Due to the storm Pastryland was closing. They made my mother's cake today and waited for her to come and pick it up. So thanks to them my mother will still be able to blow out the candles tomorrow on her birthday. Awesome!!!
The worst thing I can say about this bakery is that I find it a little expensive. The pastries and baked goods are tasty, and the service is good. Maybe I am comparing it to supermarket prices which may not be fair.

I used to get birthday cakes here constantly years ago, but moved too far away and it's been years since I've been there. The other day, I had a hankering for real birthday cake frosting, (which you can't find everywhere anymore) so I drove up there, and asked the girl at the counter for a white birthday cake.
