“Generous, generous portions of lobster in their lobster rolls. Some of the best lobster rolls I've had around the state. Calamari fritters with their boom boom sauce is a winning combo. Then there's the fried oreos, which I could eat a very dangerous amount of. The french fries are always crispy. I'm so glad our town has a seasonal place like this. It's easier to enjoy with their new outdoor seating, too. This definitely isn't my first time eating here but I've been here enough now to leave a review. Can't recommend enough.“

American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. Seafood •
165 Tidal Dr, North Kingstown

“I may be the luckiest oyster eater in the world -- living nearby American Mussel Harvesters. As a former commercial shellfisherman (quahogger), I know what fresh seafood means to the taste buds, especially when it comes to shellfish. The selection and freshness of oysters, mussels and quahogs is unmatched by any market. And the kind folks bent over backwards to ensure that my late order of oysters on Christmas Eve would be fulfilled. It was either American Mussel Harvester oysters, or nothing. And they had the package of the finest oysters from Rhode Island ready for pick-up, despite closing for holiday. Looking forward to Christmas Eve oysters on the half shell! Thank you once again AMH!“

“A home run. My wife and I ate at the bar and the bartender was outstanding. We had a question regarding the use of garlic in a certain dish and although she was pretty certain she went to the kitchen to confirm. Service was wonderful as was the food and ambiance.“

“My husband & I had our Anniversary (51 years) dinner at the Coast Guard House on Monday, April 15. We enjoy going there as the atmosphere, food & service are always top notch! Victor was our waiter, and he made our experience totally awesome! He knew the menu, prices and delivered our personal preferences in a timely manner; not rushed. I also want to compliment the hostess for her professionalism on such a busy day. Great job Coast Guard House! Thank you, Victor!!“

They enhanced the flavors and enriched the experience.Food was great and filling.Staff was kind and knowledgeable. We sat in a small quiet dining room, although the hotel was beautiful, we would have preferred the larger dining room.I would go back ?“

“The food was excellent. Coconut shrimp app, veal parm, chicken parm, and grilled salmon for the three of us. The sauce on the parm dishes was terrific. We shared two desserts of the blueberry and lemon cake and the hazelnut gelato. Service was very good, although a smile was difficult to receive.“

“My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“
