“Rachel, our server, was super upbeat and knowledgeable. The ramen is the best in the state, in my opinion, and I have tried a lotof ramen in RI. Yagi makes their own noodles, I don’t believe there are any other ramen joints in RI who do that. And FINALLY a good restaurant in Newport. They needed one! Boba is great as well, dairy alternatives and awesome flavors. There were also caffeine free options for my kids. We will definitely be back.“
“We had an excellent dinner experience here. The food was great. The main dishes are a bit pricey but the tasting menu was exceptional and an excellent value. We got to try everything we wanted with this option. We didn't leave completely stuffed but comfortably full. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. They had no issues accommodating our dietary restrictions with the tasting menu which was refreshing. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Newport and I would come back again every time I visit. If you are in Newport, make sure you get reservations here. “My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“
“Food is fantastic! Had the street corn with chips, steak fajitas, and the tofu quesadilla and all were fantastic. Love the feel of the place, and has way more seating and floors across this old building. Watch your head upstairs if you're tall! Drinks and service is great too as they got us in earlier than our reservation.“
“Much like the other reviews, I had a fantastic experience with Darwin. The mark of a good bartender is being able to make a great “bartenders choice” drink with your liquor/palate preference. Overall the drinks where great with the service to match. A go-to nightcap in Newport for sure.“
“I've been here 3X and had pizza with great little olives, a chopped salad w/charcuterie meats, and another visit just salad. The atmosphere is charming and modern, the sourdough pizza crust is really refreshing. Drinks & wine list match, refreshing!! Staff is friendly. It's located near parking and has a great little vibe!! Mother does know best! ;)“
“came here for lunch because I wanted some nachos and fish tacos. this was the perfect spot. the place seems busy all the time, but service is friendly and they are hustling to get you seated and served quickly. we had some nachos and tacos, beer and churros. the fish tacos and catch of the day tacos were great. nacho plate was the bomb. they had plenty of different hot sauces. I will definitely return if ever in the area again.“

“Tasty Thai takeout! I'd like to eat there next time since the ambiance was so nice. The beef teriyaki and sticky rice were super flavorful and nicely done. The soup was classic and hot, and my favorite item was the fried pork gyoza which was crispy and the dipping sauce was perfect with it. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for Thai food in the area.“

“We had a welcome party at the sons of liberty brewery for our wedding weekend. This brewery surpassed our expectations. We reserved one of their event rooms and were amazed by the space. The space included a large bar as well as many places to sit, stand, and even play pool. All of our guests told us how amazing of a time they had here. The drinks were delicious and the service was top notch. The owner also made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We have endless amazing things to say about this place. Make sure to give it a visit!!“
“A very pleasant surprise find after a tulip picking outing in Exeter. The food was nuanced and flavourful. We had the shaved veg salad and pork nachos for appetizers. Tasty dressings and great variety of textures and flavors. The Thai style fried rice was beautifully seasoned. You knew from the mound of perfectly crispy fried basil on top that the chef cared about serving delicious food that hits all the right notes. The texture of the beef rib was soft and juicy. The black bean burger was good and the fish and chips were huge and well cooked. The key lime pie and lava cake were not overly sweet and flavorful. Prices were a bit higher than I expected for being outside a city but you could easily pay the same prices for mediocre or worse food in Boston or Providence. Additionally, we loved all the Jamaican music. Great random find!“
“Very affordable good seafood. The lobster salad was amazing!!! Fresh large pieces of lobster with tomatoes, avocado and blue corn chips. I ate the entire plate! Really fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the seafood chowder and it was good. In would agree with the other reviews that it was a little salty. For the main course I had the grilled salmon with crab cake. It was a lot of food. The salmon was very very good and the salmon was good. Too much food. My husband had the stuffed shrimpAnd he ate everything on his plate. It was also very good. For cocktails I had the grapefruit martini ?. I really enjoyed it. Tasty and not too sweet. My husband has the very (black berry?) old fashioned and it was also very good. We will definitely return. The service was also very friendly and attentive.“
