“Food is fantastic! Had the street corn with chips, steak fajitas, and the tofu quesadilla and all were fantastic. Love the feel of the place, and has way more seating and floors across this old building. Watch your head upstairs if you're tall! Drinks and service is great too as they got us in earlier than our reservation.“

“Delicious food but know that it is pricey - one ear of corn is $7 and a generic water is $2. Small inside but easy to sit and eat - we had burritos , guacamole and chips, corn and a tinga taco and it was $75. Not a college friendly place for kids on a budget but very good. Not extremely friendly - no greeting when you are in there - what I have come to expect from most places now though. Would go back but not often since it's so pricey but worth trying if you like Mexican food.“

“came here for lunch because I wanted some nachos and fish tacos. this was the perfect spot. the place seems busy all the time, but service is friendly and they are hustling to get you seated and served quickly. we had some nachos and tacos, beer and churros. the fish tacos and catch of the day tacos were great. nacho plate was the bomb. they had plenty of different hot sauces. I will definitely return if ever in the area again.“

“Wonderful spot in Washington Square, Newport, RI. Al fresco, outdoor dining on a nice day, and a beautiful bar with lots of seating inside. Staff was so friendly and offered recommendations when we asked. New Chef Marianna, is making delicious food so you need to stop in for a fresh taste of this Newport Restaurant Group taqueria. We really loved the Nachos with Chicken Tinga, Queso Fundido, Tacos and Fajitas. Highly recommend the blood orange margaritas!“

“This place was very small but cute. There wasn't a lot of seating. I decided to build my own bowl and it was kind of like Chipotle style. The service was quick in and out. The bowl was delicious and really filled me up. I would say this place is just as good as Chipotle and everything tasted very fresh. I would recommend!!!“

“I just got home from this restaurant and must say the food (tacos de Birria) was outstanding! It took a bit of time to order and even more time to pay my check. These folks need servers, especially at the bar, who are fast and efficient! Hey guys it’s a Monday night! Just think about what you’re gonna do on a weekend night! You need to get better folks serving to push that wonderful food! I will be back maybe in a month or so and see how it goes! Good luck!“

“Love this place. Rare for me to say things like that. All the ingredients tasted fresh as if they were made in house. When you eat at a family restaurants there are little things in the details that would escape the casual corporate diner. The music, the decor, the staffing, the place oozes with authenticity. It feels like an authentic Mexican family restaurant. When you see the staff eating here you know its a good place. Honestly, nothing tasted like it "came from a jar or can" it tasted fresh and homemade...well, maybe the sourcream was from a jar (thank the Americanization for that spin). I had the vegetable burrito and my wife had the Spinach Quesadillas. She found hers a bit too cheese, good but too much cheese for her liking. I had a bite and thought it tasty and again freshly made. Some mayfind a strong cilantro taste in the seasoning but it shouldn't be a surprise, it's Mexican, cilantro is in everything. The service this night was friendly and super quick. It was like "I barely put my menu down" and our food arrived. Keep in mind this was a Monday night...probably the best night to avoid crowds and get quick service. It's a must try if you've never been. I hear there's one in Cranston too. This place is definitely on the 5 Star Eat Again list.Vegetarian options: If you eat vegetarian then you know the drillParking: Drive. Find parking spot. Put car in park. Exit vehicle. Lock it. Goto restaurant . Enjoy.“

“As you can guess from the name, Pancho O'Malley's, this place is an identity crisis but benefits from leaning into it.This feels like a spot for locals but is welcoming and VERY Rhode Island. The food is good for the price so the value is there, especially when compared to competition in close proximity. We were delightfully surprised by the food while the atmosphere was both kitschy and cozy.Service was pleasant and reasonably prompt. We hope to catch a show or do karaoke there next time we're in town.Parking: When this plaza gets hopping, expect to get patient and creative to find a spot.“
