way, the press toasts the seeds on top Other things to note: decent menu with mix of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, salads and Buddah bowls. This Cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks AND BOBA (which I was thrilled to find!) Customer service was a little cold at first, they didn't greet me when I arrived and kind of ignored me until they served me. But once they said hi, they were very sweet and gave good service. GORGEOUS view of the water and they have a patio on the side to enjoy both your order and the view. Parking was easy enough out front but could be tricky if they're terribly busy. I believe on the street parking is also available. I'm definitely coming back, this is right down the road from work“
“Was meeting a friend for a walk at Cliff Walk & stopped here for a vanilla chai latte as I was very early. The latte was great & although I don’t drink coffee the aroma inside was fabulous! There were many folks sitting & enjoying themselves. The line was out the door but the baristas were very efficient & friendly! Will definitely stop in again when I am in town for some of the delicious looking desserts & another chai!“
