“The pineapple fajita was a delicious surprise! Earned the 4 stars. The steak and chicken fajita was tasty. The rice and beans and corn tortillas were pretty standard though. The tomatoes with that fajita dish were pretty plain- not pico de gallo. The drinks and the service were good! Chips and salsa are offered to each table- I was not impressed by the chips, the salsa was ok- not chunky at all, it had a runny consistency- pretty mild. We were there on a Thursday night - we enjoyed the live mariachi which visited tables for tips. They belted out 2 songs for us. There is a separate bar area and 3 to 4 separate areas with tables and booths. We enjoyed the merengue and bachata music that was playing when the mariachi was not performing.Kid-friendliness: I’ve been with my kids and have seen others with kids.“

“I was born and raised in LA, and have struggled to find Mexican food that reminds me of home. Tuxpan is a slice of home, and is the best Mexican food I've had in Rhode Island. “There's is no place better than here! I have a friend who shares all the places to get delicious food at and she suggested here. She says she drives half an hour to go here. “I discovered this food truck during RI Food Fights: Taco Mania. We drove by it by accident the first time and had to park up the street, but there is some parking right behind the truck. The man who owns it, Danny, was super friendly and the customer service is top tier. The food is also delicious so all around I would say you need to add this to your list of places to check out. They have only been open for a few months and I just saw that new items are being added to the menu. I can't wait to see what they grow into as they stick around for a while.“

We order different dises and we are very happy with our order.I love that they have only mexican music playing and are very colorful..... I don't mind paying 18% on tip on any restaurant. I ordered an quesa taco which was a taco that was overflowing with cheese and chicken. I also ordered their popular dish the birria which is a taco with shredded beef.Anything that came in a shell was grilled which made it nice and crispy. That is what made El Paso stand out from other restaurants. Not to mention, everything was delicious. We also ended up ordering a Nutella crepe with bananas and strawberries which we ate in seconds.We will be back again and again.“

“Came here today for lunch. I was craving some authentic tacos and decided to give this a shot. I'm glad I did. Not only are they friendly but they also are very affordable and delicious. I ordered the Al pastor, the Barbacoa, and the carnitas. The carnitas were my favorite but the tacos were filled with meat and plenty of fresh cilantro and onion and lime. We ordered 6 tacos and they came out to $16.00. The truck is a bit unassuming and it's located in a parking lot across from the supermarket but great food. I'll definitely be back. “So I have to say I am really pleased that Diego’s has got its groove back. I was there in June for a disastrous brunch and we left aft 45 minutes of a really bad experience. I mention this as the owner must have cleaned house. I was there on Sunday for brunch and I can not help but to describe the experience as phenomenal. The service - impeccable. It was almost as if the waitress knew when our drinks were almost empty every time. She also had some great recommendations related to the food and drinks. The food - phenomenal. We had the crack fries as an appetizer and it was not only great but the portion large enough that I had trouble finishing my actual meal. And the special - I had the Chicken Benedict. The only thing I can say bad about it was it was so big I couldn’t finish it. Everything about it was perfect - it had a little zing, the cornbread was a perfect alternative to an English Muffin, and the chicken so good. So my compliments to the owner and staff. I don’t see my review from June but I’m sure they remember it and changes were made. “My partner and I were craving tacos so we looked in the area and decided on trying this place and we were so glad we did. I got two Al Pastor tacos and a Horchata. The filling was juicy and flavorful while the tortilla was moist and the perfect texture.It's a small place, and even though we came around 2:30pm, it was still pretty busy with people coming in to eat.
